Tennessee absolutely mobbed the floor against Iowa, the volunteers controlled the line a scrimmage, big plays, and unbelievable defense too, the future looks bright for them.
That's how I feel. Yeah, Iowa has a bad offense, but you'd think they'd score on ut after all of their DB transfers. I guess their coaching staff was just cutting weight because they played great today

The Big Ten Championship Game was clearly deflating for Iowa. Michigan took away their dreams of winning a conference title and damaged their confidence. Tennessee beat a team that was already defeated before kickoff.

Not really The big ten is like a high school team other than one or two teams. The rest of them play nobody all year. A good big city high school team could be big any big ten team. Other than Michigan or Ohio State.

I remember Iowa getting blown out in two Rose Bows in the 1980s and getting blown out again by Stanford in a Rose Bowl sometime between 2005 and 2015.
That's because they're a really good high-school team (at beast) that mostly plays other high-school teams, and is better than them. This is the result of playing actual college ball. A true-freshman QB making his 1st start beat them so bad that the 3rd string Qb got some snaps. Iowa is garbage. Always has been, always will be.

Well, as American is to be fair, quite a defensive game except only Volunteers Offence was good enough to score and win for the team. A lot of sacks, but at least QBs or such didn't drop the ball in a fumble that the D could have recovered and turned it over (yet as I haven't seen Vol go pass 14 points)

I have no trouble with off side players touching and stopping the play, but since no yards in encouraging better behaviour, it should happen but get a 5 yard penalty ok? Like say from 1 yard near the end zone, it gets moved to just 6, within 10 yards. No problem with that eh? 15 yards would be too much. It should be if the returner tried to get the ball w/o it hitting the ground. So 15 works that way but if it hits the ground once, 5 yard then. Canada does not yet but should and especially America ok?

Agreed, Auburn is the only SEC team that has majorly dropped the ball in bowl season. Kentucky lost too, but at least it was a close game, against a team whom have won Natty’s in this century. I was still incredibly disappointed with Kentucky choking the game away though. SEC SEC

This didn't age well, now did it? Iowa beat Kentucky last year 21-0. And now Kentucky has lost again, along with Auburn, and Alabama. Georgia got to play a team that didn't bother to field over a dozen of their players. Their are several teams in the SEC that played bowl games going in with 7-5 records. I don't put much stock in bowl games anymore as teams haven't played in a long time and players opt out. For the record, Iowa has a decent record against the SEC in bowl games. Ask LSU & Kentucky. And their overall bowl game record is 18-18.

Big 10 fans…can you see why SEC fans don’t respect the conference ? Big 10 historically is top heavy (Ohio state, Michigan, penn state). SEC teams are strong even with the lower half teams
How many teams will the BIG get into the 12 team playoff? The SEC will have TN, Bama, UGa, Oklahoma, LSU, Mizzou, Ole Miss, and any other team that is having a good year competing for a spot. Will the other conferences heads explode when the SEC gets 4-6 teams in it?
