Mushrooms do actually turn brown after struck by lightning, but you use the command block to summon the lightning so the lightning struck to command block and not the mushroom so that’s why the mushroom did not turn brown

I play bed rock edition but I sometimes wish I had java features that bedrock doesn’t have, so I guess you can say that each version has its own advantages For example bedrock edition has potions of decay, but java edition has commands to spawn secret mobs Btw FYI by the time I am commenting this, bedrock edition is starting to get some java features and I happy with it as long as it has features that are classic bedrock features at the same time
