1.Focus on what you do...! 2. stress comes from lack of control. These two lines definitely win my heart.
Stress really comes from a lack of ability to accept and manage the fact that your span of control is limited.
@@jeremysanders9336 thanks, that was a much better explanation
Abhinash. Focus on what is most important to you. Not on someone that can only focus on wealth.
Stress comes from a lack of results.

One of my favorite Bezos interviews. The interviewer did a FANTASTIC job. You can tell he came super prepared and kept Bezos on his feet without being overly critical.
Ford Smith he couldnt be critical, i believe bezos owns business insider
I've just read the book 'The Everything Store' about Jeff and Amazon. It is very interesting to hear the views straight from Jeff's mouth rather than from a writer about him.
+KaRi ThePrimeSpot I've been listening to that exact book on the audible app off and on for about a month now and am halfway through. Then I was like, well why not hear it from the horse's mouth? I am so impressed! And the interviewer has both my annoyance and respect, because he pushed way too hard with the questions, but they are questions I've been dying to know Jeff's answer to them.
I'm 30 min in.
Guy made that book too early
since this interview the stock price of Amazon went up 150%
dropping again tho
yes but 150% return in 18 months is not bad, or is it for you?

Matt Phelps wouldn’t consider you a YTer if you don’t post...
I feel amazed of how he, even though a ceo of a huge corporation, still understands the importance of a good, lean operation.

Watched till the end and was excited to. The interviewer asked the questions; tough and playful and the answers were very insightful. Loved it.
Hello boss, I'm excited to meet you because you said I won't be rich until I fly to you. I know that the wealth is there when you keep the wealth. I want to know when I can get a green visa so I can travel. I won't be tired for working hard. and I'm happy that I went to workone people ruined my name for a long time If my reputation is preservedbut anyways that's how god is with me. thank you so much for the trust and hopefully I can come this year and excited to meet other bosses as well. more success and God bless
Jeff's Key Words Customer Obsession Andy's key words...Compelling Customer Experience
Really good interviewer, not afraid to ask tough questions! Kudos to Jeff Bezos for not shying away from them too.
3 years later, he´s the richest man on earth.

Awesome interview. One of the best brains in business.
Bezzos has guts and smarts. He has been able for so long to make the typical short-term investment environment to believe in the long-term. This is what building a business is all about.
empire* FTFY
blabla they fuckin morons
omg i noticed one thing that jeff can stop his smile suddenly :))
This interview is super nice. The interviewer actually let Jeff talk!
i love how business insider looks like a funiral director with the flowers and his suit
LOL interviewer is the ultimate troll

"What really matters is that companies that don't continue to experiment, companies that don't embrace failure, they eventually get in a desperate situation where the only thing they can do is kind of make a kind of Hail Mary bet at the end of their corporate existence." Sounds very Meta, Jeff.
I looked at this comment and was like, 'Who the heck posted this?' and was like, 'Hey! That's me!' lol. I totally forgot I posted this comment
I have noticed that Business man/women are really very diplomatic...They speak something and think something else. They laugh a lot during the conversation to cover their weakness point.
The interviewer was throwing shade the whole time about the stock price because he had vested interest from being an investor but the issue is that he has a scared scarcity mindset because he only sees the current price and thinks Jeff is failing when in reality he's investing his money into taking actions on the long term which includes money in to find the assets that will launche the companies stock price above anything its seen. And now he is the richest man in the world.
The interviewer we are talking about is the Editor in chief of Business Insider. He held the stock through the dot com bubble and the subsequent lean years as well. I think he believes in Bezos but is playing the Devil's advocate like most interviewers do.
Encourage people to be bold. Su forma de pensar es sensacional. Quisiera que Bezos hablara espanol para que mucha gente pudiera entender lo que Bezos sabe.
You can say anything, whether good or bad, about Jeff Bazos, but he should definitely the most surging billionaire of this year...... His ranking skyrocketed into top five this year, from top 30 last year.
Aren V LOL Jealous loser
Jeff has a distinct perspective on life, he is not easily sucked into mainstream way of thinking, but maintain and develop his approach to new things. He is a Bad Genius figure. and i wonder about the book, still.
Very nice man💖 , wish u sir, u progress more and more . Thanks for Amazon services . Myself Shahzeb Sheikh from India.
Yes, the Fire Phone was a failure but I have a feeling in the future, like he said when it goes threw different iterations it will be a major OS contender against Android, IOS, and maybe Windows 10 mobile
Erika Machado Windows Mobile is dead. I'm assuming someday, Amazon will take their place, and compete with Android and iOS.
Nope atleast not yet in 2019

Jeff I think it's nice you help people that are homeless. Enjoy your day, I'm off to the hospital with my son, wish us luck.
Good luck 🙏
Km 5 months ago My son went from working hard on a hay farm to being a package driver for Amazon for one dollar more an hour. He loved it at first but that love quickly wore off. As he kept making his delivery time goals each week, they kept pushing him more and more without any bonuses. It was never good enough. He was working 12 hour shifts. He was exhausted, going up flights up stairs carrying packages daily. The better he was, they more they worked him until he completely gave out. Once he tripped on a step and he was terrified to tell management so he wouldn't get yelled at n get a mark against him or get fired. I cleaned his elbow and super glued his elbow skin together and put butterfly stitches on it send sent him back to work. A year later, after 2 years of no raises, tighter goals to meet, no recognition for safety, and reaching his goals, he gave up n quit.
God something better for him. The lesson most of the time is self worth. Once we become how valuable we are including time, the pursuit should be to fulfill with great passion and great ethics what we are blessed and good at we do: carpentry, electricity, barber, manicurist etc!! If we can work hard for other to earn income almost now days not enough…I am pretty sure we can work for out own selves. Discipline. Enjoy the journey. It’s your story make it beautiful 🦋❤️
Why I laugh every time when he laugh. His smile is so contagious 🤣 Now I know whom about talk Jim Carrey when he made fun to billionaires laugh
This interviewer was Busting Jeff's Balls...Fantastic.
one mush have passion, he is..
Bezos is an incredible entrepeneur!
Investment is a trade off between risk and profit. Amazon isn't risky because they spend all their money on R&D. (This can be argued). But really why you invest in Amazon is because you want relatively low risk long term gains. The sum of profit in the short term is not equal to profit in the long term.

I am an artist. And certain things are not always apparent to me at first glance. Theres always a process that can be uncovered through trial to replicate a piece that's been produced . It's not impossible at that point to solve if its worth the spark.
