  • Constructive criticism: - not every comment needs to be responded to immediately. Example: “I really like X” and immediately everyone says “yes me too.” Just let the person finish their thought. - like above, you don’t need to say “right” or “sure” or “yup” to every comment. - too many people talking over each other. The audio sounds frantic and messy. Hoping for the best with the pod.

  • You're still failing at some basics with this streaming format (and same goes for live auctions). If you're talking about something on the screen, then show the screen for a long while, before returning the focus to your faces. I know it's impossible to have a picture of every single car you're discussing because that would require the conversations to be scripted. But you talk about dozens of model in each video and only show half a dozen (tops). Each of you should prepare with a base of photos that you think might be relevant.

    • Man, you should hear this BEFORE room-correction DSP was implemented. Its one of the toughest rooms Ive ever encountered. Sound deadening panels are great! Not feasable for a space this big without 20k+ invested. Amazing space - tough for sound. Unfortunately, while they have a good working 'set and forget' configuration - you can only do so much technically without an audio person there paying attention to the subtle details

  • To answer Doug’s question about plugging in a Tesla Model 3 “like a toaster”, there are KZheadrs who’ve done experiments on this. If you started a Model 3 at full battery and plugged it into a regular 120v wall outlet overnight and drove it on a relatively short commute, after a week you’d be well below 50 miles of range. On a 120v outlet it only charges at about 3-4 miles of range per hour, which is about how much range it loses if you just left it sitting around on the street in sentry mode.

They splurged for all the bells and whistles, but the automatic driving bit is really not good in the twisty mountain roads. However, the radar seems to spot wildlife fairly well, which is also true in my M6. Anyhow, Rangeley attracts a lot of tourists and I've even seen a few people who chose to drive all the way here in their EVs. Again, that's rare. It's many, many miles from anything and so not many folks make the trip with their limited range.

But what percentage of the fleet are they/etc. When will they outsell ICE vehicles in the majority of states or something like that. And as the owner of one I think you guys were onto something with the charging: it might/will happen when charging gets faster, range gets longer and there is a better infrastructure OR As more people who own homes they can charge 240 at Like me realize that they rarely drive long distances.

A CCS electric grand tourer makes very little sense with the transition to NACS, a NACS grand tourer doesn't have that issue nor does a CCS city car that'll probably only ever be L1 charged at home.
