gidle is a very bold group, that some even tend to forget they're a 4th gen group. Plus, they're also self-made, and make a lot of their songs. They debuted in 2018 with latata, and the Fandom name is neverland. They used to be a group of 6, but a big conflict happened like 2 years ago which, as you can see, cause them to be a 5 member group now. I totally recommend you check them out, they're very versatile and always come up with amazing concepts, they won't disappoint❗

as from research, the song and the music video both took the inspiration from Marilyn Monroe and Banksy. The lyric "I'm born nude, The pervert is you." basically explains it all. Miyeon said “The song title is ‘Nxde’ but the ‘nude’ we are trying to convey is the concept of one’s bare self. It means that when you are wandering, or conflicted in the face of an important decision, you have to look at your true, honest self.” while Shuhua added “People have a fundamentally racy image with regards to the term ‘nude.’ But the meaning of the term itself is not sexual. We chose this word to show ourselves, as we are.” Miyeon also commented on the lyric "The pervert is you.", “This is the reason why we put in this lyric. Because we think that depending on your perspective, everything can change drastically. So we wanted to tell those people that ultimately, the pervert is you and thinking like that is your perspective.”
They had 6 members, so we are sad now to see this comeback without a single member - she could be an icon here , in this concept.

From what I've heard: people have been searching up "nxde children" or anything "nxde" so they made the songs name "nude" so that whenever people searched it up, all that was there is the song made by gidle Also, people have been making videos with the song showing how much people and mostly kpop idols are being sexualised despite Also being human. In the song it says "I was born nxde. The pervert is you" which emphasises it. This is what I know

I have followed (G)I-Dle (you can just pronounce their name "idle") through a lot of concepts, and have to admit, this is a tough one to start with as your first exposure to them. Every concept is thought out well and different from the last. All their albums together form a story from the beginning, so coming in at "I Love" you have missed the Depression, Anger, Redemption, and Reconciliation that come before Loving Yourself. I would invite you to start near the beginning, to see their progression. Since they produce their own music, they have a lot of freedom to convey their own messages and meanings in their lyrics. You would also get a glimpse at OT6~ The 6th member of the group, Soojin. With her, they were (G)I-Dle. Since she left, they dropped the (G) and only refer to themselves as "I-Dle" as the (G) in their name meant "6 individuals" and the 6th member is gone. It may also lend some insight as to whom the animated character resembles. It's not Marilyn Monroe.

Idle is great! They aren't afraid to tackle topics that are important to them like challenging gender norms or inequality in the industry etc. Soyeon, the rapper, is one of the best female rappers in kpop. Her raps are what got me into kpop in the first place. She's such a sweet person but her raps can be savage. She writes and produces a lot of their music. Some of my favourites that have MV or performance videos: latata (debut), lion, uh oh, oh my God, hwaa, hann, tomboy, my bag and dumdi dumdi. Their latest album is great, but I'm not sure if there are any other videos available yet.

Love that you’re reacting to them!!! They’re my favorite group and have a lot to offer in terms of concepts and music styles. Originally, they were a group of six, but soojin had to leave last year, because of a „bullying“ accident and now they’re only 5. But they still seem to include her secretly in the music videos. Here in Nxde she could have been portrayed as the woman in the animation 😁

Gidle is a self producing and unique group. All their songs from debut on are self produced and they basically fit every concept.
Something I got from this mv is the animated girl looks a lot like the member soojin which got kicked out for bullying rumors. (They were proven to be false) and another thing is when Soojin was asked who she likes or favorite person is she said “Marylin Monroe” and now they have a Marylin Monroe themed song.
What makes their sound district is because they are self-produced. 3/5 members are credited producers and have written, composed, and arranged their albums since they debuted. 4/5 are credited lyricists. And because of this, they have more creative freedom in their own sound than most groups whom have pre-made songs made by their own companies.

gidle is a self produce kpop girl groups which I stan them beacause they are so unique. Soyeon the leader self composed all the title tracks, and alongside, Yuqi and Minnie write the side tracks as well. They design all their concepts and it's always new concepts that hasn't been tried in kpop. They are really breaking walls and telling the world about gidle. STAN THEM!!

YEES!!!! One of my favorite girl groups 💜
As a Neverland since their debuting era, I'll explain the video first and then the group more. Yes, the Nude is supposed to refer to being your authentic self, but also the way media sexualizes women and disregards them as nothing more but sexy and dumb as Marilyn Monroe was actually a huge bookworm herself and did a lot for women in Hollywood back in the day, but everybody just remembers her as the sex symbol. The song itself does contain violins, the chorus samples a piece from the opera Carmen. My mom's a fan of the genre so I recognized the melody straight away. The group is different, in more ways then just sampling classical music, because for one, they are a self-producing girl group with their leader being one of the 15 female producers who are in the top 100 most credited producers of Korea and they have been involved with their own music from the very beginning (they are 4 years old as a group). They also come back with a different genre and concept every comeback, because their leader is an experimental genius. They were originally supposed to be a hip-hop girl group, but she wanted to be more then just that. Their leader, Soyeon, is the rapper you were impressed with. She is pretty much considered the best female rapper in K-POP and placed 3rd in Unpretty Rapstar when she was just in highschool. She makes most of their music, and makes their music specifically tailored to their voices and their line distribution is settled by which member would suit a certain part the most. She's also a self-produced solo-ist. The girl in the chair when you first made the Marilyn Monroe connection, is Yuqi. She's Chinese, an academic genius and one of the other producers in the group. She's another self-produced solo-ist in the group. The girl who you said was gorgeous, and who was at the movie interviews, is Miyeon. She was supposed to be the 5th member of BLACKPINK, but she hated the label and left to join (G)I-DLE. Self-producing had always been a musical dream of hers, so this group suits her better. So far, I don't think she ever worked on a B-SIDE before, but she did with her own solo debut earlier this year. The girl in the pink dress is Minnie. She's a self-producing member and whilst she had a solo feature and releases OSTs and covers just by herself, she hasn't made a solo debut yet. She's also Thai and related to the abolished Royal family so we Nevies call her a princess from time to time (Miyeon too, but she just wants to be one). The girl in the green dress is Shuhua, and her story is very important to NXDE. Like, let's begin with the fact she's Taiwanese and not a genius like Yuqi. Companies don't really teach foreign idols Korean, so unless you are a genius or have a gift for languages like Minnie, you are pretty much screwed until debut as THEN you have the time in between comebacks to take language classes. Shuhua was eaten ALIVE by haters in the beginning. Which was only worsened as she hadn't actually completed her training yet. The story goes, that the company wanted to keep training her, but these girls are genuine friends. Their 6th member Soojin who I'll get to later, was the first friend Shuhua made in Korea even though they didn't understood a word of what the other was saying. So Soyeon allegedly demanded their label to allow Shuhua to debut alongside them and that she'd take full responsbility. Soyeon as a leader is basically a proud, encouraging mom figure when it comes to Shuhua and always believed in her. Nonetheless, the haters really got to her and in one song, Senorita, she literally only did backing vocals because she didn't wanted to be surrendered to the hate of Korean netizens for her accent until she was better at the language. They did a serious number on her, but she kept on working on herself. NXDE is the perfect culmination of that growth. To everyone who was already familiar with (G)I-DLE, either you were a Shuhua stan like me crying "Baby, I knew you had it in you," or you were a non-Shuhua stan and completely blown away by how much she improved and how beautiful she looks this comeback as this is the first time she has ever dyed her hair. Shuhua is a natural beauty who is very much against anything altering her appearance, and even doesn't like wearing make-up which she is very known for. She's just that confident bitch, which is why I knew she could pull this off when most still doubted her. That brings me to the reason why she dyed her hair, that this comeback is an speculated tribute to their 6th member, Soojin. Soojin was one of the idols caught up in bully claims last year, and even though there is enough to disprove the claims, she was still pretty much kicked out due to cancel culture by her company. She was a talented dancer known for being a sexy performer but with a shy nature off stage and was a huge Marilyn Monroe fan (the blonde cartoon lady might actually be based on Soojin from their Oh My God era). She and Shuhua were basically sisters, Soojin had visited Shuhua's family back in Taiwan, they were the best of friends. This comeback just proved that Shuhua loves Soojin more then her silky black hair she was so proud of. When you've known OT6 since the beginning, the whole Soojin situation and seeing how they still think of her just makes me want to cry.

I really recommend to discover more of their music, they're 4 th gen group but all of them are in their twenties, as you said they have a different sound, they're known for their different but beautiful concept in each mv, the rapper that you liked her flow is the leader and writes and produces most of their songs. And the G in (G)-idle is silence 🤔 you don't pronounce it and it sounds like I-DEUL. Again i really recommend their music: Tomboy Oh my god Hwaa Lion Hann Senorita Uh-oh
For me they're the Kpop Concept Queens, every comeback they delivered the concept on-point. I've been a fan since Miyeon and Soyeon have been a part of "PopStars" by League of Legends Kpop Virtual group "K/DA".

Yeooobun ! Greetings from Paboland ! Some things to know before going deep into (G)I-DLE Soyeon created Latata because CUBE Entertainment couldn't give them a suitable debut song, she was 19 yo at that time (almost 20) but it was just the starting of our journey ! She then created and (co)produced almost every single song and every song used as a main song (Title Track) are Soyeon's creation. As for today, counting the last comeback (I Never Die), there is only one song where Soyeon didn't took part in any kind of way and it's Polaroid created and (co)produced by Yuqi. Soyeon is always involved at least in the lyrics because she can't rap a line/verse that she didn't herself wrote: - Because she think rappers should write their stuff, - And also because she want to express her feeling through her writing. All of (G)I-DLE members have somehow unique voices, Soyeon wasn't ok with the other members' voice coaches because they wanted them to be generic for the K-POP industry (if I understood correctly), but she thought that their atypical voices would be the group' strength. Nowadays we have a producer line, Soyeon (ofc), Minnie and then Yuqi. Minnie always had the idea to produce song as well, so she come out with "Blow your mind", which is a b-side from "I Made" their 2nd Mini album, she created it alongside with Soyeon, she then created other songs (Moon,Dahlia etc...). Yuqi then join in the producer line too, with the co-created/produced (alongside Minnie) song "I'm the Trend" which is seen as Nevies anthem. Neverland being the fandom name of (G)I-DLE. We now have 3 capable producer, that can make fire in the future and we saw it threw the album "I Never Die" or before that the album "I Burn" With "I Never Die"'s comeback Miyeon voiced her growing desire to write and produce songs too, so maybe next comeback we will have a Miyeon production too ! Soyeon released her first solo album on July 5th, 2021 which is named "Windy", the album show a different side of her. A more bubbly and bright person that she aspire to be more. "Beam Beam" being the title track, is bright have some rock aspect that really match the summer. She also have a collaboration with BIBI and Lee Youngji which are korean rappers, one the song "Is this bad b***** number" which I really recommend listening to. Yuqi did her solo debut in 2021 with "Giant" and "Bonnie and Clyde", she also used to be in "Learn Way: Season 1" also known as "Learn Wave" during 2020. Her solo debut show how deep and attractful her voice is, I highly recommend listening to it. She writed and produced "Giant". Minnie started her actress career with "So not worth it" in 2021 as well which is a Netflix' series. She also had a lot of model shoot during this year. She was feated in a Thai' song "Money Honey" alongside F.HERO and URBOYTJ. Miyeon released her first solo album "MY" on April 27th, 2022. It was a long awaited album from many fans and showcase how beautiful her vocal really is. It is a soothing and appeasing album. The album have "Drive" as it's title track which is a really ray of sunshine, the album on it's own is a very healing time to listen to. She wrote her first song in her solo debut's mini album "MY", with the song "Rain" which was produced by Yuqi as a gift to her. Unfortunately Soojin got caught in a bully scandal, which became viral because she got accused by an actress, which lead her to not being active from February 2021 to August 2021, then leaving (G)I-DLE but staying under Cube Entertainment from "August 2021" After bringing the police to the table and juridic case, it was difficult to prove whether the opposite side lied or not or whether Soojin was a bully or not since the event occurred 10-12 years ago... Which lead Soojin leaving Cube Entertainment at the beginning of March 2022. (I will not take position on this, I'm only LARGELY summarising) "Hwaa" was released January 11 2021 and since that date we didn't had group's comeback for 1 year and 2 months (I don't count "Last dance" since it's a promotional song for "Universe") and every member took a break and focused more on solo stuff. Foreigner line (Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua) going back in their countries. I will not come across everything they had done during 2021/early 2022 but it's mind blowing. Until now 2022 was a really booked year for them, wanting to compensate for the lost time, they worked really hard this year. They release their first full album with "I Never Die" in March 14th, then got booked with a lot of variety shows, brand apparition, cooperation with other artists in those two matter as well. Then they flought for their first ever World Tour, which started the 18th of June in Seoul and finished October 1st in Singapore. With all the hard work done during this year we couldn't hope for more, but then they released their newest comeback: "I Love" on the 17th of October. With this comeback they shut every people thinking they were a "One Hit Wonder", they are actually bagging PAK at this instant, being at the TOP1 of every chart in Korea, they also multiply their sales by almost 5. They are the first group afte Twice (2016) to bag PAK with two songs, and they did it with their own color and message. Which once again show the dedication they have for their musics. Fellow Nevies just remember that opening fan war isn't necessarily, (G)I-DLE was always seen as black horse but in the end they always come up with good stuff. We know what they are made of, and we just need to put our hands and mind to support them, our Queens ! Thanks for your reaction and I hope you will support them they deserve it !
Yes, you don’t pronounce the g in Gidle, so ist just idle :) Also, they were originally 6 Members, but one Member (Soojin) sadly left the group bcs of bullying scandal (?) which wasn’t actually true from what I’ve heard. You should check out definitely more of them! (I recommend Hwaa, Oh my God, Hann, UhOh, Latata, DUMDi DUMDi, Tomboy, but they have lots of good songs!) And could you pls check out Pixy? They have a dark/horror concept, which I LOVE. and they re insanely talented too! I recommend to you there Debut „Wings“, it’s Crazy! And another good group, which I think u didn’t checked out yet, is Dreamcatcher! They have a very similar concept like Pixy and are a little bit like there big sisters xD With Dreamcatcher you can do nothing wrong, they have more of a rock sound and are also very talented and amazing! And I also don’t know if u ever checked out Purple Kiss.. if not, then you should! They are also one of the few groups with a dark concept! I would rlly love seeing you react to these groups!

Cool video, and for those who don't know, their group name is just pronounced 'idol'. The 'G' in G-idle is silent but it stands for 'Girl'. So 'Girl Idol' is basically what their name means, lol.

I've watched a lot of reactions saying their name differently, but this is the first time I heard them being called "GIDELLE" hahahaha. You can call them "GEE-IDLE" (English) or simply "IDLE" (Korean). When you say they are different, yes, that is indeed correct. They don't conform to the standards of kpop industry and create their own thing. This is due to the fact that they create, produce, write, compose. etc. their own music. Their title tracks were also statements that somehow hits the judgmental and prejudistic things, not just in the industry but in most cultures. personally, they are the first and only kgroup that I followed. Their leader, SOYEON (rapper) always creates concepts before even making a song, thus their songs will always have personal and deeper meaning that what we are hearing. Most of this were explained in behind the scenes videos that they have. I really hope you check more of their songs, as well as their b-sides, OSTs, covers, collabs, etc. Really amazing group!

When u said “GADELLE” I lost ittt.... omg. However, the group is pronounced IDOL...however I personally say and know some people who pronounce it as G-IDLE as well but the G is generally silent. (G)I-DLE is easily one of my fav ggs after BLACKPINK and EVERGLOW . (G)I-DLE was a 6-member gg but is now a 5 member gg due to one of the members Soojin who was ALLEGED in a major controversy which led to her leaving and being released from the company earlier this year after she was on hiatus for late of 2021. If you decide to get more into them you will see her in ALL OF the PAST MVS except this one AND "TOMBOY" which was released a few months back so I wanted to let you know JUST IN CASE you see 6 members PRIOR to this and the "TOMBOY" MV and may be confused. But yea Soojin is no longer in the group sadly and left the company. However, a lot of people do feel as if Soojin really was innocent and was wrongfully accused and some people think she deserves it but personally, I too stand with Soojin. She was a true QUEEN just like they all are. Moreover, now we have 5 members: Miyeon (1:49, Main Vocalist, Visual, and oldest member) Minnie (1:07, Main Vocalist, and from Thailand, p.s her and Lisa are really close friends!) Soyeon (1:12, Leader, Main Rapper, Sub Vocalist, Center, also Soyeon is known to be one of the best female rappers in KPOP she is really gooood!) Yuqi (1:10, Lead Dancer, Sub Vocalist, Sub Rapper, Face of the Group, Chinese) Shuhua pronounced SHUWA (2:29, Sub Vocalist, Visual, Maknae aka the youngest member, and she is Taiwanese just like Tzuyu from Twice) Those are the 5 members and their fandom name btw is NEVERLAND. (G)I-dle is KNOWN as a multi-national girl group under Cube Entertainment . (G)I-dle debuted on May 2nd of 2018 with their debut mini-album called “I am” with their notable title track "Latata” which does have a MV.
