actually, no. Açai is from the north of Brazil and they eat it like that, in liquid form. The smoothie is just some adaptation that the other regions did

@@lolz8157 actually, the 'american one' is also from brazil, from the other parts of the country where they like to eat it cold and with the smoothie texture. There is no such thing as "American Açai"
I am from Belem, the land of Açaí. We eat it in liquid form with ice, sugar (optimal) and a little bit of casava flour( the ones that look like breadcrumbs) we like to eat it together with dried meat or dried shrimp. The rest of Brazil eat it in a more thicker and icy form with banana and granola.
When she “cancelled Costco’s” açaí bowl, I cried a little. I love that bowl 😂😂

the blue smoothie from jamba is the vanilla blue sky and it’s the healthiest smoothie we have. the blue stuff is a natural vitamin taken from a plant so it’s not candy or anything bad for ypu😂

I love Acai but I prefer it when it’s less melted and more like a smooth ice cream! And if there Acai bowls then to decorate the fruits more instead of just laying them flat! usually where I used to live we’d eat it with powdered milk granola or condensed milk, although I get why people would prefer a more healthier version ^^
My favorite snack every! I usually get the packs from Costco and mix it up in my blender with almond milk and frozen fruit.

What I do with my dole acai bowls is I get the bowl and I blend the acai in a blender and top it with some fruit and the granola topping and when you do that it tastes really good I definitely recommend it

The fact that i'm brazilian and live in Brasília(The same city that her family lives) and always go to Mormai(the restaurant she mencionated) is so crazy. Btw this restaurant is in my favorite place in the city called "Pontão", it's just so beautiful.

Acai jungle cafe in Burbank California is sooooo good! It’s pure acai not mixed with anything else and you get a few toppings and it’s perfect! I really recommend and it’s probably my fav food!
