    • Sorry you had to go through all of that. But you do have a choice and that choice is to put your stuff in a car or get that ticket and get out of Dodge. I just came back from another country where you can literally live a different life, and you can do it. You just got to believe that your life can be different and the streets don't mean anything. You get to choose your life. It's your choice so make a choice. What type of life do you want to live, do you want to build a foundation for your family or do you want to continue some cycle or contribute to an empty void for direction that's not going anywhere? When my circumstances come together I'm getting out of Dodge. I'm not even from the streets or involved in it, but as a grown ass man you have the power to make decisions about your own well-being, your next steps and your future. The past is over you can't do anything about it. All you can do is move forward. No judging, we all have a different path. There are many people in other countries that have it way way way worse than we do. Got to have some perspective. What are you willing to sacrifice for a better life? That's a real real question and if you can answer it real real then you might be able to take those steps. We all have the right to be happy do meaningful work and provide for ourselves and our family. But you got to play your part. Use the pain as motivation to go and do better for yourself. Hell I was in another country and I met a young black girl from Atlanta who just happened to be in the same place at the same time. I remember her at one point acting very ATL like yo she's ready to pop off. And I countered that by telling her yo you're not back at home, this is not that life You don't need to do those things anymore You could put that in the trash can. She's literally in a different world that's just carrying that same foolishness with her. But she doesn't have to. Turns out she's an English teacher in Korea! Go figure. Anyways man...Godspeed.
