CYBERPUNK 2077 Johnny Silverhand Playing Guitar | Ambient Soundtrack
Welcome to Cyberpunk 2077's Night City! This video features one hour of Johnny Silverhand playing guitar for you. The know songs heard here are acoustic versions of PonPon Shit by Namakopuri and Us Cracks, The Beast of Beauclair by Marcin Przybyłowicz and Chippin' In by Refused. I've included three different angles in this video so you can choose whichever view you prefer, or feel free to sit back and enjoy the entire hour! If you'd like to experience this scene for yourself in game here's a guide:
Fast travel to the Kabuki market in Watson. At the circular market go down the stairs to the floor below street level, keep running to the left and you'll get to a garage door just to the right of the stairs to go back up. Now Johnny will pop up and tell you to get inside, enter the pin 605185 and go on in!

STOP MAKING ME EMOTIONAL
It's stuff like this that makes you realize. The developers actually cared. They didn't want the game to end up the way it did. It wasn't their fault.
Nobody talks about Microsoft and Sony pressing for the release, it's easier throwing shit to the game and CD Project.
@@klaymor73 This game is actually amazing (for the people who actually played the whole game). I hope it gets the recognition it deserves, despite the bad launch in console. If not it will end in the list of those games that really deserved a lot, but haters and journalist destroyed a great game without waiting for patchs, they dont forgive, but destroy. I decided to avoid and give the game a try and after 70hrs of playing it, I dont regret enjoying my time with this amazing story and characters
@@carloschavez6958 I've played 381 hours and every time i play i discover a new thing, this game has so many details .... of course the game has some errors but they are fixing it , i hate the driving sistem but as you say this game is amazing, been a long time since the story grab me this way like this.
well for me the game is really good, sure there is some bugs but it's quite an amazing game that will take you to Nice places.
@@klaymor73 It's sad because we will never know. Was it Microsoft and Sony? Probably not. Was some investors getting impatient? Maybe...? Did CDPR board was just too egoistical to see they needed a lot more time? Can't tell.
This game proves the old saying : "You can do thousand things right with no praise, but you will always be blamed for the one thing you did wrong"
It had it's faults but the story and motion capture was incredible, and the character development, top notch.
@@TheSaraphic see, pretty much every game has good and bad side. Let's say the bad side being glitches and bugs for example. I'd personally think that the glitches and bugs weren't as much, but that might be because I played the game like month after release. Anyways, the people that hated the game had their opinions based on the bad side. That is a problem. Why? Because when you're rating a game you can't be biased on either side. If you are biased on good side you'll overhype it. If on the bad side, youll talk about it like it's a generally bad game even though it isn't really. So do you see a problem there? On the start everyone overhyped it, only talking about a good side, but realistically, every game has bad side as well. But because people were only hyped on the good they didn't expect the bad side to be there, and they were shocked when they found out (even though it's pretty much a normal thing) so they were mad and their opinion, again was rotated and they only saw the bad side.
@@dauphongii I'm a realist - the game was already insanely ambitious. It was good enough for me.
I loved the game, but lets be real: it did more than a few things wrong. But its special nonetheless.
@@ocaradovideoehbixa people like to focus on “it has a few bugs. Big deal, a lot of games do!” When this game had a LOT of bad stuff going on in the background than just the game. The game doesn’t “just” have bugs.

Goodbye V, and never stop fighting
Mehn I got so emotional at that part. Like the bumpy journey with Johnny is now over. The game is a buggy mess, but man do the characters and story hit you in the feels.
@@nadnaps1010 The game was totally something more for me. I don't know why, but no game ever has hit me as hard as this one. It wasn't as buggy for me, I very rarely experienced those and... Idk, now that it's over, it's a weird feeling. No game ever previously made such an impact on me, not Witcher 3, no RPG ever. Was it the characters, the depressive tone, or simply the amazing immersion, I don't know. Funny things is... I wasn't hyped for this game at all. I was indifferent, the trailer didn't get to me, I didn't look forward to it. I got it as a birthday gift from my girlfriend, if not for that, I probably wouldn't have played it for a year or so. And I am very happy that it happened how it happened, because I am absolutely in love in this game. I was totally immersed in this game and I loved every single moment I was in the Night City. I know there are DLCs coming, but... It's been a wild ride. And now it's over.
@@Magnus8434 yeah, for me its the best game ive ever played, I even bought clothes with cyberpunk logos on it XD
I always love reading some positivity for this game! I felt the same. It might be the most immersive experience I've had in a game ever. All of the characters are so incredibly well written and performed, it's really so beautiful! I hope people come to see that one day.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of my favorite games but it's true that it's a unfinished masterpiece. I hope that with story patches and dlcs we'll get a better experience. It's true that the game isn't that buggy like everyone says the only thing is that they could extend the story somewhat more. It's true that there initially were five main storylines Takemura's, Judy's, Panam's and two other ones that were cut out of cyberpunk 2077 for some reason (It's true if you look in the game files) I hope they add them in the future. I would all liked more interesting characters that that you can romance or even just interesting characters you know what I mean like Judy, panam, River and Kerry.
"Say this had a gravestone, here lies Johnny Silverhand..." "The guy who saved my life." "You don't know how much I wish that was true."
I prefer “the rocking Rock Star!” Or “Night city legend!”
Also picked that one as well, because it is somewhat true. The chip brought V back and also brought them time, even if Johnny had no say in it.
“No johnny you fucked that up too”
I think Johnny doesn't like either of those. Call him a Night City Legend for what? Blowing 2 thermonuclear charges in a civilian space and killing possibly tens of thousands of people. The guy who save my life, actually depicts Johnny saving a life instead of ending or ruining one.
@@attackontitanfollower If you pick the options in OP's post you increase your relations with Johnny to get his secret ending.
Is anyone going to talk about how his actually animated strumming the right chords and notes and shapes, doing full chords, barchords, fingerpicking, the attention to detail is crazy
Love that little detail, it's such a shame the bugs and all overshadowed this type of stuff.
I bet Keanu was mo-capped playing a guitar.
Lord Xtheth probs not Keanu because that means he’d have to learn how to play guitar for the role, likely motion captured a guitarist, still have to sync, match it up and model a guitar with accurate fret boards and adjust the motion capture post to hit all the right spots, lotta effort most games just have random strumming to the music
I wish more people looked at what is in this game as opposed to what went wrong. I've loved Cyberpunk 2077 from day 1. I'm on my 4th play through. I'm still enjoying it immensely. I don't play guitar and therefore didn't notice this at all, but it goes to show how much love the devs did put in, showing they wanted to make the best game they could.
@@thesciencer1 Dude, Keanu time travelled alongside Alex Winters to learn guitar so they could play the song to unite the world. Learn your history mate!

Its like a small percentage of video games where gameplay doesn't mean much. (thats why I didn't care about bugs) Like Max Payne series. I almost felt same feelings. Just go for a ride. It's a hell of a big town, and there's a certain amount of chill in just sightseeing.
Something i noticed in my first playthrough is that the game pretty much actively pressures you to do a lot of the main story missions in a row. While on the surface seems kinda like how the game should do it to keep you in the story, knowing V dies at the end no matter what makes you realize that choice was to make you realize you gotta slow down in life. Rushing to the end cuts your time short so fast. You can finish the game around level 20 but the level cap is at 50. If you dont slow down you miss so many moments in the game and honestly, i think it's a nice life lesson as well. You dont know where you're going in the game. First run-throughs leave you in a situation of unknowing whats going to come next and before you know it V is on their death bed and its over So much of the game is almost purposefully left to be skipped because if you dont take your time you'll miss most of it and like wise in real life. Whens the last time you just sat and enjoyed something as simple as someone playing guitar for you pr helped someone on the street just because you could. The rush of life just leads us to death faster. Take your time. Enjoy it. Love yall
I went straight for the end and completed it fairly quickly - as I tend to do with any game since I usually play linear level-to-level games. I didn't like the ending I got though, so when I was put back to an earlier save I've spent at least another 20 hours walking around, completing tons of quests, taking down enemies and just driving around.
I did miss some side quests with Jackie and I love this comment
The edgerunners anime perfectly represents that
Year after my first play through I'm now doing a new netrunner playthrough. Doing all the side missions and gigs the moment they become available and before progressing with the main missions. Think I already had 20 intelligence when I did the arasaka heist. Feels great just walking through that entire tower just offing corpo soldiers with nothing but a thought. "suicide". "synapses burnout". "short circuit". Repeat.
Yeah, this game is basically "Existentialism Simulator, Ultimate Edition"
As a guitarist I appreciate the detail they put into getting the fingering correct. They didn't have to, but they did.
I mean it's definitely just motion captured of a guy actually playing it. It's cool but it's not exactly revolutionary anymore.

He's even tapping his foot lol. What a pro
Gotta keep with the tempo
Everyone's talking about finger placement and chords, but that sliding sound when Johnny moves his hands? Damn that's detail
My guess is they had someone improv something and recorded the audio from that

Honestly more heartbreaking than Edgerunners. Johnny, the man lost to the world, stuck in some Solo’s head and killing him without a single way to stop it. When he finally has a moment to forget it all, he strums some chords and does his best to Never Fade Away. I don’t care what anyone says, I bought this game at launch and I’ve always loved it. I’d rank the story right up there with the RDR series. Bravo to Project Red.

this video always makes me think about the dystopic and chaotic world of cyberpunk, where V has a literal timer on life and does the killing and slicing of others to get answers. then comes a construct living in your head and sings at the guitar. an oasis of serenity and calm in that chaos. this is so comforting to me that i listen to this when i feel like i lose control over my life, just sitting back, relaxing, thinking of stuff, placing stuff in order.
I just finished this game recently and I fell in love with it. I never once thought about this as just a game I truly felt like V and felt the emotions and feelings of the actions I made and how those impacted the characters around me. Now after finishing it I feel like something’s missing because it truly was like I was there living in NC with Johnny talking shit in my head and being the best friend of my life. When it ended and Johnny left I was deeply saddened and felt like I lost a part of myself. Idk maybe I’m weird but this game felt like more then just a game it felt like a whole other life I lived and I loved that feeling. And remember never stop fighting.

I know most people say the best ending is where you leave with panam and your romance partner but I think the best ending is where you let Johnny take over V's body he kinda deserves to be alive both of them do but V's gonna die anyways unless there's a dlc where he's cured.
Spoilers: I agree! Although I guess it depends on the relationship you end up forming with Johnny. In my first playthrough he and V grew pretty close, I think she'd rather let him live out the rest of her life a changed man than just have them both erased from the face of the earth in 6 months. I love the thought of providing him a second chance to start over.
@@SlowWalkthroughs yeah in my play through I did the storm arasaka by yourself ending and then let Johnny take over. I don't like that people die in the nomad ending, but they all decided to help you, you are welcomed to the Aldecaldos and they would all die for each other. Johnny doesn't want a body that doesn't belong to him, it's even worse because he literally has to run away from everything, Rogue straight up hates him, Panam literally wants to look for him and kill him. It's the best ending, yes, people die, but they knew the risks and they would risk everything for family
@@disconuts315 you have a point and I agree with you but even if he doesn't want the body he deserves a second chance. If you befriend Johnny he learns the error of his ways. I think he deserves another chance at life besides v is just gonna die anyways.

Yep, of course! Great suggestion too, I'll let you know when it's ready
@@SlowWalkthroughs thanks man I appreciate :)
@@SlowWalkthroughs if I could give a suggestion, if possible keep some of the water flowing noise in the background of Kerry's yacht song. There's a video like that already, but the water overrides the guitar a bit.
@@jackandcoffee1145 Yep! I'm almost finished with the video, and I did have to turn down the sfx so the music is more audible. I also added a second half without any sound effects, similar to this video, that way I'm hoping everyone can get the version they'd like. Thanks for the suggestion, too!
@@SlowWalkthroughs awesome, can't wait to hear it!
Play it again... Johnny Guitar...
this game was Legend anybody that tells you otherwise is full of ...
I play Female V since I relate. I sat on that chair for 30 minutes. Away from the crazyness and this was just V appreciating this & soaking it all in one. Truly humanizing. Thank you for the video🤘🏼
Female V too I see mine as the type to play the guitar once awhile playing stuff from the 60s 70s 80s and 90s classic rock mostly
CP77 was a massive project and i still think that Red's did awesome job
I use this to fall asleep it’s so peaceful.
It's the little things Projekt Red, and we are here to see them all
J-Johnny please don't forget me on the black wall because ı miss you so much bro :(
The fact that his hands are animated doing the right things when playing the guitar is amazing to me. Damn, everything in this game is so perfect and subtile.
Johnny Silverhand, a man who couldn't stay dead even if he wanted to. Loved this game.
I usually forget a game after a month or two of playing it but cyberpunk is still stuck in my head i finished it almost 6 months ago and i still always think about it
Same here
I cried when I lost my soul and Johnny took over. And left Night city. And people are calling me to see if im ok but im not. Im dead :'(
And he put the necklace from Misty in a grave saying he'd never forget V, "I've got your fucking face". And on V's grave he has "dreamer" as the inscription. Also, if you look in the mirror before leaving the apartment he says "Oh, V..." So sad, made me cry, too. I haven't played the game in a while now, but I still remember the three endings I did. I stopped when I did the suicide one because it was just so heartbreaking. I mean, I expected it to be bad and hurt, but I didn't expect to hurt so much. Getting yelled at by Panam and a romanced Kerry, seeing and hearing Judy break down into a panic attack and hang up, Misty, River, and Vic talking to you and hurting but understanding... That shit hit hard. I still need to go back and do the corpo and secret endings. I will, eventually.
@@GeneralHonobi to be fair Johnny probably will have plastic surgery to look like himself again. Atleast he mentions this if you gave him your body and your V was female
*everyone vibing listening to the beautiful ambiance* Johnny S: “MF PONPON SHIT”
i dont care what haters say, i love cp77. played at launch and playing it now....still a fucking great game and world.
i'm in love with this man
One year after completing the game, you still feel the excitement when you hear this music...
"A thing of beauty will never fade away."
this is going to sound dumb but me playing the game all the way till the end brought me to a bond with johnny. and having him leaving your head forever and v being removed form his body and the music and stuff legit brought a tear to my eye
That's not dumb I get it
who the hell knew Pon Pon Shit was even better when played like that lol
We need a prequel featuring 3 main character stories and their relation with each other : The Prick,The Rogue and The Human AI.With a lot of gigs, sidequests and Silverhand fuck ups thrown into the mix. Cyberpunk 2023
Seeing more of Morgan Blackhand would be really cool too
A toast for Jackie 🍻
Never stop the good fight Cyberpunk fans, maybe it will take a long time but the game will get it's fixes and dlcs and then everyone will love it, same thing happened with Witcher 3 too
So sad and soothing at the same time, having finished both basegame and DLC. I have this playing once a while in my flat... One time I had it looped in the background while doing something and I got a phonecall, talked for a few minutes and got asked to "tell what is this, whatever you are listening". It's so relatively simple (at moments) and raw but somehow manages to capture many feelings and get stucked in a head, just like... well... biochip'n'stuff. ;) The same goes with Kerry's yacht guitar practices, though I prefer this one.
I love the fact that he plays PONPONSHIT.
“Here lies Johnny Silverhand the man who saved my life” -V
That far ambience shot would make an incredible desktop background
Now if only you had ending option 4, where you and Johnny merge into one super consciousness and go around rocking and blowing up corps.
I platinumed the game and never came across this moment, I really wish I had.
I only found it though a YT video along with most other Easter eggs, the odds of finding it organically when playing the game are very minimal 😕
I still replay this game just to hang out with Johnny.
Thank you Johnny, for keeping me company.
Honestly, I gotta say. I'm obsessed with this game. I truly, genuinely love it. There are very few games that win my heart and stay with me. This game is definitely one I will hold dearly. I ignore how the game was BADLY released and the whole scandal about it. I ignore it. I just focused on the story and I fell in love. The game is still buggy here and there. Some things still are janky. But the story is something that was given genuinely care, love, and effort. You can tell if you've played many games. CD Project Red put in EFFORT for this game and I love that those whom play the game fully understand that and see it. Hats off to everyone who loves this game and who *WORKED* on the game. From the directors, the voice actors, the MOCAP, the... everything. It's all beautiful if you take the time to see it. Thank you to all of you.
I think the only game that kicked me in the feels as hard as Cyberpunk just did was Red Dead 2 😞
guess I will skip playing red dead 2 then. I dunno if I can take that kinda hit again...
Yeah it gave me red dead depression for a awhile.
i felt empty when i finished this game, despite the negative comments towards it, i really do love this world and characters
I just finished the main story line and damm those comments are making me cry so bad
Started to play game in 2023 when Phantom Liberty came out. Oh boy, how great it is! Pretty much in everything. They did this game with love! Exactly the same with Witcher 3. I passed this game in 2019 and it was the Great experience! Best game imho. CD Project one love
Its crazy, when the game came out i found myself coming across stuff like this in game. Specifically there was one npc that would city somewhere in the city center actually playing sick music I've never heard before. But you can follow their fingers to the notes if you pay attention to them. This game did not deserve the wrap it got initially. Truly phenomenal work by everyone involved with the game.
gotta admit, spending the whole game with silverhand and V hating the other and wanting the other gone, BUT the endings requiring a sole survivor with no way to preserve each other - excellent narrative choice.
I cried when, as Johnny, I said my goodbyes to V and Rogue in the cemetery thing
Also love the fact that Johnny playing the cords right on his right hand and not just going up and down
People like to shit on this game because of its rough release and how it was unfinished, but if you take a step back and really look at it, Cyberpunk is the best open world rpg we've gotten in a long time. Just because it didnt live up to the hype doesnt mean its a bad game. Its actually incredible, and i wish people could see that.
Это даже грустно и странно Перед тобой человек, который погиб 50 лет назад ...
You can hear the Us Cracks chorus much easier in this tune.
