    • No, Antony because you don't realize that Phil won the CBA title in 1984 (CBA was a poorer version of today's D League). He has won w/ no names and with big names. No one wins 10 by luck. Yes, Jordan and Shaq/Kobe helped a great deal, but he also won 2 with the post Shaq teams. He left the team in 04 and came back in 05/6 and started all over with Kobe and he eventually got a subsuperstar in Pau Gasol out of thin air (for Kwame, lucked into it). He didn't have superteams his entire career. He's the kind of coach who is specifically!....specifically there to get a good team over the top. Think of this year's Clips or Bucks. They only wish they had a Phil.

    • @@hubster4477 He's in the FO tho. Not everyone can do both. That was Red Auerbach's claim for being better than Phil because he was a good GM. Well, that has nothing to do with one's coaching. They're two different jobs entirely.

    • huntrrr gatherrr the zen thing was a part of his coaching. Shaq even talks about it in an interview. I don’t see any chips for the bulls before him or any chips in LA since he left and they hadn’t won since 1989 with Pat Riley. Dude coached 3 different 3 peats and a back to back 11 rings as a coach and 2 as a player and the best win percentage in nba history. Come on now don’t be dense.
