  • Everyone talk about African American youth and the black community. I don't see anyone talking about the thousands that were marching on may 25th, 2019 in Washington D.C.

But The admiration n love from the outsiders is breath taken. Glad god blessed me n all the other thousands of talented hop children.

  • Im in Melbourne, Australia, just been alone in my flat for most of 6 mths now due to Covid, havent seen my own kids 4 months. I was raised on jazz, my dad shoved it down my throat & now I play 'bone & teach. This performance brought tears to my eyes the 1st time I heard & now every time I listen. It's just beautiful, uniquely & rarely beautiful. The playing just touches you, like deep deep down in your soul; full of love, humanity & empathy. It just hits a spot, so hard to put in words. It has to be the best, most musical low brass ensemble I've ever heard. Who did the arrangement, as, again, it's beyond words. It's heavenly whoever put it together. King's original is a work of art in itself but this is one of those rare, rare occasions where a cover reaches it's own heights, like with some of Ray Charles' recordings. This performance has made me love the original [& this] more & more, I keep listening to one after the other [& also found the rehearsal vid on FB] & they both sound better & better. Thankyou to this band for making me feel human again.
