What are you talking about, every time Thais lose to a foreign fighter, with the exception of Rodtang they always leave immediately and don't even stick around for the hand raise. They also never make eye contact when a foreign fighter consoles them after a loss. I also think the Thais are losing much too often whenever there is a foreign fighter of a reasonable standard so now they are starting to bring in these completely hopeless Spanish fighters to make the Thais look better

@@johnathanbeshang3955 No, I'm not saying anybody is bad either - all I'm saying is that the majority of Thai fighters are not polite except to other Thais, and that I would like to see more even match-ups in ONE because these predictable matches are not doing anybody any favours
Seksan has his own unique fighting style, he is best in brawling and making the fight ugly and in this he is grandmaster, I love this guy. His attack-moves look so unordothox near a bit clumsy just very different but exactly with this approach the guy keeps knocking his oponents out. Aditional he always gives it all his heart and body has to offer. I very happy for Sekrsan to reach his dream in getting the main ONE Championchip contract, may it bring some additional cash into his family house.

@itsjustme347 yes apart from nong o be retired b4 he came bk cos one fc gave him a deal and sam-a was still top ten in Thailand only a few from there generation,the Thai elite that are getting old that were multiple weight class champs in lumpinee or Rattan..... cant spell it lol thailand other top stadium that's still competitive sam -a us kne of them
@@tuchesampho2047 Sam-A definetly not top 10 anymore. He is a legend, but top 10 anymore? No. There is plenty of upcoming stars that surpass Sam-A at this day of age.

When I look at Seksan now, he doesn't fight the same like before when he was young. His style is very messy. He doesn't block kicks, don't block anything. He just absorbs. His strikes look like he is a beginner. It's weird.
Seksan fighting style is like an amateur, but it's the style he's best at.
He is past his prime, so obviously he isn’t as fluid. The style you described is the exact reason ONE isn’t Muay Thai. This style works in ONE and a lot of people fights the same way.
But he managed to knock all his opponents out who are non- Thai and considered to be very good and powerful fighters. 😅😅
And he doesn't make weight? 140 isn't a contracted weight in ONE? But i'm glad to see him in! I don't think he make 135 without cutting water weight, so I hope he picks 145, and he'll be KO'D quickly in that division and should be interesting to watch?
@@scottlemurianboxer he has fought at 130lbs and 140lbs. Don’t think it’s much of an issue for him to make it to 135lbs. He could also go up a few kilos and fight at 65kg Bantamweight.

You did see him almost loosing his balance each time Araya hits him with a leg kick to the shin?Muay Thai fighters especially Thais when they are hurt they will be more aggresive that is their defense mechanism to install fear at their opponent which work out for Seksan this time. This is also the reason why Muay Thai fighters who turned to pro boxing only found little success cause each time they are hit with a solid punch they would act like they are not hurt only to be knocked out the next time.
@@teddygarcia2855 Honestly watching it closely, those reactions looked preemptive. It's like he was anticipating those leg kicks and turned his body so his calf would take the brunt of the damage instead of the shin which is a sound strategy. Besides, leg kicks are mainly used as a tool to distract your opponents before going for headshots. I don't think Araya could have won using those. Seksan just provided too much pressure with his hands for Araya to land any more kicks. Also going for too many leg kicks makes one predictable and opened to being tagged up top. Seksan was constantly closing the distance afterwards and leg kicks are ineffective from close distance. And really? Way to generalize an entire race in an individual sport. They aren't all going to respond the same way in a fight. Fighters in general become more aggressive after getting hurt to earn more points back in the eyes of the judges. I highly doubt it's a race/cultural thing. That wasn't a real bright comment. Boxing isn't even popular in Thailand. They are all about Muay Thai so of course Thai boxers will struggle if they don't train from youth with the best coaches from around the world like their opponents do.

@@teddygarcia2855 Who are these boxers you speak of? Thai fighters don’t fight back immediately after a knockdown to instil fear. They do it to hide the symptoms of being hurt because that can sway the betting odds of stadium fights even more
