Day 2 of an amazing training event at Rockcity in Hull, United Kingdom in March 2024.
If you haven't seen it already then check the Day 1 video here:
• Worlds Strongest Climb...
On day 2 we revisted the '1 minute / 2 attempt comp' with levels 1 to 5 of Balance, Coordination and Power.
In March 2024, Rockcity and Serious Climbing Distribution kindly provided a training camp that included some of the Worlds best climbings holds that were expertly set by B-Pump owner Katsu and renowned Climbing World Cup setter Tsukuru.
There were strong Japanese, German and GB climbers that included no less that 6 World Cup gold medallists.
Climbers included Sorato Anraku, Miho Nonaka, Yoshiyuki Ogata, Daiki Sano, Alex Megos, Yannick Flohe, Max Milne, Hamish McArthur, Jack MacDougall, Jim Pope, Erin McNiece and Toby Roberts.

  • This video and the last one are the missing content on KZhead and something that the IFSC should produce on its own instead of only focusing on competition. Please keep those coming and show us how friendly this sport is.

  • Your slab climbing is phenomenal! I remember watching a vlog from one of the world cups last year and you mentioning slab wasn't one of your strong points. The work you've put in definitely shows when looking back, you're evolving into such a well rounded climber! Banger content as always Toby, could watch these commentary style videos for hours on end

  • WHAT A VIDEO! So many cool details in both the climbing itself (as well as the setting etc..) but also the production of it is silky smooth. Really enjoy the commentary, especially the moments when you point out things to learn from the specific boulders: interesting to see a more in depth analysis. Alex's side line was very funny (and not that inaccurate). The 'weird types of training' montage was really cool to. Please keep making these kind of videos. And thank you for inspiring me in my climbing.

  • Great video! Could you maybe do a video on the training you do in addition to your climbing and the reasoning behing it (starting at minute 14 in the video)? That would mega interesting

  • Damn, no matter how i think about it, its actually insane to believe someone has that much strength to do most of these boulders. My poor fingies & toes hurt just thinking of the strain

  • Dancing on the wall, that's how it looked like to me. Inspiring and motivational training format. Looked like a lot of fun despite the sketchy falls ;) Big shout-out to the setters.
