Malaka Regency is drowning. Flash flood in 26 villages, Indonesia
Heavy rains in the past week triggered flooding in Malaka District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). At least 11 villages in the West Malaka sub-district and 15 villages in the Central Malaka sub-district, were submerged in water. The Malaka Regency Government has deployed 13 tankers to supply clean water for flood-affected communities. Meanwhile, the health team prepared Fahiluka Puskesmas, Puskesmas Besikama, and Puskemas Weliman, to deal with flood-affected communities.
