    • Originally, New Directions were going to win at Regionals because Ryan Murphy believed Glee wouldn't be renewed; however, Fox renewed Glee for a second season and thus Murphy decided that New Directions would lose so that in season 2 there would be more effort, and they would be more willing to win Regionals

    • Virginia Davis but just because someone did something horrible in their life doesn’t mean god doesn’t forgive. You shouldn’t say stuff like that. It’s horrible he took his own life instead of working on his issues and it’s sad he died young because he could have had a better life. He didn’t deserve to die and shouldn’t be talked down upon for his mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect. I guess that means Cory is a horrible person too cause he was a druggie, wrong. Think before you say something ignorant

Yes I know he did something bad. But in the Bible it says god forgives everyone that wants to be forgiven and he wanted to be forgiven but he sadly took his life.   • This is a beautiful mash up but what bugs me is looking at the comments and seeing every other one saying “rip Cory”. It’s sad that he’s gone but shouldn’t we remember him for the life he had not that he’s gone. He would want us to remember the good times like this, and not that he’s gone. So please remember Cory for how he lives his beautiful life and think of him as he’s still here right behind you. I think the best comments are the ones talking about his amazing voice and attitude not the ones that highlighted his death only. Beautiful job everyone and a beautiful mashup done beautiful people

    • Yep. The biggest mistake the show made was bringing in a bunch of newbies in season 4 and expecting everyone to care about them. They may have been talented but they were just less interesting and charismatic versions of the originals. Killed the show, in my opinion. Cory’s death was the final nail in the coffin but it was already going downhill in season 4.

  • How I wished they had saved this performance til season 3 as the one to win Nationals with! This is by far my favourite performance of the New Directions and the acting is just perfect. They ended up winning with songs that had no emotional resonance at all. This performance would have been a perfect callback to their roots and winning with something that is so deeply connected to the group would have been *chefs kiss.

  • fun tidbit i just noticed after like 4 or so rewatches of this show but around 3:35, naya and chris actually mess up the dance move! in the corner of the shot, you can see him being an awkward gay bean and naya is definitely laughing afterwards, not singing. then like two shots later, he doesn't pull her in like the other guys on screen do with their partners because she's still laughing, and she just kind of shuffles into position next to him lol i just found out she died, so it really made me smile when i found a tiny shot of her just laughing and dancing and having a great time
