Nirvana funny moments/ Nirvana being Nirvana!!
A longer video this time because all my nirvana vids are quite short :p
Nirvana is a grunge band that consists of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic
I swear i'll get more original titles and thumbnails because it's getting repetitive i know-
But anyways, enjoy these guys actin like idiots :)

  • You know… It’s a spectacularly fitting coincidence that a band named “Nirvana” seemed to be the only group of bandmates, who achieved their level of success, that truly seemed to want nothing more than to be a good band, that played good music, and to have a good time while doing it. They didn’t even want the fame, the cars, the mansions, the clothes, or the spoils. Just each other, a laugh, and the music.

    • Yeah... Sadly, that's not exactly true. They almost broke up over royalties, because Kurt felt he deserved a far bigger cut after Nevermind, but also wanted it applied retroactively, which really upset the other guys. He ended up getting 75% of all royalties for Nevermind and the later albums, while Dave and Kris had to share the remainder between themselves. I suspect they were mostly happy up to that point, but after that, the band was never the same. Sad, really.

    • The "check check check" wasn't a joke or acting silly. He was told to test his microphone for the umpteenth time, which is exactly what he was doing. It's what he said right after that was noteworthy, the guy is clearly expressing his annoyance with checking the equipment for longer than the duration of the show itself. He was also known to not care about sound quality, so as far as he was concerned, it was all useless torture.

We were basically all doing that type of shit, lol. A lot of low budget skate and grafitti videos floating around too (mostly just bullshitting around on tape though). It was all about being edgy and taking it to the extrememes... and somehow the whole thing got flipped on its head in the mainstream in the early 2000s. And for some reason Eminem was the only representation of that era for a while. It's pretty mind-boggling how it changed.
