Originated in China, Pugs are known by many for having lots of personality in a small frame. They were originally bred to be companion dogs, and today, they still remain as loving and entertaining family companions. However, just like all other dog breeds, there are certain pros and cons of Pugs that you need to consider before taking them home. Is this the right dog breed for everyone? For today’s video, we’ll talk about Pugs to help you decide if they are the perfect companions for your home!
A part of the American Kennel Club’s toy group, Pug is a compact dog breed but they have a lot to offer to your home. Not only will they be loving companions, but they will also make you laugh with their natural sense of humor. Surely, they are not known as the “clowns of the canine world” for nothing.
Since these dogs were bred for companionship, it is expected that they should never be left alone for long periods of time. True, they may be stubborn at times, but they make up for being social, playful, and easygoing. With that said, this breed makes a good choice even for a novice and first-time pet parent.
