  • To be very honest, Haak did not play her best today and same with Egonu. Plummer played a bigger role in helping Imoco win the deciding set. Despite playing together for a long time, the Orro--Egonu connection is not very good. I said this previously, but Guidetti and Santarelli are the best at managing top stars like Haak, Vargas, Boskovic, and Egonu compared to Milano coach. Malual surprised me the most with her serve. She deserved more time on court this season.

    • She did. Haak scored 9 points in 1st set, and 10 points in 2nd set. You only said that because you are focusing on the 5th set which Imoco won’t be there if Haak didn't fire during the 1st Three sets. Plummer played well mostly in the 5th set but before that set, she didn't. Haak's attack rate is 42% while Plummer got 43% which only became high during 5th set. One thing for sure is, Egonu played her worst game in her career with 27% Attack Rate.

    • Absolutely agree about the young Malual, despite the lack of international experience her input (here and in the semis, as well) has been important. Being an opposite, she is in direct competition with Egonu, but in the upcoming she can only improve

  • Vabbè..alla fine..come doveva essere...ci sono però delle particolarità😉! La prima è che è una dolce serata: il volley europeo parla italiano (grande Trento❤️), e 'ntruculu alla frangia estremista dei cari amici turchi e polacchi, grazie amici, grazie, tutto questo è per voi😘; secondo: più che gli opposti, credo che nel set5 soprattutto( ma in genere) siano stati i martelli a fare la serata (arduo compito per le sostitute in arrivo),da ambo le parti, incluso il punto finale🤣; terzo...Robin😍, nel giorno del tuo addio e del tuo compleanno, superi una certa Paolona nel record di segnature in quel di Conegliano e ti regali un bel primato, in una squadra già leggendaria: c'è una sola "Queen" in Conegliano e nel mio cuore..ti seguiro, se potrò...e poi non so..restano da fare i complimenti a Milonza, ha comunque implementato la sua storia ma davanti c'era la belva, mai doma🙄

    • Ciao Fabio, hai visto azzeccato il pronostico GRANDE SLAM (aspettiamo solo i campionati mondiali per Club)😅, per il resto hai scritto bene, rispetto ai Playoff effettivamente, per me, l'MVP doveva andare a Plummer... da segnalare anche i tanti errori di Conegliano (a mio avviso non bella come nei playoff). Milano non ha saputo approfittarne... e si sà Conegliano non perdona... Una meznione speciale alla Fahr infortunata....

    • Imoco wouldn’t have been there in the 5th set if Haak hadn’t fired during the 1st Three Sets. Haak was the core before the 5th set and Plummer did her job in the 5th set.

  • Complimenti ad entrambe. A Milano manca ancora qualcosa per essere una formazione schiacciasassi come Conegliano. Ma in ogni caso per lei questa CL è stata utile.

    • Sono d'accordo, paradossalmente (?) l'anno scorso contro Monza/Milano, Conegliano ha dovuto conquistare il campionato con le unghie e con i denti, forse come mai prima... Questa finale è stata equilibrata (al contrario di Trento) e certo per Milano l'esperienza è preziosa, dopo tutto sempre Conegliano alla 1^ finale di CL (giocando pure in casa!) aveva perso con il Vakif e come anche la 2^ con IG Novara

  • primera vez que veo a egonu jugando mal en un partido decisivo desde las olimpiadas de Tokio. Para ser justos antropova tuvo una mejor temporada que egonu y merece ser titular. En mi opinion plummer debió ser la mvp.

    • Antropova played with Ognjenovic (who is still good at 40 years old). Egonu did not play like she used to but Orro's sets for her were so bad (not high enough or on the other side of the net...).

  • Logica vittoria di Conegliano: come avevo spiegato, l'unica al di sopra di tutte in Italia e in Europa. Tempo di bilanci. Conegliano, ovviamente 10; Scandicci 8, prima volta in finale scudetto; Novara 8, coppa europea e vittoria storica con l'Imoco; Chieri 8, coppa europea; Milano (Monza) 5, anche quest'anno budget stratosferico e nessuna vittoria.

    • @@jakasutisnalol. I love Plummer but you got to check her game during the 1st Four Sets. She wasn’t firing until the 5th set. Plummer got a 43% Attack Rate but it just became better in the 5th set. Imoco wouldn’t be fighting in that 5th set if Haak wasn’t firing in the previous sets.

    • Nope. Vargas chokes against big guns. She did last year against Paola and Vakifbank. She'd bow to Haak and Plummer.

    • Not this season. Fenerbache needs to win against Milano first in order to say that. Fenerbache didn't pass Milano while Milano never won their 5 matches against Imoco this season.

  • Результат без сенсации. Сенсация, что для победы понадобился тай брейк. Милано с Паолой Эгону были неубедительны и пять сетов объяснить можно только несобранностью Конельяно, может быть, в следствии легкого первого сета. Ну как бы там не было - всем спасибо! Ждем Олимпиаду.

  • Didn't watch the game but Egonu needed better sets than those if you want her to score 40 points like she did last year. If Orro doesn't do better then they'll still not win anything next season

    • NO. Lol, Egonu had her good sets but she just kept making mistakes. You didn't watch the game? Lol. She literally made 3 Attack Errors in a row and almost caused the 2nd set.

    • I watched the game, reception was bad, Orro couldn't do much but her sets for Egonu were always not high or fast enough. Hope Bernardi and Velasco could help them improve in the national team...

  • È andata come doveva andare, vittoria meritatissima della squadra che ha dominato questa stagione. Un appunto sull'MVP... Io adoro Haak e la reputo nettamente la migliore al Mondo nel suo ruolo, ma ho sempre sostenuto che i punti più che contati vanno pesati. E stasera quelli di Plummer nel tie-break sono stati vere e proprie mazzate sulle residue speranze di Milano. Quindi, scusa Bella, ma stasera per me MVP è stata Plummer.

    • All of the Imoco players played better today. But Haak was just unstoppable during the previous sets. She was on a 53% Attack Rate before the 4th/5th set. While Plummer was on a 30+% Attack Rate. I think Haak deserves this MVP after all the hard work in Semifinals, Quarter Finals, and throughout the season. Still, a great job to Plummer in the 5th set.

    • @@manjulawijewardhana She distributed the ball well in this match, so she could be up for an MVP title. But I think the reason is she’s not happy with Haak’s performance during the 4th set.   • Haak, Egonu, Boskovic, Antropova simply have too many service errors, how much damage Malual did in this match, the serve does not have to be with all the power to do damage, only Vargas has a regular and effective jump serve. When these four start serving effectively 🤔

  • Una pena que ese tecnico seguira en milano la siguiente temporada. Todo iba tan mal desde el inicio cuando coloco a dalderop para comenzar. Realmente una campaña desastrosa. Y milano seguira de la misma forma la siguiente temporada porque no anunciaron grandes refuerzos en OH y además necesita urgentemente una segunda armadora.

  • Siate un po' umili: l'affermazione "L'Italia è di gran lunga il campionato più difficile del mondo" è un'affermazione davvero inverosimile. Nasce la lega professionistica statunitense che comincia a saccheggiare le squadre di medio livello in Italia. Ne comprò alcuni anche dalla Turchia. Quest’anno, le squadre di medio livello hanno acquisito un notevole potere nel campionato turco. La mia opinione è questa; Sembra che quest'anno il campionato turco farà un ulteriore passo avanti. Aspettiamo e vediamo. Oltretutto; In Turchia: "Chi paga può fischiare". C'è un proverbio: l'Italia e il mio paese Türkiye fanno questo. Ma se il campionato nazionale non è ai massimi livelli, questi giocatori non andranno, ad esempio, in Polonia, il paese dell’arrogante Joanna Wołosz, anche se pagassero. (Amo moltissimo la Polonia) La mia opinione è questa: sì, il campionato italiano è al primo posto. Il campionato turco è al 2° posto. Ma vi chiedo questo: Se escludiamo giocatori e legionari stranieri, il campionato italiano, il campionato turco, il campionato brasiliano, il campionato russo, il campionato statunitense, ecc. Se dovessimo stilare una classifica, dove si troverebbe l’Italia? Ad esempio, il campionato italiano attualmente non partecipa alle Olimpiadi. Se qualcosa dovesse andare storto e la Nazionale italiana non si qualificasse alle Olimpiadi (cosa che non vorrei, sarebbe triste), "cara Italia, dove sei nel mondo?" loro chiedono.. Inoltre, ciò di cui abbiamo parlato sono i risultati attuali. C’è una giovane generazione in Turchia che giocherà a pallavolo per 10 anni, e questo causerà molti problemi a tutti i paesi per i prossimi 10 anni. Non so cosa succederà dopo...

    • Did you rather prefer the 1st final match Trento-Jastrzebski 3-0 (another Italian team winning, how strange!😳) and losing team straight back home? Paradoxically, sport may be unpredictable and inexplicable, I think Monza/Milan was stronger last season with Jordan Thompson and no Egonu yet but this year has made to reach CL final match. Seems also next season Gaspari will be replaced by Lavarini, back from Fenerbahce
