    • Absolutely , and thus democracy does not exist only the illusion of it which is just another way to control the masses. Early in history violence was was used and the threat of it , then religion followed by in more recent times the illusion that the people had the power although that was never true as only land owners could vote or people of a certain status and they always worked for themselves... Cromwell had much to say on this and was correct although it was disputed whether he was good or bad in the end although he did highlight the corruption that is inherent in all democracies which has always been true where we can study it...

  • I'll be spoiling my ballot. I was going to never vote again but i want them to know I think they are all a shower of shite. I'm a 75yr old woman who's religiously voted every year, but never again. I now know the shadow government rules no matter what party wins the election and sit their backsides in Westminster.   • It's as rare as Rocking Horse poo that I've ever agreed with anything Galloway has had to say but on this issue he is completely right and has my full support! Both Conservative and Labour cling to the notion that they represent their voters core values, unfortunately for the electorate this is far from the case. It seems things are very cosy in Westminster which is breeding arrogance on an unprecedented scale together with a healthy dose of contempt and disdain for each party's voter base, this political status quo can not continue because it is so very bad for the country as a whole! UK politics has reached a watershed, it's viewed by many as morally corrupt and a waste of time, voter apathy is at a record high with many seeing no point in turning up on the day. The two main political party's have only themselves to blame for this debacle and they're going to get more than their fingers burnt if they're not lucky, the people are desperate for a real alternative and not some ramshackle hash up by a comedy clown show! The latest to hit our screens and airwaves is The Reform Party, this by all accounts is not a spin off of UKIP and seems to gaining momentum quite quickly much to the alarm of the usual suspects. If this interest can be maintained and built upon there is an outside chance that they just may give either one or both of the big two a bloody nose which they undeniably deserve, who knows where it may lead? One thing for sure is that we can not continue this charade in it's present form, the public feel disenfranchised and need their needs and fears not just heard but addressed! The giant is awakening and you ignore this at your peril.

You can bet your bottom dollar he won’t reduce taxes, he is hard left economic person who thinks everything should be run by the state with free everything and no clue how to finance it. Not one mention of immigration either. We have the highest tax rate in peace time let alone all the other additional taxes one has to pay and this guy will likely raise even more out of people.
