The video doesn't answer your title... you just did a comparison video of 2 samsung cases. I would like to know if the official samsung case is worth getting over generic.
I droped my S23U in iys 2nd day from 1m on some ceramic tiles. I was using a Samsung plastic case (the one with the bottom exposed). The phone survived without any scratch. Yet now im using a silicone Spigen, very grippy and an UAG Plasma for the look.
I bought a clear silicone case off of Amazon for 15 bucks that comes with a built-in screen protector. The back, sides and camera are covered really well... But the built-in front screen protector is not the greatest equality and I'm already starting to get little divots in it but for 15 bucks it'll do for now until I can get something better
Hi just wanted to know what charging station you used in the video? Do you perhaps have a video on charging stations? I Have a Samsung S22 Ultra, Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy watch 5 and looking for a good quality charging station....any suggestions would be awesome! Thanx in advance! #GodBless

Are the insides of edges covered in leather? I have a 3rd party silicon case and it's scratching my frame. Finish is chipping away. Is there any lining inside to protect the frame??
I have the silicone one for like three months and it's corners are already scuffed up...and no I didn't drop the phone...
Very good comparative. In my opinion the leather case is much more premium, elegant, classy and this year Samsung has beautiful colors to choose.

Leather also gets much darker over time from hand oils. Not good
I've got the silicone case for the s22 ultra, I though the silicone wouldn't change over time but it did, it has some wear from everyday use, I recently ordered the leather case for my s22 ultra since I'm planning on keeping it for a long time, hopefully the leather case will satisfy my need:)
I've seen that the leather cases, especially the lighter colored ones, wear out quickly. I think they used Acura leather.
Is this support camera protector?
It's all very well unless you from it fave down on an uneven surface like gravel as the case is useless
what about the smart wallet? they seem similar but the smart wallet for 23 ultra looks like like it wont protect the phone
I just wanted to see how easy did u removed the "phone" from the cover. 😅
Its too sticky, hard to get it in and out of the pockets. Even the pockets would come out or it will tear.😢

I'm not sure how long it takes to order the case by itself. I got mine when I pre-ordered the S23 Ultra and it came with the phone.

I have the s23 ultra leather case in camel. It's great, looks nice, and is very nice to hold. However the leather isnt durable at all. The edges of the case develop scuff very quickly, and it's easy to scratch the leather. All four sides of the case are dark from scuff now, and there are lots of fine scratches. I only have the case for a month! It's still on though. I love the case. It doesnt make my phone fat, and it looks great.

I bought the black case, and in less than a week it has scuff marks that will make any OCD s23 ultra owner go nuts
I dropped mine on the road.. and guess what.. it scratches like hell
Well that's the beauty of leather.. the more it ages the more beautiful it will look...unlike silicone and plastic case.. the scuffs, dings and color changes adds character which is unique
That's normal for light color leather cases. They get dark with use. That's why i always go for dark colors.

Since i started using smartphones, as i remember, I have never had a camera protector, and i never got a single scratch on the lenses. You buy a smartphone designed to be attractive and cool and at the you hide every single part of it. That's not normal. Use a case and a screen protector and you are ready to go. 😅
Good content. You seriously think the lip protection on those cases is substantial 😂. What would you call the lip protection on the supcase unicorn beetle pro or poetic spartan or otterbox defender pro or DEXNOR, epic.

Not leather, but plastic with some sort of coating.
Can the leather support ESR magsafe ring?
I did try the magsafe ring on the back and it actually worked surprisingly well. However, ESR does advise that the ring doesn't work as well on leather cases as it does on flat cases. Perhaps it works well on Samsung's leather case becasue it isn't as textured as some other leather cases could be 🤷♂️. Either way, it worked great for me with short term use, but I don't know how it would stick over a course of weeks/months.

I don't understand why our phones need to be made out glass front back at all. There are literally Thousands of other materials out there that would do a better job, be more durable and still feel premium. We're already putting cases on them so the glass on the back serves ZERO purpose. It's insane. In my experience samsung cases offer very limited protection and are dramatically over priced.

@@frekko true, I was thinking more of things like aluminum etc. because OP was talking about materials with a premium feel and that doesn't work afaik.
metal blocks electromagnwtix waves aka radio waves...so not only the wireless charging will not work but also the phone signals will stop working
