I just want to share how I got to know about Jessica Ho who now goes by JESSI.. lol Many many many years ago we had to download our songs, no Spotify which I can’t believe I’m even paying for... and I wanted to download Ciara’s 1,2 Step (really showing my age here), and so you searched the song on kazaa or something and you download it. Sometimes you’d get viruses and whatnot LOL. Welp I thought I dl’d ciaras song but somehow it was Jessica H.O’s 1,2 Step and that’s how far back it was. By the time I searched her up bc the song sounded so good and sweet, she had a “scandal” because she “badmouthed” BoA at the time (think Jay Park / 2PM on a lower scale).. eventually I saw her again on SMTM and she’s been on the up and up since then... her voice is different now but she’s definitely very very talented. I just felt the need to put this out in the universe lol. And her taste in men, Jungkook? 😘✨💜

I wish she also told them that her insecurities led her to do so much UNNECESSARY cosmetic surgery and putting all that filler in her lips. She doesn´t look fully human. Jessi has so much charm and natural beauty that she did not need to do that to herself. It is sad and I wish she had told those girls to know that beauty is an inside job.
@daysjours3 жыл бұрын
@@daysjours do i truly believe that everyone is genuinely beautiful with the features theyre born with? yes. do i think it's sad that so many girls feel the pressure to look better because theyre convinced theyre ugly? extremely. but i also think jessi has the right to look however she wants to look. it's her face so it's her choice. if someone chooses to do something that makes them feel better then i will 100% support that. because we have no right to comment on what is and isnt ok for her to do with her own body. she isnt going around telling kids to get surgeries right? she just did them for herself. so who cares. let her be. shes beautiful inside and outside, with or without surgery.
@anee75583 жыл бұрын
Jessi is full of so much chaotic energy, but she has a heart of gold when it comes to how she spoke to the four ODG stars. She tried to impart some wisdom she has had to learn over the years, tried to build up their confidence with well-earned compliments, and still was fun and silly in an attempt to help them relax a little around her. She's a talented musician, and clearly a lovely person. I hope she keeps knocking it out of the park with hit after hit.

@lailaaaa24663 жыл бұрын
Jayenne Giselle She has an outgoing personality even for a lot of American celebrities on tv, she is an unique person who is very extroverted and is a natural entertainer. I think a lot of Americans look at her and is like super proud of her or something because she’s unapologetically herself and try to call her refreshing comparing her to other kpop idols,.. but I haven’t seen a lot of young American celebrities in Hollywood who is like her either. I can’t think of one young American influencer/celeb who would ever have the balls to be like Jessi in the public eye, even girls like Emma Chamberlain went through a whole couple of years where she was hated by everyone just because of the fact that she was simply maturing and growing up and taking advantage of new opportunities. That shows how much young American celebrities are put into boxes and do not have the privilege to do what they want publicly. I’ve noticed many Americans also like to think of Jessi as some sort of martyr because they think she’s having such a hard time in Korea, being SO different from the “straight laced, conservative norm “ that they want to picture Korea as., lmao, a lot of Koreans love Jessi. There are a lot of Korean celebrities that are like her, but are simply not universally known. To many international fans that only see young kpop idols, they don’t exist. Id just like to stress the fact that there’s A LOt more to Korean entertainment than simply the kpop/kdrama world, its understandable that international fans don’t know about it due to the language barrier since they can only look through the internet and see things that have English subs. But it’s not excusable when so many international fans spread false information like they’re facts. If I know I cannot be completely aware of what’s going on because of the language barrier and such, I shut my mouth and I do not talk about it. Even tho I’ve actually been to Ethiopia and lived there for a month, I don’t talk about how the people are like there because I did not get to connect with the vast majority of the people I met there due to the language barrier. Yet I was pretty surprised to see so many international fans online talk so easily about and even FOR Koreans, even tho the maximum experience they’ve ever had with Koreans is seeing them through KZhead or something fictional and only the English subbed ones at that. Also, Jessi’s type of personality is very enjoyed and more importantly, is very familiar amongst Koreans, I think that’s why she’s so well known even to the young children here, who didn’t even know any of the kpop idols. I’m Half Korean, I can guarantee every Korean kid has someone like her in their family, especially if you have relatives from jeollanamdo, or kyungsangdo.

I would say people from Southern states are very friendly. In the North it depends, small town or tourist place, friendly, big city, people want their space. The US is so big, each region can be really different even though the language is the same.

Right ,, she is now the queen of K-pop
The reason she started doing her own interview show was to give idol a safe place to express themselves. Cause she said once whenever she went to any variety show they would always ask her about her body, her accent not about her work. Not about what she was doing. I am so proud of her

The comment I came looking for THis is where my fandoms collided and I could hear Trixie gasping SOOOO LOUD as Jessi violently snatched the doll out of the box 🤣
I love how she told the girls that it's okay to be sad and it's okay to cry, because being a confident woman doesn't mean not falling down at all, but it means getting back up when you inevitably do. That's so inspiring and it's something I'll try to remember as well
Yess!! Her advice is really motivating. I'll also try to follow her advice. People honestly think that just because someone is confident like Jessi...they don't get affected. I'm really happy that Jessi gave such a true and honest insight on everything.
yup its ok to cry like a little bitch but once u cry it all, u get up and be that bad bitch again... fight!
Yea I needed to hear that. I know that crying doesn’t mean weakness, but I always feel vulnerable and exposed when I allow myself to cry in front of others.
So adorable how Jessi was trying to make the kids talk causal to her. At first you can see they are tense and a bit confused, but they definitely loosen up by the end. This was great 😌
Nobody's talking about how the girl got shocked when Jessi said she's so accepting, she doesn't realise that not everybody is as accepting as her :") Bless her soul

I honestly love the contrast between Jessi's on stage persona and her off stage persona. Jessi is really soo sweet. People assume that because she's American and bold..She's not a good person. It's such a contrast from the typical idol behaviour and she seems to really give everyone confidence and love around her 😆😄😊
She s a great person and some ppl can't help but be intimidated and jealous of her...I am very similar to Jessi.....jessi deserves love and respect
It was really nice to hear her story, it’s not easy to be part of the entertainment industry and to achieve success as you get older, her words were really heartfelt ❤️
