@@onlyskyisthelimit8814 that's to be expected with all Japanese releases because they don't promote as much. Many SKZ casual fans and even baby Stay don't even follow the Japanese accounts (because they think it's the same as the original but translated to Japanese) and are not aware that there are so many different releases from the main account. It's like Japanese releases are an obscure subunit lol

It's crazy to me how stable their vocals are while dancing such a hard choreo!
They've said that they've had to work on breath control while dancing and that it's hard work but that's why they train. I can't remember which one but one of the members said that Felix is the only one that has trouble with breath control at times. Something about how Felix sometimes loses his breath when he's dancing a lot and singing at the same time, so that's why he doesn't tend to have a lot of lines in the beginning of the song. The best thing about Stray Kids live performances are that they never lipsynch, I never knew that. I read that one of the main things about Stray Kids is to get rid of the misconception that all kpop bands lipsynch and never sing live at live performances. So that's why they never lipsynch. I think I also read somewhere that JYP asked SKZ to lipsynch once just to see what it would be like and SKZ were so bad at it that JYP said, "Okay, NEVER lipsynch, you guys are horrible at it!" Hahaha! I think they said the only one that's ever lipsynched a few lines was Felix and it was because of his uneven breath control. And they only had him do it in the beginning part of a song and he sang live in the later part of it. I actually think some of the LIVE performances of songs are better than the MV and studio versions xD. For "Scars" I think the best version they've ever done is THE FIRST TAKE youtube channel one. They did the entire song in "one take" thus the name xD

Sadly there was a lot of lipsynching pre recorded in Maniac era. I feel like it's a heavy trend these days. I'm glad that the latest performances have been live again, but maybe it's a Japan thing. About struggling to sing live, I've noticed Hyunjin sometimes lets the backtrack do the job and focuses on his dancing. About Felix, sometimes I can't tell if he's lipsynching or just singing very low. I think there are some technical issues because he sings in different tones, which means singing lower or louder sometimes, and he only has one mic that needs to be adjusted for an impossible range. He probably should have two different mics with different setting
Oh, also Seungmin is the one I notice struggling the most but it's perfectly normal with his high notes
@@satanissima You can't let the backtrack do the job if you are an idol though. Hyunjin is to the point he almost can't sing live. Also Seungmin is definitely good at breath control.

My personal favorite line was "my scars I'll show it all" It was such a short phrase but yet it holds a lot of meanings behind. For me I interpreted it as "it's okay to have wound and scars, since that's what makes you today. Do not be ashamed of your scars as it marks your long fight against something, and I'm proud with the fact that you won through it no matter how long it takes. Show all your scars, no human are perfect, so love yourself the way you are. Scars will reminds you of how strong you are"

Every single member absolutely SLAYED and I was in a state of shock the whole time. Seungmin's solo mic dance break and center moments are my reason to live and Han's expression every time he sings a high note makes my heart beat out of my literal chest. I really feel like Scars, especially this video, is underrated because the heavenly vocals and backtracks make me cry every time.

I’ll never get tired of hearing this song. The lyrics are so beautifully written, I feel as though I am almost experiencing them myself. Scars are seen as ugly and are usually kept hidden whether they are physical or metaphorical. But scars are what make us who we are. Stray Kids have their own scars and instead of following the stigma, they created beauty and showed others that you shouldn’t be afraid of your scars because they show your strength, your struggle, and your sacrifice. I can never get over the raps in this song because they are so impactful. Whenever Changbin hits the ‘tattoo’ line, I just get hit with so much emotion because scars are truly permanent just like a tattoo. The vocals are absolutely well done throughout this entire song. I’m not sure about others, but hearing the falsettos make me feel like I’m floating to heaven, an ethereal feeling is what I feel hearing their falsettos. And their choreography? Oh my gods their choreography. It tells a story, the story of this song, of their scars. It’s wonderfully executed and I absolutely love the dance break by DANCERACHA because I feel like we rarely get to see them doing dances as their subunit. The visuals don’t need any explanation. But give a bonus to whoever the fashion stylist was for this performance because their outfits were ON POINT. Scars will forever be one of my favorite all-time Stray Kids songs ❤️
