C'est ce qui est génial avec les dogues de Bordeaux : la plupart du temps ce sont de gros patapoufs pas trop téméraires... ^^ La première fois que j’en ai rencontré un (ou plutôt une) c’était chez des amis de mes amis que je n’avais jamais rencontré auparavant. On avait été invités à prendre un café chez eux. Leur chienne était impressionnante (elle devait avoir 5 ans) et une grosse baveuse. En moins d’un quart d’heure elle n’arrêtait pas de se coller à moi. Sa maîtresse n’était pas trop contente à cause des traces de bave qu’elle laissait sur mon pantalon et semblait vraiment désolée. Je lui ai dit que ça ne faisait rien parce qu’on était en fin de journée et que je n’avais pas de projet particulier pour la soirée... je lui ai littéralement servi de serpillière mais elle était vraiment adorable !

These dogs are my fav breed, they are strong they know it, thats why they never bark, or get into silly park fights, they dont have anything to demonstrate. They are gentle souls that only attack if their pack is under menace or if he sees that they can in real danger. Perfect protection dog. A loving face, gentle with smaller creatures than him, but dont be mistaken, If you put a hand on the owner, u are pretty done. If he decides to bite you... sorry but you are going straight to the Hospital, with the dog attached still. A wingman and a massive headed loyal friend for live. This is not a Chihuahua caprice. This is the real deal, in the dog world. Is more powerfull than a wolf. So you gonna need to be playfull with him, long walks around nature and challenge him always with toys, u dont need to train him to bite, cos they know they can do harm since they are puppies and play with their sibblings. You have to show him and present things that he barks to, cos if he barks there is something that he dosent understand, like an umbrella in a rainy day. your Dogue is beautiful! I adopted one from Dogue de Bordeaux rescue after my Bullmastiff passed away in 2006. My Beloved Dogue Stanley passed away Januarey of 2013. I have a pitbull she was born at a rescue place, she is soooooooowonderful, I miss the smushy faves of Bullmastiffs, and Dogues!
