Join us for our first Atlantic crossing as a team - lots of cooking, teak scrubbing and fun as we cross from Palma, Mallorca to West Palm Beach, Florida. Typically this time of year yachts actually cross the other way, getting ready for summer in the Mediterranean - but not us! We're headed off the beaten path this year, woohoo!
How ever much you’re being paid, you deserve more. The amount of work you do is incredible. From baking your own bread to making your own ice cream. Feeding 12 guests and 14 crew breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. Creating flavoured butters. Thinking of new menus each day. Provisioning. Cleaning. It feels like it’s non stop. I’m exhausted just watching. I truly hope the crew, guests and the yachts owner all appreciate just how lucky they are to have you! I’m addicted to your channel and have been binging for 3 days since I found it! Guuuuurl, you rock!!!
As someone, who has always been more interestered in the logistics of saling yachts, than the actual "luxury lifestyle", I just LOVE your channel - please, keep it up.
I am curious, who paid for all diesel fuel? 3000+ miles! LOL, that is a lot of juice
@@paulcolburn3855 $350,000 just to rent this thing for a week. So i'm sure that helps pay for a lot
Likewise. I could give a shit about the luxe aspects, including the guests, but behind the scenes and logistics are fascinating.
I have a feeling that this channel is going to take off. It's got everything we want: travels, oceans, foods, and a personable KZheadr.
Yes.. she has a very good personality..
You may have watched her other videos which are also outstanding; same good humor, good natured bantering back and forth with teammates, especially one fortunate lad, and even some of the U.S. National parks in the west. If not, consider doing that to become insanely jealous like the rest of us. It was especially nice to see the time-lapse sequences of prepping and cooking meals, cleaning the kitchen and related spaces, helping understand how much is involved in planning for such lengthy cruises away from land. Oh, to be fabulously wealthy and cruise from port to port with such a lively and fun crew. (cue Tevya's "If I were a rich man..." from Fiddler on the roof)
Yeah totally agree. 44k subs inc me now 🙌🍀🚀
@@PaulDeuchar 50k first video I’ve seen
I so agree, only watch a couple so far, but these guys are living their best life.
I’m disabled, and I just wanted to say that your videos are an awesome distraction from the hospital stays and various pains. Please keep uploading videos of your adventures, it gives me a determination to someday be able to do the same. Thank You!!!
Good attitude. Best of luck to you!
I wish you strong days and better health, I was in the hospital for months and I know how much this helps, it keeps the dreams alive, take care
The logistics involved in feeding the guests and crew - from provisioning to storage to preparation and delivery - are mindblowing. You have a great talent for keeping it all going smoothly.
Then you think about a Aircraft Carrier that has thousands of people on board.
@@Wisdomisgood448 A lot more cooks, and lots of burgers, beans and tater-tots ! :)
it's so nice to see someone enthusiastic about cleaning and organising. You show that there is a value to everything that most people moan as chores.
One lucky crew to have you cooking for them. Talk about spoiled. Can’t wait to see what you serve charter guests.
I have to agree enthusiastically, having seen her other videos, which I recommend. Evidently well trained as a chef, not just a cook, she whips up scrumptious victuals of all kinds, healthy snacks, ethnic favorites as well as universal favorites with lots of options for toppings, sides, etc., etc., with charm and good humor, as you can see by this video.
Incredible video! Thank you for putting this channel together. As a chef on land, I highly respect chefs who work on yachts, it's an art form! The crew meals look better than most restaurants make!
Always trust a chef, who is up for cheering up the crew.
I'm so glad I found your channel! So laid-back and stress-free, yet informative and a great look into the world of life on board for all the crew. Thanks
This looks like authentic and lovely version of below deck. Love your channel💕❤️
I was expecting these boats to have build in storage contraptions that can deal with heavy seas and prevent stores from flying around. Seeing her build her own shelving and having to tie things down suprized me. I guess it gives every chef the chance to do it their way.
Some boat have storage that holds supplies securely. Some don't. Some boats get modifications/improvements after cruising for months or years.
Let's face it - Below Deck brought a bunch of us to this channel, and we can't get enough of either of them.
Is that a YT channel?

I must add my thanks for uploading your videos to the voluminous appreciative comments you've gotten, and I predict a wonderful future for you, given what we see here of your energy, enthusiasm and good humor, on top of your obvious culinary skills. Oh, to be a passenger, or crew for that matter, on any vessel on which you serve. The time-lapse portions were well done, giving a good sense of the amount of work involved in prepping, cooking, serving and cleaning up for meals and snacks, without taking nearly as long. Having a clock in view helps appreciate how time was flying, indicating how much fun you were having.
I've seen your other videos and recommend them highly, as well, including your RV travels to various U.S. national parks, since they brought back some especially pleasant memories of my own visits, and re-kindled my desire to visit others, such as King's Canyon. You hiked to Angel's Landing, in fact, which is considered one of the most "exciting" (i.e., frightening, terrifying, or similar characterizations) hikes in the country, and you did show a few views from that hike, but not too many. I can understand not showing too many lest you deter others from doing it, from what I've read and heard about it, but it may have been too nerve-wracking to video while hiking along parts of that trail, along a very narrow tip of a rocky ridge, almost straight down on both sides. Wild!
You must have made your parents extremely proud of you for everything that you do, for the way that you are, life shines from you. Keep going and make the most of all the good things that will no doubt present themselves to you. Keep life fun!
Always so amazed by how incredibly organized you are.
Its called being good at what you do, anything other than being 'incredibly organised' in this environment, is called chaos and has concequences. So, as a former chef, I am not amazed.
noticed the same
@@harryzero1566 exactly, it's the norm for any actual chef. Being a chef is 30% about the food and the rest is running the kitchen, the staff, and usually the business.
@@JCrook1028 Ive always thought high end catering be it commercial or industrial, should have a chartered status for the person responsible. A chartered chef or catering executive would be professionally qualified and paid accordingly. If chartered chefs and/or catering executives put the public at risk and caused actual bodily harm, they could be stripped of that status. Like a doctor being struck off, a barrister or solicitor being disbarred. Few people have the capacity to operate in a confined pressured environment with tight delivery schedules. I could, but with breaks into other professions, I was also a qualified electrician, a breeze by comparison.
I think you are one of the best superyacht channels on KZhead your videos are concise I'm sure you won't read this cuz it's like four months old but you are the best yacht videos I have seen on KZhead
Professionalism is such a rare and precious commodity. This crew is oozing at the seams with it. The attention to detail is amazing. Were I the owner of a fitting ship, I’d be making offers this crew could not resist.
Fantastic video, One of the best I have seen, Well done you 👏👏👏
Excellent, You're a hard worker and smart. well done keep them coming.
You are doing a wonderful job Chef. keep it up! I have been a chef for nearly 30 years and it is so pleasing to see someone with your enthusiasm and talent continuing the tradition of cooking with love and the injection of fun you bring to your workplace. Thank you!
Excellent video! Your attitude / positivity is refreshing. Your content is so inspiring and makes me smile :-) Looking forward to more. Keep up the good work.
Yay! So glad you posted again! Can’t get enough of your channel!
Having worked aboard for many years, a very well done picture!
Your videos come across as you loving your job and allows us to live vicariously through you! "If you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life." I can make a mean peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and I know our family's banana pudding, but after that, if it's not microwaveable or a frozen meal I can bake in the oven, my kitchen skills are lacking. (Although, the Army did teach me how to clean!) I really wish I knew about the yachting lifestyle when I was a kid; would have totally changed careers. I'm looking forward to your next video, including weather report. WAF! :)
Great presentation ,well done to you all, cheers and bon voyage.
Oho! An imposter!
Now I know what they mean by “buying a yacht is one thing, running it is another”
Was thinking the EXACT same thing.
You ladies are amazing... love your channel.
Wonderful video, thanks for sharing with us. We need a wind-cat (dead cat?) for the microphone, when outdoors. They cost around € 3 and they do magic for wind. Cheers
you are absolutely adorable. thanks for the fun!!
One of the most interesting videos I’ve watched!!!❤️👍
Wow, thanks!
Watching this makes me very happy seeing these ladies perfect their craft. Keep doing what your doing!
I absolutely love your videos. You are funny, interesting, and cook some yummy-looking meals. Can't wait to see your next video.
Love you guys! I simply feed on your energy. Every time you are crossing the ocean, I'm doing it with you. Lots of fun 😀
This was a great video. Always cool to see the amount of work/effort and skilled crew it takes to pull off these voyages.
I’m so happy to find this channel. I’m a big fan of below deck. Watching that I understand a lot of boat Lingo. Can’t wait to watch your Adventures
I LOVE the way you organize all to do a perfect job. You are amazing! Thank you for your videos.
Thanks for posting a lovely video 👍😊Keep it up
Thank you so much for showing these. I love seeing crew life...and the fun.
I absolutely love watching your videos. So much great energy and positive attitude. Also love seeing all of the precision and ingenuity you use. What a pro!!!
Your attention to details is really outstanding (and the whole crew too nonetheless).
Loving the videos. I have no experience what so ever in boats, let alone work on them. So many questions! But for now i'm here to enjoy and learn more. I love the combination boat and food. Have a nice trip and keep them coming!
Another great video, thank you, very lucky crew to have you feeding them. Hope you have a great summer wherever you're going.
Been there, done that, great memories except for running into a hurricane after leaving Bermuda on the way back to Palma, not a lot of fun for a chief engineer when all but two of the crew were seasick :)
Those butters sound and look amazeballs!
Chef and chief morale officer! I love the way you take care of everyone.
Really interesting to see all the work that goes into keeping the yacht going and the crew fed and happy! Got to admit - I'd never heard of smoked butter! All the food looks amazing, really impressed that you can keep food fresh all the way across the Atlantic. Love the enthusiasm and quality of the videos too!
Loved the floury hand print!
All you guys work so hard. It's great to see such attention to detail and joie de vivre!
Absolutely mazing video and what an experience to do that crossing...! I love seeing all the provisioning, prepping and organisation. I am always organising, and reorganising when things don't work quite as I hoped onboard. It is always good to keep on top of things. You bring such an amazing energy and warmth to your videos, it is really lovely to watch!
It's really nice that you show all the work that goes into running the boat!
Great stuff love your down to earth content. Keep em coming please.
What an amazing view out there out in the Atlantic. Amazing what you and the crew do day and night
Brilliant well put together vid. and a fresh spin on crew life - you'll go far and that's not just across the pond !
Stumbled across this, really enjoyed it. Great to see the real side of the yacht crew and what it entails. Time for another upload to watch! 🛳
You are absolutely amazing.
Fantastic video Love it great presentation She's so good!!❤️
Good job on the doccie. Nice to have an insider's view. I crossed the Atlantic on a mega cruise ship with big stabilizers, and that was rough. So, hats off to you guys for managing so well.
love your content. You're a natural on camera and you sweat the production values. Bravo!
I love the fun loving team and the real down to earth presentation. Well done looking forward to your next episode.
The editing of this video is fantastic. Perfect mix of time lapse with normal speed!
I love these videos so much! It's basically everything I wanted but didn't get from Below Deck!
Happy Sunday All! Always so much fun to be on bord with you. I see that you wisely replaced the bungees by way safer straps (SpanSets) and ropes. Thanks for sharing ❤️
deep cleaning . so therapeutic as a chef to have time to do this. stock take on a sunday used to break my balls, 2 hours counting in a freezer was zero fun ! great video, as always
I absolutely love your videos!!! Thank you!!!
I am seriously addicted to this channel. And, not going to lie, I am headed off to clean my kitchen after this episode! LOL. Super cool and enjoyable. Keep it up!
Really enjoy your perspective on what should be a crazy lifestyle. Please keep the content coming! Your positive demeanor and explanation of how your accomplish great experiences in a challenging situation is inspiring!
Great to see the new galley in action. Smoked Butter? I'm going to have to try that now. Thanks for sharing
We need more of this! MORE!
Excellent vlog as always looking forward to the next one
Great video. A pleasure to watch such expert work in a well organized galley.
A super efficient, friendly and fun crew! Simply wonderful! And on this yacht, you eat really very well! What delicious food!
as a newbie kitchen worker it is so nice to see everything you do in a day-or a crossing. I aspire to your cleaning and organizing level
Great video, thanks for sharing. Another site I watch had a party at the half way point of the crossing, it looked flat calm and fun.
Really enjoyed that. You all work so hard and I imagine it’s not quite as glamorous a job as some would think. Looks like you have a great team and a good laugh which must make it even more enjoyable.
Really fun to watch a creative professional, obviously at the top of her game, just be excellent in such a luxurious setting. She doesn't make it look like work at all, but it clearly is! Well done, chef!
What an awesome video! Great work!
I should learn never to watch your videos just before a meal. It always Ames what I’m about to have seem so lame😢 Really though, your personality , drive, and skill just amaze me and I doubt I’ll ever tire of watching. Learn something new every time
Very professional. And good humored! Soo important! Keep well, stay safe!
Great video, amazed by your hard work and talent 👍🏼
Something about this joyful video of hard work with great, positive people feels so right. Makes me still have faith in humanity 😅. Keep up the great videos!
All your preps look great.
Absolutely loving the videos! If possible, maybe do a video of the next time the crew is given a day off? Crew on holiday while still on the boat, using all the toys and visiting local spots and what not. Cheers!
You have a wonderful and cheerful personality. It definitely crosses over into your cook9ng. They are so lucky to taste your food
Dude your work ethic is inspiring as hell. Keep up the grind and the joy!
What a fun video. Bravo!
Awesome! Keep going Nina!! Love your vibe 👍🤩
I enjoyed your video with envy - something I should have done in he 80's when the body was willing and adventures awaited on every horizon - more videos please
Amazing to see how things work!
How fantastic, not taking away from all the hard work, but what a life.
A very industrious, personable crew. I like them.
while I follow a number of Crew view vlogs from Capt to Deckhands it is the Chef that sets the spirt of the ship thru the food. Crews are usually very busy and don't always get time to sit as one group to eat while guest are on board, looking forward to seeing all the tricks you use to keep this crew well fed and happy.
Great vid, light hearted and entertaining, but still informative.
Lovely video, good music, I can't wait for your next content!
I love being able to see this sort of boat life!,wish I had a job like this right now!.
You make it look so much fun, great editing and film making, well done
Good Job Ladies , that is great we get too learn things and lots of things.
Love the videos. Fascinating to see how everything comes together. Would love to see the finished dishes if possible. Are you able to exercise when guests are on the boat?
your videos are always awesome to watch.
Me gustó el vídeo.👍👍 Como saben cocinar tantas cosas buenas estudiaron artes culinarias??? Saludos desde Puerto Rico 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
