More electrical stuff...in case you haven't noticed, the electrical side of this job might be the biggest part, and it has to be done right. Should also mention why I struggled with the spanner to tighten up the oil sender; the hex bar was 1" and I don't have any imperial sockets that big 😅

  • Am using the Subaru harness off 2000 Subaru 2.5 in 1986 vw westy that was modified. I get a check engine code p0122 tps low voltage.which is causing high ide 1600 never gos down I replace everything in the engine sensor throttle body went through the harness I’ve been trying to figure this out now for a year .I did buy a haltech 1500 when I started this project but I ended up using Subaru stock harness thinking that it would be nice and smooth but no. I see you are using 750 haltech how difficult was it to wire and the programming. Appreciate any advice you have thanks again Martin from the states.

    • Not difficult to wire into the stock Subaru engine harness if you know how to crimp and have a factory wiring diagram. Although I did end up re-making the engine harness from scratch but simplified (see part 9) Connectors for everything on the engine are available from iWire in the USA. In regards to programming, I'm a total noob with ECU tuning. I only managed to get it to run, just with the base map. I got it to a dyno session as soon as I could.
