The members of BTS already treat others with such humility, respect and kindness there is no higher bar. Military Conscription usually breaks those wwith successful careers whose lives are divided into 1) when I was a ____________Star and 2) after conscription. I can count and name on the fingers of one hand those whose lives were improved by binning their hard won success for conscripted nonentity and suffering. Do toy believe SUFFERING makes better people of us? You would be wrong. Statistics and data show that unrelieved suffering CAUSES 1) suicide 2) substance abuse 3) depression and self-abuse 4) homelessness 5) alienation from peer group 6) bankruptcy ______shall I go on???

I notice that they are all his seniors who are not as well-known or popular anymore instead of the younger, more current & popular stars like Park Bo Gum, Park Seo Joon etc. I think that shows his sincerity and gratitude towards his elders. For me, that’s what makes him a ‘star’.

Dude these people are more well known than park bo gum or park Seo joon in Korea. Mostly the younger audience knows these actors but majority of the Korean audience knows these older people because they are really popular MC’s/ comedians. Especially ji seokjin, my friends are Korean and trust me almost everyone in Korea knows who he is same with norazo (the green guy). Kim namgil is a very well respected actor in Korea too who was frequently voted the sexiest man by Korean women and had lots of endorsements . Also that chef is amongst the most popular chef in Korea who comes on a very popular variety show. Solbi is also decently popular because she was a part of a famous girl group of her time. Just because they are old does not mean they are not popular, these people can really rival bts’s popularity in Korea because they are a household name !

Rose How lucky you are to have korean friends to help you be so knowledgeable about such things but I was merely trying to say that he is comfortable and respectful towards older people, that he doesn’t just ally himself with the younger set who are more global in appeal. In other words he believes in being inclusive. Also, BTS don’t limit themselves to only their domestic market but also venture into the international market so people like me now know about them more so than we do the older celebs but thanks for the education anyway.

BTS might not do that, they might enlist in a 'normal' schedule for male idols. We must support them with whatever their decision is as a team and individuals. We're not BTS members. A petition would do nothing and might cause distress for BTS because we're telling them their decision is wrong. We shouldn't be telling them how to live their lives. I'm not Korean so I can't speak over Koreans in this matter also.

I've been following BTS from their Rookie era. I was in my middle school year and as I grow up with them I started to live by Jin's wisdom. His story, personality, and songs really help me change to be a better person. He was not my bias before but as BTS grew he became my most treasured member for the impact his words and songs had in my life. I'm truly grateful to find an idol that I can look up as a role model. I love him so much.

I'm so proud to say that Jin's my bias. He is what really anchored me into BTS, his looks were everything but as the years go by I can see that it's his whole character and personality that I love just as much if not more. He's respectful, he's funny af, he's confident af, he's extremely talented and he's a goofball and I'm so proud of his accomplishments. All these boys do is give me more and more reasons to keep cheering them on. I want them to leave a permanent historical mark in musical history and I'm so happy that we all get to be a part of it

The members of BTS already treat others with such humility, respect and kindness there is no higher bar. Military Conscription usually breaks those wwith successful careers whose lives are divided into 1) when I was a ____________Star and 2) after conscription. I can count and name on the fingers of one hand those whose lives were improved by binning their hard won success for conscripted nonentity and suffering. Do toy believe SUFFERING makes better people of us? You would be wrong. Statistics and data show that unrelieved suffering CAUSES 1) suicide 2) substance abuse 3) depression and self-abuse 4) homelessness 5) alienation from peer group 6) bankruptcy ______shall I go on???
i cried at the first clip when jin brought the hyungs to the front stage and when sleepy said jin offered to help him.
I notice that they are all his seniors who are not as well-known or popular anymore instead of the younger, more current & popular stars like Park Bo Gum, Park Seo Joon etc. I think that shows his sincerity and gratitude towards his elders. For me, that’s what makes him a ‘star’.
Dude these people are more well known than park bo gum or park Seo joon in Korea. Mostly the younger audience knows these actors but majority of the Korean audience knows these older people because they are really popular MC’s/ comedians. Especially ji seokjin, my friends are Korean and trust me almost everyone in Korea knows who he is same with norazo (the green guy). Kim namgil is a very well respected actor in Korea too who was frequently voted the sexiest man by Korean women and had lots of endorsements . Also that chef is amongst the most popular chef in Korea who comes on a very popular variety show. Solbi is also decently popular because she was a part of a famous girl group of her time. Just because they are old does not mean they are not popular, these people can really rival bts’s popularity in Korea because they are a household name !
Rose How lucky you are to have korean friends to help you be so knowledgeable about such things but I was merely trying to say that he is comfortable and respectful towards older people, that he doesn’t just ally himself with the younger set who are more global in appeal. In other words he believes in being inclusive. Also, BTS don’t limit themselves to only their domestic market but also venture into the international market so people like me now know about them more so than we do the older celebs but thanks for the education anyway.

BTS might not do that, they might enlist in a 'normal' schedule for male idols. We must support them with whatever their decision is as a team and individuals. We're not BTS members. A petition would do nothing and might cause distress for BTS because we're telling them their decision is wrong. We shouldn't be telling them how to live their lives. I'm not Korean so I can't speak over Koreans in this matter also.

I've been following BTS from their Rookie era. I was in my middle school year and as I grow up with them I started to live by Jin's wisdom. His story, personality, and songs really help me change to be a better person. He was not my bias before but as BTS grew he became my most treasured member for the impact his words and songs had in my life. I'm truly grateful to find an idol that I can look up as a role model. I'm so proud to say that Jin's my bias. He is what really anchored me into BTS, his looks were everything but as the years go by I can see that it's his whole character and personality that I love just as much if not more.
