  • after almost 3 decades, jpn reached semi-finals and WON!❤😭 well deserved win!❤ i was so stressed and frustrated italy would win, i was rooting for japan eversince i saw the vbc. and when they won, i cried but it was at the middle of the night so i cried silently of happiness. although japan may not be my national country, i will aleays root for thm!!

  • Such a great game. Beautiful volleyball plays all around. But you could see around the end of the 2nd set, and evidently in the 3rd set that Italy really started to get super frustrated, particularly at the lead of their coach and captain’s attitudes. Whereas Japan kept level headed the whole time and didn’t let their mistakes bring them down, which brought great morale to the team in the long run. Though both teams were basically neck and neck, a strong mental as a team really makes all the difference.

  • Both teams played really well, especially in the second set were they were all on the same point one after another. Biggest thing Italy lost points from was their serves though, they should improve their serves as they lost close to 10 points just from service failure. Their block is insane though.

  • Japan is not only the most sympathic team, it is also the most joyable to watch. Amazing how they played against the much taller spaghettis (not meant offensive, i like spaghettis :-)). It is like boys vs men. The combinations of the japan attacks are like a video game and Ishikawa has an extreme explosive arm pull on attack. It is wonderful to see the fun on their faces. Great team!

  • Que maravilla ver jugar a estos 2 equípasos, Japón es increíble, Nishida una maquina de puntos y salta con una facilidad wow, y Italia no por nada es actualmente campion europeo y mundial, osea juegan muy bien sobre todo bloqueo y ataque pues no es para menos son altos mas de 2 metros casi todos, madre mía es una delicia mirar estos partidos ❤
