Intro Excerpt from Husavik by Atli Örvarsson
Never have I seen an Eurovision entry that so accurately predicts it's placement with it's title.
Being in the middle kind of requires some points from everyone. That isn't terribly likely.
Based on the odds….. it’s nowhere near the middle……
@@garryd7748 odds to win aren't always equivalent to final placement. A song (not talking about any particular song here just a hypothetical) could be deemed to be a top 15 contender but be universally understood to have no chance at winning, it's going to be lower than 15th in the winner odds
@@dk240996 I actually love Moldova… it’s not quite in my Top 10, but it’s close. I don’t think it’ll qualify though, which makes me sad.
I mean it’s not called NQ
cant wait to see you reacting to Nemo - The Code 😮
I had Luxembourg in my number 1 spot until Switzerland came out.
Just got to love Tylers facial expressions and his eyes rolling en speaking without words 😀 Makes me smile everytime 😀
we missed out on a fun song that actually won the televote by a landslide. anti-princess would have been one of the dancy eurodance songs we have this year.
Agreed!
I don’t think there’s supposed to be any harmony… it’s just Natalia singing… they were trying to make it look like there were clones of her so that it would be unsettling that it was just one woman singing… but ultimately it is just extremely confusing.
I kind of like this, especially the do-do-do-da-da bit. I gather that this isn’t super popular with the fandom for some reason but… I’m thinking it may do better than some seem to feel and possibly qualify. Nothing crazy after that of course. And I would welcome that.
I really like this song. One of my favorites this year.
You know what, I am not in the mood to complain about Moldova's entry this year. Considering SF#1 is the "bloodbath-esque" semi this year, coupled with the fact that I want Poland to make it to the GF, I'd say: "Tyvm, Moldova, for the sacrifice." lol P.S. Poland's "The Tower" is currently not in my Top Ten, but I really want that song in the finals.
Poland is one of my favorites too, top five. So enjoyable.
It's not. Over the season, semi 1 has got worse and semi 2 has got better. I think semi 2 is now stronger.
@@catrionacolville2192 Having reviewed the list as of today and knowing all songs... NAAAHHHH, this yr, SF#1 is still more congested. SF#2: My top ten prediction is far from being completely filled out.
@@emilkeithantonio9310 The point I'm making is that more songs from semi 2 will make top 10 and it will be as hard, or slightly to get out of semi 2, imo. The second half of semi 2 is pure quality.
@@catrionacolville2192: Yeah, so there's the problem with your first response. My comment was clearly all about the context of semi finals and the difficulty of qualification towards finals - it has nothing to do with the finals results at all.
my last place 🙈
Hm, interesting performance.
I think this has potential, but right now its just kind of pitchy and hard to listen to. I hope Moldova is able work out the kinks and are able to put their best foot forward.
They had some good stuff in their NF, and I was surprised they went with this. I don't mind it, but sadly I agree that it probably won't qualify.
Please react to the Netherlands!!!!
I didn't remember this song one bit. Apparently it's #19 for me.
I wonder how did you find 11 songs which you dislike more(30 songs are selected until now) ?
@Scheherasad It's weird, isn't it? I think at least my bottom five are songs I like actively dislike, and/or love to hate. Paradoxically, I'd rather listen to those than the ones right in the middle that I felt were too boring or meh to even judge too harshly. Latvia is my last pick. I hate it, but I also enjoy listening to it because I like hating it. This song I wouldn't choose to listen to for any reason, but I don't actively hate it. TL;Dr: I don't love to hate it, it's too meh.
Seems like they have had a bunch of ideas backstage and put them on stage five minutes later. And I am not talking about your ideas.
Only one of them were singing. Besides the lead.
I have this song on my playlist because it indicates the nature of Eurovision Song Contest. It is not meant to be too entertaining and dubious acts do come with the concept. The line-up's dresses look like a self-made and cheap crap.😳
Go POland reaction
This was just not good. The voices didn't work, the violins weren't in tune and it was an awkward transition, and the choreography was awful. Perhaps they can improve for ESC (at least the violins won't be live, so they should sound better), but it's going to take a lot to make this vote-worthy. As great as your ideas are for more interesting staging, I think if they drop the violin gimmick altogether, it would be a vast improvement.
Instruments are generally not wired on Eurovision and national final stages for obvious reasons of quickly switching from act to act. They're there for props (you can even tell by how most of them are "playing" the violin). If you think the violins are out of tune, unfortunately that's baked into the track, with or without the gimmick.
@@thebigtenfour Yes, on the ESC stage they are not live, but during a lot of the national finals they actually ARE live, which I think is the case here. I guess we shall see once we hit Malmo!
This song is just well, awful! Completely with you on the lack on harmonies. It made my ears hurt! Looking forward to your reaction to Switzerland 😀
I like it. It's very Eurovision-y. 😊
This had some good ideas, but it's a very no for me.
PS : My likes 👍 and dislikes 👎on your videos are for the music, not for you! ✌
Yeah... This entry actually pissed me off with how mediocre it is.
