  • Ah, yes. The "Grumpy Dad" routine the older men put on when getting a dog/puppy. My dad did this almost four years ago when we got our doxle (dachshund/beagle mix), and would say things like, "She's too little" or "When are we giving her back?" Suffice it to say, though, she has him wrapped around her paw now, and he won't hesitate to pick her up and cuddle her.

    • Because they JUST got this new puppy. That doesn't mean the other dog will be ignored. Do you think the family that's been with you all day are forever ignored if you greet a guest at the door?   • As cute as the video is, there's something that REALLY bothers me. Why are you using pics in the thumbnail that isn't in the video ??? I've once saw the actual video with the girl on the right side of the thumbnail wich is one of the most adorable reactions I've ever saw. Been looking all over for it.   • please dear people Do not give puppies to your elderly parents or grandparents. often, in old age, they no longer do justice to the animals. Animal shelters have wonderful senior dogs that are so desperate for a home.
