She has a great personality/demeanor for interviewing people. Very nice.
cookletsdothis thank you very much :)
The first girl was answering very efficiently. My teacher would say "complete sentence, please".
I love how the little boy can say "Battle of Lego" and he is german
english is their second language right? so its pretty easy on them
***** I don't know why you thought that english was their second language, but ok.
hanks40cents You can say that it is our 2nd language. We start learning english at the age of 8 or 9. sometimes even earlier
He isn't exactly much older than 8 or 9. And where I'm from also start learning english at that age, but it doesn't exactly mean most people are good at it. What I think is important is that he can say it without a easily identifiable accent at such a young age. So I just assumed it was an isolated case, sorry if I'm wrong.
yeah, exactly his accent was interesting
loved that kid.
me too! he was like an old man in a kids body
Ahhh I think the first girl was jealous of the host asking her boyfriend questions. Look at the way they look at each other at 1:20 :P
ethan intellekt yes she was sooo jealous
5:38 Quickly overtaking the moderator position XD
Lol 😂
love these videos, I always learn alot from them. Keep e'm coming!
Great way of learning German language! Thanks.
I love your series! I am really surprised how some people actually let you see their bags! Thought Germans would be the last ones to do so :) very interesting!
bomik0129 There are probably many who refused to do that be were obviously not shown
Hahahahaa
The funny thing is that when i started to learn "Deutsch", people used to say that German speak slower than French (i'm french but this could apply with any other language) because German are presumably pronouncing all the letters of a word, unlike French who never - or seldom - pronounce the final consonants. But I realize this is a MISCONCEPTION because in the REAL life when Germans speak at their normal pace, i find they speak even quicker than French. Am i alone to think this way???
I thought so too! I speak faster than my french friends as it is but german is so much faster!!
Okay, good to see you're agree with me! ;-)
claudy I don't think there's any language on the planet where people generally don't talk fast or swallow letters in relaxed speech
germans speak fast.
I actually ended up listening to this one at 75% speed.
I liked this video though very hard for me to understand. That said, I've been studying German on my own now for over a year and VERY slowly I'm starting to understand things better, especially written German. I was tired of Romance languages and wanted to try something different. Key for me is lots of patience and working on a language regularly with tons of reviewing. My native is English; I'm front Flint, Michigan in the US.
Late reply indeed, but wishing you best of luck! :))
@@insanelyawesam1420 Thanks. I'm still at it. Trying to maintain / perfect Spanish, French and Portuguese and learn 2 more German and Italian. I think I need to put even more time into German.
@@tilakchandgouli9262 Not to brag, but living a couple of years in Brazil, Spain and 3 in France definitely helped. So, I'm studying Italian also and that is not nearly as challenging as the German, but I love languages and I'm determined to learn it. I need to start speaking it. My understanding of spoken and written German have increased greatly. I taught ESL, English as a Second Language for years. I liived 25 years outside the USA. returned in 2006.
yees! this is exactly the kind of resource I need to practice my listening!
+inkblotz1218 Genau!!
Danke für das schöne Video! Umgangsprache und auch Untertitel waren ganz hilfreich 👍
i don´t notice a translate.... mainly is that... it´s from street, real situation.. and i adore easy german... enought help me with improving.. even with other languages :)
easy german, very helpful, danke :)
You should also show us the shopping streets in Hamburg.
I like this interviewer, she's easier to understand than some of the others
Boris Tyson thank you boris, i give my best!
Ich mag ihr auch!!! Sie ist ganz nett, schoen, und klug!!!
Just discovered this channel via reddit. Thanks so much!
Very nice show ....
(Miri)
Das ist sehr gut.
ahmed hany Denken Sie? Oder Weissen Sie?
Ich kenne sie, du hast Recht!
Daniel Roberts ok. das ist cool!
Esta chica me encanta, es tan dulce!
lol this is quite awkward in some places :D
Germans need to practice to become better at smalltalk. That's what Easy German is for.
Chris G. haha thats typical German. :D no one likes small talk here :D
I know. The first couple seemed a bit annoyed that they were getting interrogated about what they just bought and why. 😂
No it's not. You are just an awkward prick!
I know germans living in the u.s.a. for 30+ years that said the guy with the boxing gloves spoke too fast even for them. All kids seem to speak slower than the adults but at least the kid could follow her questions with her fast rate of speech.
Sehr gut, Vielen Dank...
Schon zwei Monate ohne neue Videos...
I think that guy was trying to flirt with you!
he stated right at the beginning about his wife, didn't he?
Sophia Romanova he was unfortunately being ironic about it. he made a joke about 'a' wife, not his personal scenario at home. arent we all a bit flirty, haha :)
Miss Miri probably you are right)) o didnt catch that
Wtf?
nobody said "mind your own bee's wax" -- geez, the people in Hamburg are realy nice. P:S: Miri loves the word "Anlass"
Ich stimme zu. Miri ist ganz nett.
I am in NYC, and I just recognize, that in Europe is not too many overweight people like in US. They don't eat Monsanto GMO corn...i think...oder?
Stimmt :(
Is that Miri? Fun looking lady 😽😼 Haven’t seen her face in ages.
For a momento I thought I understood German hahaha then I realized the subtitles.
Sehr gut
Die Boxhandschuhe, nice
Well, at the end she asks what would the viewers buy in the spring. I was unaware I should buy anything special in the spring... So I guess in america nothing special? I went to the mall yesterday and bought a leather belt and a video game... does that count?
Lego Star Wars passt gut zum 4. Mai.
What a strange! In Italy trees have already bloomed and everybody wear t-shirts.
well that's because it's Hamburg
Eintracht Frankfurt I know it, but it's a strage reality for me :)
squigoo OMG :O
Emma Rasera I know, I have been in Italy quite often ;) I just wanted to point out that Hamburg is one of the coldest and most rainy places in Germany. Southern and West-Germany is warmer, but of course not as warm as Italy.
Ich bin verliebt!!
Blue hat guy was freeakin fast. Jeez man...
Oh my god, what an expression. He can become a famous celebrity in future..
I found a bit weird that she asked the guy to open his boxing gloves. Totally unecessary ...
She was just trying to interact with him. Perhaps you come from a culture where people don't interact as much, because I found that very normal.
lol in my culture (american) I find it a bit of an invasion of personal privacy, asking to open someones product.
mouthpiece200 im brazilian it is very invasive as well 😂
Is this Miri? - I miss her from the Hamburg episode!
squelchtheory guess its me! and its me on episode 64 again :)
4:53 "Man hat ja schon alles"
2:44 *Das bin ich vor 45 Jahren ;)*
that first girl, 0:42, looking at the host, lol
That clown in the beginning.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
awwwww 3:12- 4:06
Ilove you
Hi everyone.I'm an English teacher trying to improve my German, but I have a slight problem. The problem is three-fold: I can't find any websites that have TV shows in German (with or without subtitles and even pay websites are welcome), which would be really motivational; the same goes for listening and reading comprehension. For English listening comprehension my students use www.esl-lab.com and for reading comprehension, www.readtheory.org, both fantastic websites, but I can't find any like that in German. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
is ausgegeben means spend in English?or? i dont think so!
Fadi Abboud yes, you are right in this case. "(Geld) ausgeben" means "to spend (money)". "Ich habe (Geld) ausgegeben" is "I have spent (money)". Colloquially you can also say "Ich möchte dir einen ausgeben." for "I like to buy you a drink" Another meaning is "to pass off". "Er hat sich als Polizist ausgegeben" - "He passed himself off as policeman."
Vielen Dank für Ihre hilfe :)
Ausgeben- literally means "to give out." Sowas sagen auch im englischen "How much did you give for that?"
Daniel Roberts danke :)
He was flirtibg with her :O
jaira morales villalobos who?
If you think talking to strangers is same to flirting you are sociopath
Reeperbahn!!!!
wdb4me Ich komm an!
What is ;for confirmation?
Is that easy German? The main topic should be "German at which only natives speak but others just look" :) At least the speakers could talk more slowly. There is not enough and effective material which is open for public access to learn it. That is why German has the 11. place in world's most spoken language scale..
Sie ist ja süß!!!
What’s the point of dipping all in people’s bags .
Herr Spell Check, microsoft needs you.
Einkaufen in Hamburg.
Hello
Girl interviewed on min 1:15 is very selfish and Rude hate her personality !
she is hitler's grand son ,watch out your back hhhhhhhh ,am kidding
yeah, how come such people have boyfriends
I Did not get the joke made to the italian for drinking coffee
Maybe she means, Italians don't go shopping, they just drink coffee all day!
what!!! First she says in an earlier conversation "Nee, die Damen nicht!" and later in the conversation about wineglasses, the dude says "Nee, das sind wirklich Weinglaser drin" Is nee both a negation and an affirmation? - my world is about to explode Oh wait - is Nee dependant on the statement that follows directly after?
Nee is a dialect of nein. I didn't watch the video but if he said "Nein, da sind wirklich weingläser drin" then the interviewer probably said something like "im sure there is X in there" after he already told her its wine glasses, so he says, "No, its really wine glasses"
It’s like saying nope
you are talking very fast. i did understand you. even one word
Alles Beste!
Conformation as in wedding?
A conformation is a religious ceremony where a person (usually young person) is accepted into the clergy of a church after having studied scripture and church doctrine for a period of time, usually a few years, and being dubbed worthy by the Pastor/Priest of the church to join :) That is, if it's the same in Europe as in the USA.
KTF72Productions Ah, thanks. I'm not religious so I wouldn't know but generally I don't think we have them in Britain, not sure though.
Caththolic church does in the UK I dont think CoE (protestant does)
The Swedish church and all scandinavian churches (protestant) does have them.
I need to watch this for school #roblox4life

Also 😜 das heißt: easy german?😆 oder was..
