I used to watch Molt and Nick in middle school, Molt, before he hit his first million. I'm a student pilot in the Navy now. Still occasionally watch Molt as a nostalgia thing. It's because Nick was all a front. That wasn't the real nick. Trans people often change hugely when they come to accept themselves. Once they no longer feel like they have to hide being themselves they have to start a new trying to discover what they really like with this new life.

If one of my best friends were to do something like this even though I feel like I am pretty progressive I don’t know how easily I could deal with it. Look at Chris from MrBeast he is still friends with the people from before even though his personality has changed somewhat. I feel bad for Molt but I understand that being in the wrong body can be mentally extremely challenging

Volt can be very religious and that's not a negative but it's been hinted that they weren't exactly accepting of the new Nick. Mr beast is very different because since day one he was extremely supportive of the new Chris and was very outspoken defending them online.

Molt and Nick were such a huge part of my early teen/pre-teen years. I actually hadn’t heard about this until very recently, and it’s hard to hear about especially hearing the pain in molts voice when he talks about it. You can tell just from his voice how genuine every word was and how much this meant to him, and im glad he is doing better with it as time goes on.

This is the first I’ve heard of any of this, and it’s so tough to watch a firsthand example of what a lot of people are going through on both sides of the issue. One of the things that seems common with people who transition is they think the world is out to get them, meanwhile Christians like Molt are trying to figure out how to communicate with their friends and colleagues respectfully while still holding true to their beliefs. It’s weird and difficult for everyone, and it’s a shame that the comments have basically become a battleground because apparently only one person is allowed to be struggling and the other needs to get in line and shut up like a good little lap dog. Why is it so hard to admit that this situation is difficult for both parties, and have a reasonable discussion about how to best help the people that are struggling with things like gender dysphoria? The answer isn’t either one of “tell them they were made that way for a reason and it shouldn’t be changed” or “tell them to transition.” The first one is about as effective as telling someone to “walk it off” when they’ve broken their leg, and the second is putting a band-aid on that same broken leg. Neither one of those approaches reaches the heart of the issue, which is that someone is having a very hard time accepting themself for who they are feel like something drastic needs to be changed in order to be able to accept themself. But nobody makes it that far in the discussion because one side stops the conversation before it’s allowed to start. I’ve seen that happen both ways, mind you. Probably the worst of it is that this whole issue has become so political that the actual people dealing with these difficulties get completely ignored. Neither side seems to actually care about the people involved, just the morality of some vague public policy and medical practice that, in most cases, doesn’t affect them at all. TL:DR; it’s hard to watch this situation happen as a bystander, but it’s so much worse looking at the “discussion” around it where everybody talks past each other and nobody presents any evidence of their points, while completely losing sight of the people that are actually struggling on both sides of the equation. Modern political discourse is disgusting and a plague on the West as a whole. Grow up and learn to appreciate each other, as well as how to have a disagreement without flipping a lid and resorting to childish behavior like name-calling, ad hominem fallacies, and straw man arguments. You want respect? Act worthy of being respected, and ignore the idiots that are incapable of forming logical arguments. That goes for both extremes. We’re all people here. Treat each other like people for crying out loud

This was a blast from the past… to hear the years Molt had with his personal family and this too? We really are in the worst timeline. I remember coming home from practice and binging their videos while I studied, and you could feel the positive energy from Molt in every video. Incredibly sad but goes to show the true genuine soul that Michael really is, open and honest. Not a single negative comment yet on the other side apparently is hating on Molt for some reason? Molt and Nick felt more like business associates than best friends. Something was off the whole time i just dont think we will ever know. Nicole made a comment in one of her livestreams on KZhead about 6 months ago saying Molt was a bully and towards the end Molt would force Nick to make videos with him. I think their relationship was bad for the past few years. Nicole has taken it too far with all the Porn. Molt seems like he knows he could have possibly done more. Just a tough situation all around. I never saw this coming. If you would have told me in 2017 that NickatNyte would be a trans-woman making porn in 2023, id never believe that.

I highly doubt the bully accusation, Nick has said some wild things about everything ever since his transition. I guess there was indeed tension between them the last few years. Nick could've possible opened up about his transgender transition earlier to Molt and Molt possible felt awkward or wrong about it being a Christian. Of course we'll never know

It's crazy how quickly someone running a successful, stable KZhead channel went from that to removing all their videos and running an onlyfans. Say what you will about transitioning and all that, but your personality and interests changing so violently like this are not signs of a healthy individual. It sucks because once you walk down that road there's no way back, and changing yourself is never going to make you as happy as you hope it will. I think happiness lies in accepting who you are, not changing it to fit how you want the world to see you.

I used to watch Molt and Nick in middle school, Molt, before he hit his first million. I'm a student pilot in the Navy now. Still occasionally watch Molt as a nostalgia thing. Molt and Nick were such a huge part of my early teen/pre-teen years. I actually hadn’t heard about this until very recently, and it’s hard to hear about especially hearing the pain in molts voice when he talks about it. You can tell just from his voice how genuine every word was and how much this meant to him, and im glad he is doing better with it as time goes on.

This is the first I’ve heard of any of this, and it’s so tough to watch a firsthand example of what a lot of people are going through on both sides of the issue. One of the things that seems common with people who transition is they think the world is out to get them, meanwhile Christians like Molt are trying to figure out how to communicate with their friends and colleagues respectfully while still holding true to their beliefs. It’s weird and difficult for everyone, and it’s a shame that the comments have basically become a battleground because apparently only one person is allowed to be struggling and the other needs to get in line and shut up like a good little lap dog. Why is it so hard to admit that this situation is difficult for both parties, and have a reasonable discussion about how to best help the people that are struggling with things like gender dysphoria? The answer isn’t either one of “tell them they were made that way for a reason and it shouldn’t be changed” or “tell them to transition.” The first one is about as effective as telling someone to “walk it off” when they’ve broken their leg, and the second is putting a band-aid on that same broken leg. Neither one of those approaches reaches the heart of the issue, which is that someone is having a very hard time accepting themself for who they are feel like something drastic needs to be changed in order to be able to accept themself. But nobody makes it that far in the discussion because one side stops the conversation before it’s allowed to start. I’ve seen that happen both ways, mind you. Probably the worst of it is that this whole issue has become so political that the actual people dealing with these difficulties get completely ignored. Neither side seems to actually care about the people involved, just the morality of some vague public policy and medical practice that, in most cases, doesn’t affect them at all. TL:DR; it’s hard to watch this situation happen as a bystander, but it’s so much worse looking at the “discussion” around it where everybody talks past each other and nobody presents any evidence of their points, while completely losing sight of the people that are actually struggling on both sides of the equation. Modern political discourse is disgusting and a plague on the West as a whole. Grow up and learn to appreciate each other, as well as how to have a disagreement without flipping a lid and resorting to childish behavior like name-calling, ad hominem fallacies, and straw man arguments. You want respect? Act worthy of being respected, and ignore the idiots that are incapable of forming logical arguments. That goes for both extremes. We’re all people here. Treat each other like people for crying out loud
