I asked him to explain the situation and he said he had got into an altercation with police while protesting. Our head of security made a good point, “if he gets emotional and doesn’t have regard for authority or police, how do you think he’ll treat staff and security?” He had a point. Part of my job is to keep my staff safe. I had to let him go on the spot due to the bad decisions he made.

There was a building next to them being renovated and it looks like they stole the wood, possibly hard hat’s from the site. Hard hats were on their list of supplies. Encampments should never have been allowed, the danger and implied threat to others, disruption on campus and disease spread in situations like this. The kids don’t have to clean up the crap either. California taxpayers will be hit with tens of millions in police overtime plus all the emergency calls that went unanswered. National Guard should have been called.

All American universities are basically just financial businesses with libraries and they massively invest a bunch of businesses, Harvard alone has endowment funds of over 50 billion dollar. And some of the companies these universities invest in companies like Lockheed Martin or Cisco which are heavily tied with Israel, play major roles for its military sector and actively profit from the warcrimes.
