    • A trading hall would make sence. For enchantments and diamond tools/weapons/armor. I always move my villager at night with beds trough a tunnel. I don‘t trust the workstations 😅

    • Make a villager-powered carrot and wheat farm. Carrots make golden carrots, and wheat is used for animal breeding & mud bricks. I have found that carrots work well with the type of farm where the villagers toss food to another villager in a minecart, but gets eaten by a hopper instead. Wheat is a bit trickier. You place hoppers under ~2/3 of your farm blocks and roll hopper carts diagonally into the farm blocks. This ensures that the wheat is collected before the villager gets it. The 1/3 of farm blocks that have no hoppers & hopper carts provide enough seed for the villager to replant. I am running 4x12 farms with cocoa beans planted along the outside rows for the alternating crop bonus. There are 2 bee hives at one end, aligned with the center row. At the other end are flowers to keep the bees constantly sprinkling the crops. You can even place the bed so that the villager steps on a pressure plate every time he sleeps/wakes. The pressure plate can be used to activate a piston harvesting system for a bamboo/sugar cane farm. If placed well, it works as well as any system that requires Nether access to build. An observer placed facing the villager bed would be even more reliable than the light detector, because villager sleep cycles are not affected by rain and thunderstorms. A wolf-powered wither skull farm would be cool.

  • The whole reason I started watching KZhead videos, other than specific tutorials, was to learn how to build. The more I watch, the more I learn, the closer I get to figuring out how I want to build up my own worlds. Your excitement does come through and is infectious. I love the balance you've developed of building, farms, and exploration.

  • In Bedrock edition, villagers can claim a bed even if they can't path-find to it. They will not unlink from the bed even if they can't reach it at night. So three beds in the breeder will only ever get you three villagers at once.

  • I followed your instructions to build this breeding syatem here and so far it's working great. I added a mechanism to let me flip a switch to block to stop/start the breeding.. I used the redstone light for the block to more so that it's on when it's not blocking & off when it's blocking them from the beds. It's working great. That was my first redstone contraption where I wasn't following someone else's plan for it. LOL

  • Here's an Idea... Turn the Cabin into the Storage Building (plenty of room in the basement) and then build yourself a modest (but awe-inspiring) living space floating directly over the ravine. Complete with switch-activated Trap Doors on the access Bridge to keep the monsters (and solicitors) out. Nothing says Big Peacock Energy like a house that's floating over a ravine. :) Also.. when I see that high roof with two big spaces on the sides.. I think... Monorail passthrough (like at the Disney Contemporary Resort in Florida).

  • with just an tiny bit of additional effort (and materials), you can add a low-yield bonemeal farm to your breeder setup by placing a hopper underneath your composter pointing into a chest. you just have to make sure the farmer has access to the composter (can't remember off the top of my head if that slab on top blocks their ability to use it or not) and preferably is in a spot that they won't/can't trample the farmland by trying to jump on it. once the villagers get to the point to where they have more carrots in their inventories than it takes to breed, they will compost extra carrots and earn you a little bit of easy automatic bonemeal. i usually try to build a villager breeder as soon as possible in my new worlds, so getting the slow-drip of bonemeal profits early on is quite nice.

Set up all the makings of capturing baby villagers etc, and then boat the villagers from the OG village, boat free fall all the way down. Place them inside the villager breeder village and boom. Easy transport, easy way to get babies captured.
