I am from TN. I had watched the premam during my clg days in Bangalore. I haven’t watched the Telugu version fully yet but small small clips from that what I felt was the Telugu version looks like a movie because ppl are over reacting sometimes in the name of acting(I agree the same with the Tamil version Bangalore days remake too) but the Malayalam version feels more like real life to me. (Precise realistic and natural acting as said by Sathyajith R). This is what I felt, actually I love both the Industry but When it comes to this movie mallu version is more lifelike.

Nice reaction guys. Sai pallavi's performance is better and nice compared to Shruthi Hasan because Sai Pallavi is dancer and the Malayalam Premam is better than Telugu one. I actually liked both. The Telugu version had Nagarjun as Chai's father and Venkidesh as Chai's Uncle .The film is about George played by Nivin Pauly in Malayalam and his love interests. In Teen days he loves Mary (Played by Anupama Parameshwar) a girl from his locality but she is in love with another guy. In college days he falls in love with Malar his teacher (Played by Sai Pallavi) she too loves him but in an accident she lose her memories and marries her cousin. After some years George running a restaurant meet Selin (Played by Madona Sebastian and she is the Little girl who always rome with Mary, his first love). He proposes Selin but she is Engaged with Rony (Played by Alphonse Puthran, the director) . But soon the marriage get called off and George marries Selin. In Telugu Nagachaithanya played Vicky and Anupama and Madona reprised theire roles while Shruthi Hasan replaced Sai Pallavi. Both are Tamil girls. Sai pallavi is the best dancer of all heroines in south India. Many heroines can dance. But saipallavi is a heroine who can choreograph also. Sai pallavi alone choreographed in premam(Malayalam movie).

I am a Telugu person but I love Malayalam Premam only. In Telugu they ruined a lot with all terrible actors. Shruti Haasan spoiled it. They should never have touched the classic for remaking in Telugu at all.
