From a driver of 28 years: OVERconfidence is a driver’s worst enemy
Totally agree
Disagree. You gotta be confident to do anything right. Why is driving any different? Confidence and stupidity is very different.
@@kinotroikgames2818 he probably meant carelessness that comes with overconfidence. I recently had this experience while travelling with an experienced driver, he took a sharp turn because of being confident and one tyre almost got off the cliff.
Overconfidence.
@@kinotroikgames2818 there’s a difference between being confident and being overconfident, most people killed on roads are the ones those people knew..
No matter how good you are, you can't expect other drivers to be perfect.
Fact
That was the first things that my father taught me when he started giving me driving lessons. "While driving, Imagine that everyone in a car around you is stupid and that they might do stupid things" That lesson protected me for 12 years.
When driving assume everyone is a MANIAC!
@@attackhelicopter588 that too haha

After watching this video, you can tell the rules of the roads in India: 1. Make sure your horn is working, you will use it more than any other part of the car. 2. Whoever drives the biggest machine has the right of way. 3. Whenever in doubt about the driving speed on a road, think about the maximum safe speed and then do double that number. 4. Rule no. 3 is to be applied especially on portions of road that are damaged or under construction! 5. Do not forget about Rule no. 1! 6. Make sure you don't wear any seatbelt, especially when standing in the front of a bus following all of the above rules (in all honesty, it would be completely futile)
You only forgot about the animals in the middle of the street, who literally don't give a fuss about a bus running them over...

Brought back some memories. I have travelled to India 3 times and spent almost an year in total. Himachal was one my favourite destination along with Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Amazing people and cultures. Roads quality has certainly improved in last 7 years, the time I last went to Himachal roads weren't bad but definitely not this good. Advice for my fellow black people is to talk with young locals, they're little shy but very welcoming though some elderly were rude to me and a bit racist. Also if they call you n-word, don't get offended because the most Indians think that it's a cool word we blacks use between friends. They don't mean to offend you or racially discriminate. Safe travels brothers/sisters
Well most of indians don't know this N word..those who know it r young generation, Internet using people..they don't know what this word means.. because they don't history behind this word...and well it's is always good to take some local guy with u while traveling in india. because indians don't see foreigners often... specially when u travelling in rural India ..

Driving a bus with a manual transmission is tough enough to be able to cruise fast in a high steep road. This driver must have driven this road so many times that it has become second nature to him. No sign of cautious expression on his face and enjoying it. 😎

Most of you need to know Volvo has its own very stringent driver training programs in India for the buses they sell to their customers. Only their certified drivers get to drive Volvo buses. It's impressive how smoothly he is driving, not just fast. Hardly any sudden breaks of speed. The bus is in good hands, not to worry. It costs a lot and this chap is trusted by the owner, so no need to get anxious.
