Chopped and Swapped Classic Datsun Roadster With the Cleanest N/A SR20 Ever!

When you run a business called "Japanese Classics", you better have a solid calling card of a build - and it's safe to say that Chris Bishop's chop-top Datsun 1600 roadster means business. Inspired by 60s era racecars, this SR20DE swapped gem shows how dope a modernized classic can really be.

  • I had a Datsun 2000 Fairlady Roadster in British racing green with a full roll cage and white hard top. Really fun car to drive. Had to do a lot of work to it. Pulled the motor with transmission so I could send the transmission out for rebuilding, then pulled the head off for servicing. That was back in the day you could actually do this stuff in your driveway. Anyway, most excellent build. Love the color and flaring. Those tail lights...!

  • I love it... I owned a 68-69 SRL-311. This is what I always wanted mine to look like.
