Chris Joslin is unreal on a skateboard
Wryuo
MAGIC
Homie literally deserves it all, he’s put in SO much work.
Yup
Dope video by Indy as always... You should get grant Taylor to talk about his Indy’s
8.375” is smaller than 149 (8.5”) They do not go in on that setup .25” The axle slightly sits outside the deck but yes they ride perfect that way!
martin gonzalez a he is right
Jersey Devil Actually.. he’s NOT! I ride the 144s on an 8.125 (8.25”) and they are perfect. 149s on an 8.375 is the same fit, and they DO NOT stick out at all. Don’t believe the ‘pundits’ .. and you’re going to tell Joslin they stick out when he just stuck it straight into the lens?! 🤦🏼♂️
E RAM no I’m saying that the axle on an 8.5 sticks out a tiny bit on an 8.375, not the wheels but the axle. And I have been playing with the idea of putting a 144 on an 8.125 but most people use 139 on an 8.125.
The Narrow Gate 👍🏻
Jersey Devil Totally! Dude.. if you’re in the fence with the 8.125/144 combo... I can’t assure you enough, you’ll be stoked with the width of the axel without bumping up to an 8.25 deck! 139s would be too tucked.. I originally rode the 144s on a Habitat 8.375 and they were definitely too tucked beneath the deck (for me). Jumped on Deedz’ new Enjoi ‘football’ shape 8.375 which has a tapered nose 6.75/tail 6.375, and that worked perfect with 144s because it’s basically the same specs as a standard 8.125, but with that wider mid deck. Obviously it’s all personal preference/style, but 8.375/149s, 8.125/144, are the best combos I’ve experimented with... 🤙🏽
lol the beat lines up with him landing the tricks
Those brown Etnies Joslins look sooo good! 😋😍 Oh, and of course the Indys are top notch, that goes without saying!
Sweet session...
Amazing chris joslin
Wooo i need this bord!! Keep on training boy🤘🏼🔥
My friend had a brand new pair of Indy's and he hated them and refused to even skate on them, so I told him to stop crying and come to the skatepark and I'd trade him the new Indy's for my two year old thunder team hollows.......best decision I've made in a while I fucking love the Indy's way more than my old thunders......oh and he gave me a pair of emericas in the deal also lmao I think I came out on top in that trade.
For sure dude
Fav skater

Best trucks
Actually Indy 149's are 8.5", he would have to ride 144's (8.25") if he wants them to be smaller than his 8.375 deck.
You're totally right. I personally rode 149s on 8.5 and then went up to 9" as an experiment. I stressed at first about getting some 159's but the weight starts to stack up so I ran with 49's on the 9 as a further experiment. I added 4 washers on the inner side bearings to increase the wheels reach a little and it works rad. The board flips a little easier because centre of gravity is improved and turns on a dime thanks to body weight being drawn over the edge with greater ease. Andrew Reynolds rode 139's on 8.5s (which is the same equivalent) and I he preferred it too (from what I gather in interviews). I, for sure, favour slightly narrower over slightly wider. Improved weight, tighter turning radius and better flipping. Would be keen to hear others thoughts on this.
Akshually
Lol I skate my 149 titaniums on an 8.25 decl
@@nathanvaltierra8707 same, fits good
He’s so stoned 😂
Super lame comment but aren't 149's 8.5" wide so whats he talking about?
There's actually 144 indys that are 8.25 wide, those would fit that board better in my opinion, but maybe he wants 149's to get better control, pinch or what ever
I was thinking the same thing. They are probably 144 trucks.
@@alexnelson8 you barely see anything pointing out the side with 149 on 8.25 i dont doubt he is skating 149's
DaSwami Boy you're probably right. Also, a lot of pros ride their trucks slightly wider than their board. The new Indys have slightly narrower hangers than other brands, but still have the same axle width. I recently put my 149 Indys next to my 149 Thunders and noticed this.
I used to like 149s on a 8.125
Is the music by Blue Sky Black Death?
what’s the instrumental called ?
Are they forged?
Song?
You should get cj collins or lazer crawford talk about your trucks
@rob cj Collin already has a my Indys video
Chris Joslin 🎩👍🦍🦍
149 fit 8.5 perfect so that whole speech about them lining up and not sticking out on an 8.375 and him rather they stick in then out is dumb because they do stick out slightly lol
I guess he means they don’t stick out enough like 159 or 169s would but your right I noticed that too 😂
I ride Indy hollows they're super light
Titaniums are lighter
I heavy standard edition is the only way to go imo! I can ride bigger wheels and they turn way better without wheel bite. Bam!
What board co. Is Joslin going to ride for?
Starts with a Plan, ends with a B.
E RAM this one maybe over your head, bud. Of course Plan B is the board brand he’s still under contract for, but who will he goto? He’s riding a blank with no plan b stickers, most riders have to ride out their contract before they can jump into a new one.
Al King watch the video again a little closer, he’s riding one of his Plan B pro boards called “knucklehead” not a blank
Nolan Affleck in some shots yes, but the blank deck I’m talking about has no plan B anything. Go check it out.
Al King You could sleep easier tonight knowing that CJ is still on Plan B...
Whats the star sticker??
It's kind of lame, but it's Rockstar energy drinks sticker.
Ok basically if your name is Chris, you're born with the ability to skate
0.52 that girls fit tho...
My sponsors are Rockstar, McDonalds and Walmart.
I’m commenting to make the number of comments 69, nice indys
He legit throwing kflip krooks on brand new trucks, wtf!
Also pro tip so you dont break indes bushings and to make them last longer, don't tighten the trucks for a day, skate them super super loose. Try not to jump down shit either as the compression on the new bushing can crack it.
Personally when I get new indes, I sit at my computer with my board setup, then loosen the trucks a ton, and for 4 hours I rock the trucks back and forth while gaming.
BallsOfSteele damn bro crazy tip good looks
Or stick some bones bushings in em.. mediums for me
