This having Greek background music is the most American thing ever
As opposed to American music, which would be the most Greek thing ever?
Because Yurop is all the same. Finland, Iceland, Turkey, Greece, Italy, PARIS!
@@infiltr80r Nice english man. Didn't know that paris was a country lmfao
@@0xygen255 Wooosh.
@@infiltr80r Did you watch the People React To Their Own National Stereotypes video? One of them was an american dude that said "People who don't have guns in countries like Paris".
Actually Finnish language is one of the rare ones, which is pronounced exatly like wrote. That is why Finland has no word-competition. When Finnish children learn to read they learn to pronounce immediatly.
subrosa not rare actually..Malay/Indonesian, Tagalog also same..english pronounciation is actually rare..
Most germanic languages are pronounced like it spelled aswell, like swedish, danish and german.
That is not right. Those languages surely MOSTLY are phonetic, but not at all entirely. Maybe you just do not get it, cause you speak or understand them? It is usual misunderstanding.
subrosa I speak Swedish and its pronounced like it spelled.
I'm Finnish and I speak swedish as well, but it's no way near the same thing, maybe swedish does not have same issues as english has in that part but it's still way different
but why did you put greek music on the video?
I'm Greek and I just can't get it either.
"It´s all Greek to me" is an expression meaning you don´t understand anything. I think that´s why.
Greek language also have some freakish words and names though
Can you say skoulikomirmigotripa? It's actually written σκουληκομυρμηγκοτρυπα.
kmisi1 That's true. Wtf?!
Finnish skit. Greek background music. SMFH.

They accidentally inverted the flag. And searched for music with it.

Why the Greek music?
Finnish death metal isn't probably the right kind of music to a clip like this.
Rickard Elimää well maybe something like Finnish accabella singing or something like that.
Because it sounds rural and exotic.
Why not, do you think American music makes more sense?
yes.. because they are in america. most of the people on the video are american.. Greece has nothing to do with this.
At least Dunn tried his best
That doesn't say "airplane mechanic trainee". It's more like "Airplane jet turbine motor mechanic under-officer trainee".
It's the old "doomo arigatou gozaimasu nei = Thanks" joke
I was wondering why it was so long...
It's like to say in hungarian VISZONTLÁTÁSRA (mean good bye) hahaha
I love the finnish language. It has a nice phonetics, and i love the land and the people too.
You are smart one! Greetings from Finland!
As a Finnish person these type of videos are the best entertainment you can get
Tell me why Robin Lopez sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger reading those Finnish words?
lol
😂

He is from Finland not Greece dont play Greek music in the background that's just silly
There's a saying "it's all Greek to me." Thus the song.
Would you complain if it was American music?
Suomi on helppoo vaikka onkin maailman toisiks vaiken kieli
Europeans with sloping forehead and weird culture. Same thing.
It’s a calming music though. I like it.
Kris Dunn is great
Lauri sounds like that Google Translate guy LOL
I've been married to my 100% Finnish-background U.S. born wife since 1983. I've heard Finnish spoken so many times and yet I can only understand the most basic of words - those need to be explained to me. In my experience, trying to learn Finnish is about as easy as trying to catch a fast moving greased piggy only funnier.
Fun fact: the things hard for us Finns are usually perceived as easier to learn for English speakers for example and the other way around too. And also, it's easy to learn if you have a competive teacher and proper material. You can't really have an Estonian/Russian gopnik teaching Finnish and expect no mistakes, right.
we want more of these!
As a Swedish person living in Finland, learning Finnish is pain. I wish I could speak Finnish but I struggle real hard with it so does many other Swedish people in Finland. If any of y'all think Finnish is easy, think again.
Just live in vaasa och det e helt ok

Look, bro, I'm Estonian, and our language is closely related to Finnish. But ours is easier. I can definitely say some of Finnish words without a problem, but that last one was just OMG even for me xD I mean, sure, the word is a sentence in English and you can take the word apart, but still sort of hard for me. Estoians and Finns = bros ^^
I can say about 5 words in estonian.

@Riku?
As a Finnish person, this is hilarious😭😂😂😂😂

omg please do more of these!! xD
0:09 u can tell that he thinks finnish is kinda like russian Edit: it's not
He has a French accent (I dunno who he is, I came here for the language), and also Russian language took over from French the habit of stressing the last syllable; French language was very popular among Russian aristocracy in the 19th century. ^^
Some people do that when they try to speak Polish and make it offensive. Ending up to sound like Ukrainian migrants.
No it’s not I am American but fluent in Finnish
Finnish is a Finno-ugric language, and it is not related in Russia. But most Finno-ugric languages and ethnic groups are in Russia (all except Finns, Estonians and Hungarians)
@@KateeAngel As an Estonian and a linguist, I concur :)

prodbymont what The heck is The last one isnt IT just vuohi
and the Finnish dude has a good speaking voice too!
"Help" is actually normally said just "apua", and "saippuakivikauppias" means "soapstonesalesman", and it's not only airplane mechanic trainee, it's much more than it
Did you noticed you who don't speak finnish?? Read saippuakivikauppias backwards then you mind will blown
slowpudda read backwards: "saippuakullipyllypillukauppias"
oho xd
Yeah..finnish and mostly estonian also know the word which is same when u read it backward.

PART TWO!!!!
This is gold
Why the music is greek bouzouki?
Damn, "auttakaa" was perfectly understandable finnish from all of them! I guess it's just the extra dots on top of letters confusing people so much. 1:01 is way more complicated than the translation, though. It basically means airplane turbojet engine assisting mechanic NCO trainee.
is the whole word that long? is it all just one word for specific airplane mechanic that is so important enough to have a word for it? lol And also what's with a word for soap salesmen?
@@WaveRider1989 Well if there is a trainee like that, then yes, it is important enough to have a word for it.

Lauri is a great player
This is harder than Antetokounmpo
Much harder. The words are jumbled up when in other languages it's a sentence with spaces between the words. At least the words are pronounced just like how they are written.
And why is there Greek music in the background??
