@@mrmikal11 except it's not "supposed to be bad" the video creator seems to have expected something much more ambitious than The Stanley Parable was. It was a mod turned into a game that was only meant to be a fun time for the maybe 5 hours you play it and absolutely nothing more. As such his criticism of the gameplay loop or the story has no weight, and his criticism of the humor can only be understood as strictly subjective. It was neither "supposed" to be bad nor supposed to be something that you think about long after you finish it, and the idea that a game needs to be so in order for it to even pass off as not "bad" is in itself an entirely subjective value that many people don't entirely agree with

Out of all the endings in the Stanley Parable, the one that impacted me the most was the red door one, which leads to the psychedelic place and the stairway. I felt so bad for the narrator, but I couldn't just stay there. There was nothing else to do. The narrator is not evil, for the most part. He just wants to tell his story. It also seemed to me like a sort of vague critique of some artsy digital works. I am aware that I was supposed to go to the stairway and jump off the platform in the red door area, but doing it repeatedly while the narrator pleaded me not to was so sad.

It's great he puts all of his videos in the greatest hits Playlist because every video rocks
If an AI ever becomes sentient and evil we’ll be okay because Dunkey can always just troll it out of existence.
4:25- “This coffee mug was the narrator the whole time?!”
First dunkey vid I have ever watched. Amazing.
you know it's pretzel day if stanley gets up.
For this game, Dunkey quite literally came back in 10 years.
This game legitimately feels like something dunkey would make
one of my favorite games of all time. i'm glad Dunkey played it
At 4:00 is basically describing OW2
5:41 that scream is all too real 🤣
Dunkey is a true chad for not spoiling what happens after you jump in the shallow infinite hole
Finally. This game takes me back to the high school days 🥲 one of my faves of all time! Dunkster you legend
Another flawless video with no dislikes
Actually, it has 217 dislikes. :P
@@JoBot__ no, clearly it has 0 dislikes stop lying
@@slavi8433 I'm not lying. 😅
@@JoBot__ you are clearly biased man!!
@@slavi8433 No, I like the video. It's just I have a magic power to see dislikes. 😅 Also, nobody ever said I was a man. -._-.
Dunkey and the Narrator are like made for each other
The perfect Dunkey video.
Always love it when the best video game of all time appears on my home feed.
This game really makes you FEEL like Stanley
This game feels like they knew Dunkey was going to play it
Super fun vid, Dunk! I love how you kept up the Office references, too!
I can't believe he didn't do the broom closet ending! It's probably the best in the entire game!
Frankly, he probably didn't realize you can open that door (since everything else is locked really)
Oh! Did you get the broom closet ending?!?! The broom closet ending was my favorite!!!1
@@jmerridew124 I would say I find this concerning, but I'm not your friend, so I won't.
I really love the very brief slip into an British accent to really sell the fancy surroundings at 1:31 dunkus
This game and Dunkey make for a wonderful combination!
