Looking around for a cheap tube bender to bend Chromoly in my shop. I found a few really cheap pipe benders, but from the reviews, I found they would all kink the tube in the middle of the bend.
I then ran into the affordable bender which everyone seemed to like, and also found what appears to be the same thing but re-branded under Speedway Motors. Speedway had them in stock and on sale with all five dies so I decided to go that route. After making my first couple of bends I am really happy with it for a tube bender that is under $1000 with dies!

I can tell you with 100% certainty the speedway bender is copy of the Affordable Bender. Affordable Bender is based out of a smaller shop. 1 man show kinda deal. He cuts and welds the frames himself.
It’s all coming together mate ! It’s looking good Using some trefolex cutting lube on the hole saw will make it cut a lot better !

The dominator can record whatever you want. The racepak isn’t needed. Also some lubricant will help your tube notching.
I guess I could have been more clear on that it’s a mount for the Racepak smart wire. I’ll be using that for all body wiring for streetcar things! Used a little WD to help with cutting but need to get some better cutting oil for sure!

Affordable bender is pretty good works great on .120 dom. For 4130 1.625 .083 ive had it kink with allstar brand of tubing but not with a different brand. Maybe it was a had batch or something.
That’s interesting, I have some 1.625 .083 moly I got from stock car steel I’ll have try out. Sounds like that was a hardened batch or something
What radiator is that? Size?
How much was it with all the days
It’s like $937 normally I got during Black Friday for around $800
