12:02 “welcome to Jurassic Park” was hilarious from the giant door opening sound.

Thank you for this! This will help me with my own lasting.
Hey man thanks for a GREAT VIDEO! I’ve seen the ones being built that don’t have an explanation, but your commentary really adds richness and clarity to what you do. Keep up the great work!
Love the detailed video. Always appreciated. Thanks you guys
This video is going to sell boots. This lasting style has been "shown", but as far as I know not yet "told", on KZhead. Some thoughts on why this is done by hand could make a great part 3!
this video could not come out on a better time! i am just about to try to try and build my own boots! very informativ and very well explained. Thank you!
Love this! Very informative
*Thank you for a great video! It was awesome to see how in amazing detail, how your boots are made! I'm just curious how many nails he was holding in his mouth, as he was talking 😅 I was a bit concerned. I mean, how do you do that without swallowing by mistake. He's very talented with lasting!*
It must take a bit of practice to get a feel for how tight to pull on the liner and get it just right (around 08:40). Helpful to see these as you go along, thanks
This was a very cool and informative video. Thanks!!
Sure makes me appreciate a craftsman. This looked way to easy for something i just know can't be.
We have a lot of talented boot makers here!
Something I have never understood and you never show. How does the last go in, and how do you get it out?
it goes in from the open underside before you start lasting, and out on the top like a shoe tree.
Is there glue that stays wet between the liner and boot until it’s done?
nope
Aren’t machines used during this process now? Is this an old video? It’s the reason why on certain leathers you can see a celastic toe outline through the leather due to being stretched by a machine.
