  • This is exactly why John cena was my child hood hero, like he said I felt so relatable to him being a kid who didn’t have the most friends, felt weak or weird to be loner, felt like the world was against me but John cena knew how to embrace it and fought for self pride/respect and even when he lost, and kept on losing he never gave up.

  • I love the reflection on his time in WWE. It's clear to me that he wanted to explore that character a whole lot more and maybe had some frustrations with the creative crew that always wanted him to be this perfect, conquering hero. Even Superman has nuance, ya'll.

  • I wasn't a huge Fan of John Cena's until he started making Movies. But now he's one of my favorite actors in Hollywood. I loved him in F9 & Vacation Friends, that movie made me laugh the most I have at a movie comedy in more than 10 years all because of John's character and wife's. Plus The Peacemaker HBO series is my favorite show. Hilarious Show and cast. Season 2 was just okayed 🖤😁

  • The Marine story is very interesting, it says a lot about how WWE always have this crazy ideas to make the product more mainstream and apealing but they always rush it or botch it bc they don't really care and always put the minimum effort if possible trusting the fans will consume it regardless, I'm talking about the creative process and the decision making not about the awesome performers or the technical staff that simply is way too good for WWE.

  • Man, it's weird how long ago he started. I remember 2003, I bought this WWE game, I don't remember the name but I do know it was the last game they released before the Smackdown VS Raw series. I must've been 12 or 13 at the time, and I didn't know anything about WWE, it just looked cool and I wanted to get into it. I was playing the game with a friend of mine who had watched WWE his whole life and he was ranting and raving about this newbie who got added to the game roster named John Cena; My friend excitedly rattled off his backstory as a veteran and rapper. I can't believe that was 19 years ago.
