Must see: Last night on Real Time, Bill Maher appeared to destroy this guy. I am looking forward to his response.
I love how he wears peacemaker outfit everywhere he goes. Now this is what I call dedication.
Who does?
otherwise you can't see him.
He literally wears it everywhere
Maybe it’s actually really comfy lol and he doesn’t wanna take it off
nah its just called press junket. a 1 day thing
Can we appreciate that John Cena has been wearing the peacemaker uniform for a year now for most of his media appearances
Uh no we can’t. He is a communist sympathizing sellout who deserves to have Winnie the Pooh whisper sweet nothings into his ear.
@@sphincter3132 China is just as capitalist as the US is, you dork. It just has more government intervention than the asinine levels of the US. This is not to excuse their crimes against humanity, but they aren't communist, regardless of what the party calls themselves.

It's not really a surprise, but it's still so nice to hear him talk about his roles. He's so well-spoken, and a lot more introspective than people would probably imagine him to be.
Hear who? I don’t see anyone?
I’d be cool if we could see him and not just a grey background

He's not a heel, he's a face that took a vow and seeks peace... No matter how many men, women, and children he has to kill to get it.
I have to admit, James Gunn, The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker have really got me rooting for DC. I respect and appreciate the adult style comic book stories. Making rated R opens up realistic art.
I'm just happy they're allowing Gunn to have complete creative control on his projects, we need more of that in the industry

As a wrestling fan/journalist, I appreciate that John Cena kept giving wrestling its credit for helping him grow as an actor. In society, wrestling is looked down upon when a lot of time, it drives a lot of the culture and talent that we see on a large level even now. Seeing John in this acting space is beautiful…
Very kind of you. 🙂
I'm surprised no trolls or bots commented here.
Yeah, it's like theatre but with big muscley men coreographic an intense dance
John's acting career is just getting started.. he's got plenty of iconic characters too come trust me
I hope he plays Susan Storm in MCU.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
John cena should play dababy in dababy documentary
I trust you, random dumbass fanboy.
*to come
Just getting started? His entire WWE career has been acting, and he’s been doing movies for many years now. It’s not at all getting started, he’s just getting more spotlight for his non WWE roles.
_The Marine_ is probably *the best action B movie* I've ever watched. The pacing, the set pieces, the explosions... it's a thrill ride.
Basically the pitch was Terminator but it’s Jooooohn Ceeeeenaaaaaa
Literally watched it once and all I remember is John Cena in cargo shorts
I saw it when it came out as a kid just because Cena was my hero, and I still come back to it. Pure dumb unadulterated fun.
Still my favorite movie that he was in .
I loved 'The Marine'.
He is a remarkably well spoken and thoughtful person. I feel like John has a way of stripping away artifice.
He loves China, and you must too!
I’d hope he’d be well spoken considering he’s been in the spotlight since 2002.

Crazy how u said your gonna see him wearing the costume
@@Kashmoneygodzilla dead joke
The thing about Cena?! He's PROBABLY the BEST human being, of any celebrity I can think of. That dude has visited more children's hospitals than anyone thats had a camera on him. That dude SINGLE HANDEDLY made the WWE start recognizing "Breast Cancer Awareness Month", and had them change their ring ropes to pink for the occasion. He's getting to be a better actor by the minute. But even without that... Cena is a GOOD PERSON! And that deserves respect! 💯

Random topic, but since Dwayne Johnson is Black Adam and since John Cena is Peacemaker, it’d be great to see them both share the same screen somehow. Lol Two WWE stars as DC characters on the same screen would make it full circle again.
Fast & Furious first.
@@shadowguy20004 I'd much rather see their first on screen appearance together as their DC characters tbh. The recent Fast movies are...alright for me. But it'd be cool to see them share the same screen in any movie regardless.
I have nothing but full respect for this man. He seems like he understands life. All the ups and downs, his failures and how to move forward in a positive way. I’m glad he’s been a role model to me
He's so loyal to his WWE roots. It's apparent, how it was just the right place to start for him.
You’re forgetting his best role as Mitch in the classic comedy Blockers.
It's great that GQ's interviewing the great wrestling legend, but we cannot see him. It's impossible to just watch a chair talking for 10 minutes.
What a funny new joke! 😐
Absolutely loved the bit where he talked about the audition process and how scary it can be. For someone like him with so much cache to his name to feel that way for a movie is so crazy for me. Also, he's terrific in "Peacemaker", totally owns the role

My man, Cena is actually a genius, no wonder how he retained "the man" card in the business for such a long time!
For 15 freaking years. Respect.
I'm really happy for him with Peacemaker. He's found his lane, and within that lane, John is a more than capable actor who can play a compelling, interesting character with depth and conflict and it's really cool to see that for him.
I love that John is taking the Fred “Rerun” Berry approach to his role as Peacemaker and wear the costume everywhere.
I love with how much honesty he speaks... Like the part were he talked about being in a superhero movie just so it interests the audience to check out his other works... I love John Cena.. ❤️

You should also watch 'Vacation friends' another comedy movie, he was so funny in it.
I love how much he enjoys being peacemaker, he takes any chance to put that costume on 😂 love him man
When the series was first announced, I honestly rolled my eyes. Especially since The Suicide squad hadn’t release yet. I always saw “John Cena” and never as the character he was acting as. With the series being over, all I can say is WOW John. His performance has honestly amazed me. I’m very interested in where his career goes after this and what he does with peacemaker.
So basically you decided something was going to be bad before seeing it? Guess you never adapted the "dont judge a book by its cover".

He seems like such a talented professional. He's going to turn up with an annotated script in hand and his lines learnt.
What about John's memorable cameo in Sisters? Brief, but hilarious!
As a kid I loved John Cena, my late mother got me the USA champ belt and everything. Much love to the character on wwe and him as a person 👌👌
The way John appreciates and views the evolution of the Fast & Furious franchise is perfect, that's how it should be. It evolved as it should have. I love it.
I think John has tons of potential. I really love his delivery of sarcastic comedy and hope he leans into that in some future characters.

I've never seen a wrestling match but this guy is just pure, unadulterated awesome. Seems super genuine and just fun to be around.
It's so good to see how grateful and humble he is. Humble people deserve their success.

Man, he's so smart, I've always respected John Cena
He really is a gem of a person: thoughtful, funny, and humble.
John Cena is the man, big fan since his WWE days and great to see him doing well in Hollywood, he was amazing as Peacemaker in Suicide Squad 🙌👏
I love John Cena. He was my childhood in WWE and now he’s evolved with the media to be present in my adolescence with television now that i dont watch wrestling anymore.
Cena wearing his Peacemaker costume just like his own ring gear in WWE
John is starting to become one of my favourite actors. So easy to watch and he adds great comedy to his acting. Peacemaker is a great show, highly recommend it 😅
This is exactly why John cena was my child hood hero, like he said I felt so relatable to him being a kid who didn’t have the most friends, felt weak or weird to be loner, felt like the world was against me but John cena knew how to embrace it and fought for self pride/respect and even when he lost, and kept on losing he never gave up.
man, John Cena is truly one of the most authentic, honest, humble and down to earth people on this planet. For someone that powerful, that is amazing
I hope Peacemaker's success inspires WWE to finally let him be a Heel-ish character he wants and is the most entertaining at.
Such a grateful dude. JC deserves all of his success .
I grew up so much on John Cena... Dude has so much heart and fight in him. As long as there's still breath in him, he'll keep fighting, and it's good to see him as the one and only peacemaker Edit: back in 2008, we wanted rock vs cena Years later we got it ☺️
I'm an absolute fan of John Cena now, he is just so amazing and transcendent in his role as Peacemaker. I reckon I could watch the whole series several times in a row and still find it funny and heartfelt. :)
I love the reflection on his time in WWE. It's clear to me that he wanted to explore that character a whole lot more and maybe had some frustrations with the creative crew that always wanted him to be this perfect, conquering hero. Even Superman has nuance, ya'll.
I wasn't a huge Fan of John Cena's until he started making Movies. But now he's one of my favorite actors in Hollywood. I loved him in F9 & Vacation Friends, that movie made me laugh the most I have at a movie comedy in more than 10 years all because of John's character and wife's. Plus The Peacemaker HBO series is my favorite show. Hilarious Show and cast. Season 2 was just okayed 🖤😁
I really need to rewatch those movies now with this new perspective on John. I grew up a big fan watching him on wwe and seeing him grow and bloom as an actor is so incredibly satisfying for me personally (I decided to pursue an acting career as well)

Man, Suicide Squad made me notice John and Peacemaker made me love his on screen presence. I’m really looking forward to seeing what moves he makes with this massive exposure 👍
John Cena is the man. And PeaceMaker is a insanely funny and great show. Cena has great comedic timing.
John Cena really understands characterization. I’ve always said wrestlers are good actors literally what they do is theater.
You’ve watched that South Park episode, W.T.F , haven’t you? :P
Man I absolutely have grown to admire and love this man lol. His portrayal of peacemaker brings joy and happiness every episode 🤣!
The Marine story is very interesting, it says a lot about how WWE always have this crazy ideas to make the product more mainstream and apealing but they always rush it or botch it bc they don't really care and always put the minimum effort if possible trusting the fans will consume it regardless, I'm talking about the creative process and the decision making not about the awesome performers or the technical staff that simply is way too good for WWE.
"I'm not exactly somebody who kicks in your front door in Jean shorts and a t shirt" had me💀😂😂
greatest to ever do it, so many childhood memories growing up with John Cena
He needs so many more honest and open interviews like this. I wish he can be in a Hot Ones episode.
I hear him but I just can’t seem to…see him🤔
He is such a well spoken and eloquent man and his voice is so calming I could listen to him talk all day
John Cena is a walking example of 'don't judge a book by its cover'
Hey it's John China, I mean Cheena, I mean Chena...oh you know what I mean.
This dude is well spoken and love the series 👏
Man, it's weird how long ago he started. I remember 2003, I bought this WWE game, I don't remember the name but I do know it was the last game they released before the Smackdown VS Raw series. I must've been 12 or 13 at the time, and I didn't know anything about WWE, it just looked cool and I wanted to get into it. I was playing the game with a friend of mine who had watched WWE his whole life and he was ranting and raving about this newbie who got added to the game roster named John Cena; My friend excitedly rattled off his backstory as a veteran and rapper. I can't believe that was 19 years ago.

The Marine is definitely what started it all for me with Johns first movie 🔥
A mix of comedy and action which I really like. Was a fan of his in the WWE and now the big screen.
I’ve watched all his movies and his professional wrestling career of WWE of John Cena I seen all of them when I was little kid. So John Cena is really great professional wrestler and a great actor.
I’ve loved John Cena since I was 10 years old. I’m 27 now and he’s stared in my new favourite show. What a world we live in.
I’m 26 now and grew up in his era so same!!
I'm 28 and I will always love John Cena, he's the reason I started watching WWE, forever a fan.
What a class act so humble... love his dedication becoming a really good actor. His performance in the wall is really underrated.
I have to say, after watching many of these 'actors talking about iconic roles' videos, this one is in my top fav. John Cena seems to be an individual who truly thinks deeply about, enjoys, respects, and is thankful for the situations & opportunities he has been given.
