Avalokitesvara of Thousand Hands is one of the Four Great Bodhisattvas of Chinese Buddhism. Legend has it that in ancient China there was a girl who helped others all her life and even lost her arms and eyes. His father had been looking for a cure for his daughter. The Buddha touched the girl's actions, Willing to grant a wish of the girl's father, who knew that the girl's father was too old to speak clearly, and said that a pair of arms and a pair of eyes were a thousand arms and a thousand eyes, and the girl had been helping the suffering people since she became a bodhisattva.

Она или он при жизни так переживала за окружающих существ и старалась помочь, что от боли раскололась голова и руки разорвались. Будда это видел и дал гуаньинь 4 головы и 1000 рук. На каждой руке глаз, чтобы видеть все страдания мира. Этот ансамбль из видео очень известен в китае. Все участники глухонемые.

I’ve seen a few different performances of this piece and no matter where I am or the time of day, within the first 30 seconds, tears begin streaming down my face. They don’t stop until the performance ends. This is such infinite and eternal beauty.
