    • @@goodtimeswithhaylee3662 i saw in a vid that when catnap was a kid in playcare, he accidentally met the prototype, that became his only friend. One day, Catnap's human form and prototype almost managed to escaped, but huggy wuggy attacked Catnap, prototype and catnap managed to run away but catnap was badly injured. Then, instead of just running away and letting catnap behind, prototype called the staff, that managed to turn him into the Catnap we know today. So the Prototype was not Catnap's only friend, but also his savior, so that's why Catnap treat him like a God.

  • It's really tragic this song. Explains how CatNap's obsession with the Prototype was so unhealthy and addictive that when DogDay tried to prevent the other Smiling Critters from going down the same path as well, CatNap took that as a sign of betrayal from someone he considered his best friend. The poor feline was so engrossed in his obsession with pleasing his "saviour" that he lost sight of who his true friends were, and considered the Prototype as his one and only true friend despite the fact that he was clearly using him for his own greedy intentions. CatNap was too blind to see the truth and turned his back on DogDay when he made it clear he stood against the Prototype's beliefs, and prevented the others each from turning into what CatNap had already become; a blind, oblivious, obsessive follower of a fraud who puts on the act of a saviour to trick others into carrying out his dirty work. Little did DogDay know of the tragic fates that would befall all his friends after they tried rebelling against the Prototype, and the torture CatNap would subject him to when they were the only Critters left, as revenge for "betraying" the friendship they once had together.

  • Awww, poor CatNap. I feel quite sorry for him, as I do for the other characters. Sometimes I'd like to see versions where you're more like the main character trying to save these characters, I think that would be very interesting and touching/nice. (I don't count the cracked games --w--) But about that song, this song is really great and I think it really sums up the story before the whole disaster happened. It's a really nice song, I love songs like that, keep it up. :3
