Even though this isn't a full review of a Cessna 182P model, it is quite detailed and you will see a walk around of the airplane, interior, Cessna 182P performance specs and flight. Also in this video we get to try the newly released Garmin aera 760 GPS. You'll see how we use it in different phases of flight during the video.
Enjoyed watching your advertisement. I owned a 1975 Cessna 182P and enjoyed flying it for many years, an excellent plane. One mistake you made was the horsepower, it is 230hp, not 235. I live in Alaska and equipped it with 850 tires for landing off airport on gravel bars or ridge tops. The camber lift wings enhanced the short field performance. I also flew between Alaska and the Pacific Northwest a couple of times, and appreciated the 80 gallons fuel range.
You guys are the best with explaining into details. I love it so much! Thank you.
I truely love the details you guys put into your videos.
Thanks. Aviation is our passion. We like to share our experience and knowledge with others.
Top notch job Aero life...i haven't seen any other sales team that does such a comprehensive job of letting the customer know so much about the aircraft. The video is excellent and the website for sale link is absolutely comprehensive.
Thank you for watching and checking out our website. Making a video like this is a big task that takes days of time. Even though it helps buyers, we don't make these extensive videos just for selling purposes, we love aviation and like to share our knowledge and experience with others. We appreciate the comments
as a fellow pilot, Great Job with the video presentation and going over the aircraft features and performance. top job! THANK YOU SO MUCH for using a wireless headset that mics you for the video. So many never think to use this and makes their narratives horrible to listen too, especially outside with wind and moving away from the camera. You guys got this!!
Appreciate you watching the video and your comment. We have gotten better with the sound but still need to improve the quality.
What a beauty! Hope I could purchase one someday
What a nice plane! Great job presenting it. Would love to own it. Had a lot fun flying one after I got my license back in the day. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching the video and the comment.
I'm a long way from purchasing an airplane (someday.... someday...) even still, I appreciate the level of detail that you present as to the airworthiness, handling, and aeronautics of the planes you advertise. It's a refreshing perspective from the usual eye-candy spin around a hanger-ed plane and talk about the upholstery... okay, it's nice if the plane has attractive carpet & seats... but not terribly high on my list of priorities when picturing myself intent on getting back down safely when faced with marginal or degrading conditions. I'll keep lurking with special consideration to your channel until one day I just can't resist. :P
Thank you for the compliment. In airplanes, it is not easy to get first-hand experience in many different planes before deciding to buy one. We hope these videos help somewhat.
Great Vid i could watch Test Flights & Walkarounds of Cessnas all Day
Thank you for watching the video and the comment
Exceptional job! I have been looking for info on the C182P, learnt a lot from this!
Thank you, I am glad it helped.
Awesome! Enjoy watching your videos
Thank you, I am glad you enjoy them.
Wonderful plane, and presentation. Thank you.
Thank you for watching and your comment. Even though this isn't a full review video for the 182, we tried to include many features of the 182 in it.
@@aerolife1646 Funny your non full review is more detailed than other reviews.
This is one nice Beautiful 182
It was a good airplane
What a beauty! The airplane is nice too.
Great Aircraft and I loved flying the Skylane and I'll be looking forward to seeing the information you have on this one you have for sale

Thank you for making very good video
Thank you for watching and the comment.

I love your videos😃
Glad you enjoy them, thanks for watching
Great video, one o the best. I'm buying a 182 just as soon as my rich uncle gets outta the poor house. Thx.
Thanks. 182 is a good plane to own.
Looks like this airplane already sold. Nice walk through!

Nice airplane
...and, SOLD in less than 5 days. Great job with this video!
More like 8 hours. Thanks for watching the video
spacewalk001 ... can you share what price this plane was listed for before the price was taken down when it sold? It would be very helpful to folks like me to see what a plane in this condition, equipped like this was listed for (and sold quickly). Thank you.
I figure that plane would sell like a hotcake.
Beautiful plane
It definitely is, thank you
What a beauty. Just got my PPL looking at 182s and Sr20/22s for my mission.
NonyaBusiness! I was done with the training before the virus. When examiners went back to work, I made arrangements for the checkride. All ppe and distancing procedures were followed.
I think you're on the right track. All 3 airplanes you mentioned are good choices. Cirrus is a very nice plane - make sure to check the parachute repack date as that has required intervals and I think that costs close to $20k (only reason I mention is that is one point some people could overlook when considering a Cirrus). SR22 is a much faster and more modern plane than the 182P
AeroLife holy cow you are right. I looked up the intervals and it says 10 years!!! I think I’ll stick to looking for a 182
@@gaflyer7329 Cirrus is a very good plane. That is just an expense that needs to factor into a purchase. When you are looking to buy a plane, even if it's not one of our planes feel free to reach out to us and we will help out any way we can.
AeroLife thanks for your help. I will call you on Monday. Maybe we can get something cooking 🙂
cool !!!
I got really interesting in this, watched the entire video, clicked on link, already SOLD lol. Dangit. Loved the video nonetheless.

same for me
Just wanted to say hi from Australia
Hi from USA
I have two fiends who own 182’s and flown with them often. It’s a great airplane. I didn’t hear if you mentioned the asking price. Kim
Great video. The only problem...you sell them too fast😃. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, we appreciate it. We try to sell decent airplanes for a reasonable price.
Have you ever done a review of a Cessna 150? In tail dragger design especially. Thanks.
When we get a taildragger we will make sure to create a detailed video.
Hy. Good morning. Very instructed video. Please let me know if this C.182 is still for sale, I'm looking for one in good conditions and I'll appreciate if you let me know for any other C.182 or C.206 on sale, if this one has gone. I'm from Port Madryn; Argentine Patagonia. Happy Easter. Thank you.
Hi Blessed. I was wondering if the right door warped slightly or just not closed properly. Left looks a bit off with also. Do they just need adjustment? Thanks, John
They're just not closed completely, they do close fine.
Has this Cardinal been sold?
I it's philip.philip hope you are well.philip is a beginner so he is just learning all the cockpit.i learned some bits in flying.how much are they in English money. Did you say you had a hand book on the plane and cockpit.i have a lot to learn yet.i like the cardinal.many thanks philip.
Here is the owner's handbook for a Cessna 182P. You can learn a lot about the plane and operations in the handbook. www.t-craft.org/Fleet/C182P-POH.pdf
what did this aircraft sale for ?
Well done, thank you. Question about the Auto-pilot? Was it employed on the test flight?
We did not use the autopilot during the video flight.
I used to fly this plane out of ktmb years ago
Small world. It had many changes since then.
👍
sorry... maybe i missed ... did you talk about fuel burn? or burn rate? thanks.. great review
Fuel burn varies quite a bit depending on altitude and power settings, The POH dedicates a few pages to those numbers.
@@aerolife1646 yes i understand that, but in your other reviews you mention your fuel burn, but not in this one... :(
@@jhonnyextremo Approximately 11- to 12.5 gallons per hour in cruise.
You missed discussing the Narco DME
Thanks for pointing it out and watching the video. Some features are not used as much today so we keep them out just to manage the length of the video.
I noticed now we use the term “motor“. I see people saying this . Many years ago when I was flying it was referred to as an engine. A Cessna 310 was referred to as a twin engine aircraft. Is it now a twin motor aircraft? What is the difference between an engine and a motor? If there is no difference how have we evolved to the term motor over engine? I honestly don’t know the answer to this and I would love to learn. Many thanks to all.
I always thought engines used some sort of fuel (gas, diesel, etc) and motors were generally electrical. But I guess the words have become more or less interchangeable.
Yes. An engine uses a fuel source which undergoes a chemical change to produce power. A motor uses a substance which does not undergo chemical change e.g. electricity, hydraulic, pneumatic ( air) etc. It’s not a jet motor. I am hoping we can get away from this vocabulary.
My grandfather who was a WWII pilot and a lifelong aircraft mechanic taught me that a "motor" is electric and an "engine" is fuel burning.
Great question! Your definitions are correct. The FAA considers piston and turbine power plants engines. This is evidenced in the FAA aircraft type, such as single-engine land (ASEL), multiple engine land airplane (MEL(A)), or airplane single-engine sea (ASES). However, class names being entrenched and simple, an airplane with a single electric motor as the power plant and having only wheels will likely be classed as ASEL.
I agree with the other responses here. The proper terminology is engine but it has become common to say motor interchangeably. We will try to use engine in the future.
What is the minimun take off & landing distance necesary?
705ft and 590ft for takeoff and landing rolls for the 182P model
Have you ever witnessed any evidence of water in your sump cup during the preflight?
Which craft do you prefer, the 177 or the 182?
I prefer 177 and 182 and 210 and ... :) They are very good planes and each in their own class. You need to pick a plane based on your needs.

How much the all in monthly cost with 10 hours flight/month with this plane?

already sold... great company, with nothing for sale... reminds me up the cheese shop sketch by monty python
Funny, every plane I call on is sold!

Your NOT going to land a Cessna smaller than the big Caravan in 42kt winds/49 mph. And your not going to climb and descend without proper powr management and manifold.
You can't land a Cessna 182 with 42kt crosswind. The day our pilot landed this plane it was gusting to 42kts less than 10 degrees off the runway heading. You can climb and descend without the yoke or changing the power settings if you have sufficient airspeed; the airspeed will change during those scenarios.
A great boring aircraft for $106K. Rockwell Commander 112TC or AG AA5B Tiger a lot more fun to fly. for $100K
Fun is a matter of opinion like I like to fly 305 for fun. 182 is more of a practical, versatile airplane.
@@aerolife1646 the mission matters, i flew the Yankee and tiger in LA
@@jamesmorton7881 Did you fly AA-1 with 360 upgrade? Do you think it would be an even better airplane with little less wing loading and lower stall speed?
@@aerolife1646 i loved flying it, no changes, carry power when landing. I had real right stuff instructor. LA area, hawthorn, torrance, van-nuys email ?
Blah, blah, blah.. zzzzzzzzz
