  • I hated the book but loved the movie. The book is incredibly toxic and terribly written. This movie didn't take itself too seriously and I appreciated that. The chemistry between Dylan and Ginny was great.

  • They had such a great novel to base it on. I get they wanted to do a romcom...but this did not live up to the original story. no character study, not deep enough. the actors did not get a chance to get into it, into anything, plot and structure were too shallow. it's like a series of little clips, but NO SOUL. not the actors fault.

    • Nah, the book came out way before After did. It was a serious story, but the movie took the rom-com route instead. Now this seems like a satire on movies like After and others.
