Thats absolutely amazing work of art. Each and every piece has tradition and hard work of many many generations. No one can put a price tag to these. If you are able to pay for such a work of art, you are blessed. Cherish it for generations. These are not toys. Whatever someone pays is like a donation. No one can actually buy such an art. I wish these artists and art works are supported and appreciated people and government but cannot be bought. Lots of love and admiration from India. ❤
@aniljalan8366 These are lovely sentiments for the artisan’s creativity and woodworking expertise. Your generous appraisal of his expertise is well warranted … 🤗.
Discipline, patience, attention to detail, and placing Honor in the value of your art!
And he didn't cut himself either.
Considering the level of craftsmanship, and the time consuming work, these must be considered works of Art, and the prices must be commensurate with the level of devotion to creating them.
Beautiful bamboo bag! Amazing craftsmanship!
@ 23:50, Now I can better understand the making of the "Japanese Friendship" dolls made back in the 1920-30s. I'm also studying Japanese Kokeshi Dolls (Manami Okazaki) book. I am so impressed with Japanese handcrafts and their exquisite beauty. Thanks to all who put this together for the world to appreciate.
The craftmanship takes my breath away. I am always speechless with the level of skill and beauty ❤
Owning any of these works of art would be a privilege, and they should be displayed proudly and handed down to your children!
Anyone watch these videos to fall asleep? I find them so relaxing that I just fall asleep.
The technology of making dolls in Japan is truly amazing. It's beautiful and classy.
Thank you for your comment !
Each of these items created are absolutely beautiful. The level of detail, quality, workmanship and dedication is at the very least astounding!!!! I have nothing but admiration for all of these masters and feel honored to have viewed such beauty. Thankyou!
I would definitely buy anything these people make🙂. Because I mean just the love and the time and effort they put into each one of their products is simply astounding ❤
But their junk looking. I mean mold a space station or something. Not some false bs puny god
Witnessing a troglodyte acquire speech in real time... I feel blessed...
The land of rising Sun and gifted people. The people who still have their Emperor. Art, craft, dedication, respect and regard is their national character. Wonderful people. Matchless.
Only partially true as they'd been stealthily taken over and now conform to the Weatern Narrative.
@@Kameron-vip I agree but still... they are unique people.
Just love the Japanese culture and the craftsmanship!! Just love them!!!!
Mr. Tanimura your chasen is absolutely beautiful ❤🙇🏻♂️
The basket weaver is a true master!
The bamboo bag was amazing
I love that they still use the old ways in most things instead of modernizing the process. Machines take away the soul of the final outcome. These craftsmen love their work and you can tell in the final product
I would certainly purchase these items. There is something special about handcrafted items and the precision and care that goes into each and every piece is amazing. I was hooked when I started watching this video. Beautiful work for sure xx
Several years ago, a local department store in my city and country, sponsored an exhibition of the most beautiful Japanese dolls created by skilled artisans. When I enquired about the purchase of these exquisite kimono-clad dolls, I was told that ONE person purchased the whole collection for $2,500.00. There was also a doll dressed in the traditional wedding kimono but the whole collection was extraordinary. Mr. Tanimura embodies the ultimate skill and craftsmanship embodied in his creative genius.
Qc, Canada
Truly awesome! Thankyou so much for showing these exquisite art forms to the world. I’d love to see some suiseki in the making as I wood carve myself. I’m a huge fan of bamboo… It’s such an amazingly versatile plant…from building large structures to so delicately weaving!! Once again thanks so much. I look forward to watching more of your nations wealth of artistry. 🙏🏾💕🎶

Wow❤❤❤ excelente.
Tanimura-San Your wood working skill is exquisitely executed and is very much appreciated for your expert craftsmanship.
All the respect for the mastery of these artists, I like that they keep the traditions of hundreds of years of the manufacturing process in handicrafts, only one thing surprises me, how can you stay in your own house with a mask on your face? are the Japanese really that scared of Covid?
Japanese have long worn masks in and outdoors long before COVID. They will wear them for anything from the common cold to even just air quality due to pollen. That's how their culture has been for a very long time (after a quick google search, it looks like it dates back to the 1800's). Japan's culture is considered to very polite compared to others around the world, so they not only wear masks as to not get others sick (where as in America it seemed more like we were told to wear them as to not get sick ourselves) but they even consider it good manners to cover their mouths while chewing food, talking with something in their mouth, and even smiling or laughing.
Bravo 👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉

I understand the nostalgia of kawabata
It was painful watching the statue being guilded. Otherwise, most of them were works of art. Thank you for sharing Japanese artisans.

Boa tarde, quanto custa uma boneca, natal Rio grande do Norte 😊
How can the audio vary so much, when in the same room coming from the same cameras? There are people (like me) who are overly sensitive to sounds. Also, leveling your audio is filmmaking 101
