  • Hey man thanks for a GREAT VIDEO! I’ve seen the ones being built that don’t have an explanation, but your commentary really adds richness and clarity to what you do. Keep up the great work!

  • This video is going to sell boots. This lasting style has been "shown", but as far as I know not yet "told", on KZhead. Some thoughts on why this is done by hand could make a great part 3!

  • *Thank you for a great video! It was awesome to see how in amazing detail, how your boots are made! I'm just curious how many nails he was holding in his mouth, as he was talking 😅 I was a bit concerned. I mean, how do you do that without swallowing by mistake. He's very talented with lasting!*

  • It must take a bit of practice to get a feel for how tight to pull on the liner and get it just right (around 08:40). Helpful to see these as you go along, thanks

  • Something I have never understood and you never show. How does the last go in, and how do you get it out?

    @ben23232@ben2323219 күн бұрын
    • it goes in from the open underside before you start lasting, and out on the top like a shoe tree.

  • Aren’t machines used during this process now? Is this an old video? It’s the reason why on certain leathers you can see a celastic toe outline through the leather due to being stretched by a machine.
