    @jackrice2770@jackrice277017 күн бұрын
  • "Economic Policies" is always their go-to answer. Whether they can articulate what that means, or show any material benefits to the average American, is another story entirely. Basically she's saying she has parents who are Republicans and has been taught the myth that things like trickle-down economics actually work. Regarding the border policies and in particular family separation, she worked for the Trump administration after that completely inhumane fiasco. During a time that it started to become known that many children were permanently separated from their parents due to horrendous record keeping. So, she doesn't really have an excuse to distance herself. If anything, it's worse to have known what that administration was capable of, and to subsequently take a job offer from them. At least those who were with Trump from the beginning could potentially claim ignorance of what he would eventually do. She doesn't have that luxury, but seems to want to act like she does. Lastly, the "Trump as a disruptor" fallacy is just too much. She's an intelligent person, so I have a hard time believing she actually thought that. If she did, then she has a serious blind-spot. The problem with our system is that people with power (i.e. money) are able to buy the influence of politicians via our absurd campaign finance laws. Then the politicians remain in a position of indebtedness to such special interests, to the detriment of the average person. Trump admittedly played that system before his political career, across both sides of the aisle. By placing Trump in direct political power, we didn't disrupt such a system. We made it worse by cutting out the middle man.

    • @Zronek Top ten warning signs that a group may be a cult. #8. Lying. Lying in furtherance of the cause is acceptable. This may include outright lies (“2 + 2 = 5”) or lies of omission, where the group “spins” a truth to their advantage, while ignoring any aspects that do not support their position. If questioned about their lie, they will often resort to insults and personal attacks. (See #3 Argumentum ad hominem.) Note the opposite is also true: cultic groups will accuse others of lying when they are telling verifiable truth. Also note that merely repeating a mistruth may not be lying if the person is misled and willing to be corrected. Social media is particularly susceptible to groups and followers telling lies, as no-one will dare correct the group or leader for fear of retaliation. This can lead to anonymous accounts and “trolling” as people do not want to reveal their true identity and the reasons behind their lies.

Deadbeat dad's don't want to be stuck with alimony and other financial responsibilities of parenthood. I'm sure there are genuinely good men from all races who want to champion women's rights, but there's also a lot who knows Republicans lawmakers aren't going to always have their best interests with everything involved with abortions and abortion rights.

His legacy was damaged from way back in the day when he was doing real estate business in New York, he wasn't respected by the people that worked for him then, most of the people he worked with in the campaign and White House have either gone to jail or paid huge fines just from working with him. Just the fact that Hope Hicks really thought he was a great guy shows me she didn't have a clear picture of what kind of human being he was from her beginning with him. I am glad that so many like Sarah Matthews, Stephanie Winston Wilcox, John Kelly, Rex Tillerson, Bill Barr, and Mike Pompeo decided to tell the world what they really thought about him.
