I have been watching you for 7 years now and you are still my favourite channel. Well done ZeeCrew
The ages of the old people have not been changed on the intro in like seven years. The two "hosts" are up near social security age. lol. Somehow the "kids"(adult children) had their ages updated until they hit their twenties without moving out of their childhood home. The whole thing is like an Anthropology study in critters with opposing fingers. Fort Lauderdale is nice. My old boss moved there because he could not find a place in Miami with a dock deep enough for his ship/boat.
It's all updated... you just forgot to take your meds today. @@thomasallen6980
Don’t be too down. I’ve got the No Boat blues. Watching from work waiting for the day I can join you.
Lol I relate
I have the stuck in ohio blues waiting till we can move back to florida my home
@@jhershy1381Hurry up! It's getting crowded down here 😱
Yes
Amen to that!
Can't believe that's been 4 years already! Time flies!
YES !! i swear it felt just like yesterday she left for school
Congrats Anna on graduating college! I remember finding this channel, when she was on the boat and no older than 17. Glad to hear she’s doing well, enjoy your time with her in Texas!
What a bad choice.
Jack of all trades, I know y'all we miss him on the boat, he has a lot of great skills and he is a great young man.
The new kitchen backsplash looks great in the background Renee
Kate is a beast hauling that sail around! Go girl!
Keith That look of you being rescued by Jack was PRICLESS. Put that on your next "T" shirt. Love you guys.
Captain Jack😀
I would buy the shirt!
I feel for you guys on the boatyard blues. It's like going camping and being stuck in the camper because of rain.
Exactly!
19:00 damn Kate is a unit!
never want the video to end!
Keith is in LOVE with the new engines!💕
I love seeing Keith chilling in the chair hammock. We had one on our boat hung from one of the pilothouse davits. We would swing it out over the water when anchored and swing away, until one day that lovely dowling split down the middle and dumped my suprised husband in the water. It was an Amazon purchase. You might want to put some furniture oil or polyurethane on the dowel to keep the moisture in. If it does split on Keith, I hope that Renee is filming at the time.
😂😂😂
Sweet! You pull that upside down oil filter off, you’re having 1/2 to 1 cup of oil slicking up the wall, floor, and oozing down all those lines. I’d be mounting that oil filter horizontal. Horizontal you can make a catch out of a milk jug to fit under, with a pin on the wall to hang it.
I agree, see if the engine people can turn the oil filter bracket over so you won't dump it in the engine well every time you change the oil.
Agree this jump to my eyes directly if there is a good reason i'm curious
I will turn it 180° Then the oil will stay in the filter when you remove it.
I love how strong and capable Kate is! Not only turning into a gorgeous looking young woman, but one that has so many talents and skills and know-how and strengths. At her age I was struggling with body image and eating disorder and didn't know how to celebrate and embrace my strong, capable body. Looking back I wish I had the confidence and groundedness in my own skin that Kate appears to have.
Kate is strong 💪💪💪
Strong and beautiful 😍❤
WOW, It wasn't till now i realized Captain Jack has the same sense of humor like Captain Kieth. You two are crack up's. Love it. And Renee, your humor is an all rounder. Your the best mate.
I'm old and kinda lost some memories, been following y'all since mono hull days. Seen the young kids grow up to be outstanding!! Every time I hear your intro music ... I cry. Love y'all,be safe and happy 🇺🇸❤️
This is my first ever video that i watched of u guys and as soon as i saw keith i knew i was gonna like you guys 🤣 keith is an amazing father love em.
My favorite channel too is the true spirit of Family, than floating away on the waters of the World… really inspiring me. Compliments for all you do. Best Toto
Another Great video Renee. Jack, Finn, & Kate have been great help on the boat. They are always willing to help. Congrats to Anna for her Graduation from College and to Jack and Kate for their Scuba Certs!

"Small Delays on Big Dreams" - how true! :)
It makes me smile to hear about Kate and Jack getting their diver certifications. I can remember going with buddies when I was in the service while they got their certs. It not only is a matter of honor. There is also a huge measure of security knowing that there are people in your party/group that are on par with firemen and medics like being on land. A lot of concerns are met and covered. They are growing and maturing into strong seafarers and adults. I really like seeing the look of seriousness on their faces when they talk about their certifications, it shows the gravity of being certified and their grasp of it all.
Most kids their age have jobs and activities. All they have is a sea, four walls and Wi-Fi. what else they going to do all day? They should all know 6 languages and be able to multiplication in their heads up to the number 20 by now. They just sit there all day long every day.
From one vet to another...thanks for your time in uniform 🇺🇸 I've been watching the Z crew for a few years. Just went and rewatched their time in the monohull. All four of the "kids" have come a tremendous distance from those youngsters out on their first time onboard "for real." Jack and Finn have been really good about sharing how it is being a teen "stuck" at sea with their family. But they also appreciate what they are experiencing. I seen the maturity in them also. It's pretty rare in people their age. Nice to know it still alive in this crazy world!
@@thomasallen6980 From my experience kids that grow up on shore around water with the financial means similar to Jack, Finn and Kate, as well as their older sister aren't near the picture of the fine upstanding contributing members of society that you have drawn. Most are lax in their ethics, both personally and professionally, and the education that they do have is not being utilized and they can only speak one language. Finn and Kate both finished school early, Kate did at 16. Finn is a very well rounded musician, and is exploring writing. Kate has some blossoming artistic talents. Finn could write, play and direct his own music if he really wanted to, but he is choosing to broaden his horizons and experiences in life so that his profession will be of use and impactful in society. He also has a strong urge to clean up, restore and rebuild ecosystems. Kate, not only becoming a beautiful woman is already a very talented artist in many forms of paint media, and is learning other means to express the ideas in her heart, while also being a budding environmentalists she too is pursuing a career in sailing. Jack could already drive a boat very well, he is also becoming a licensed Captain, with a huge slant toward personal safety and rescue. I think that you would be hard pressed to truly find young adults who are as grounded, experienced in managing their funds and lives in this everyday world. Renee and Keith have raised some upstanding young adults who happen to use their forethought very well, and are very much aware of what is going on around the world in more ways than scores of other people are; I am talking about an awareness that encompasses every area of life, food, weather and political conditions. Their years on the waters of tge world hasn't been sailing from one sunny beach to another simply to go squish the sand through their toes. The dealt with corrupt militaries, and unsavory rascals on land who were trying to separate money from persons. They have sailed through seas that most couldn't make it through, navigating around the world more than once, while sailing on their own for almost a month on end. Sunbeams and pretty flowers, yes they saw that too. Gale force winds and 30 foot waves as they sailed around an island that shut them out at the last minute because of COVID, and a hurricane was developing behind them as they sail around Australia to beat it. Their life hasn't been as laid back as you choose to see it. They are far more educated and experienced than you give them credit for. They wouldn't be asked to give seminars if they were the beach bums that you so dully see through eyes clouded by misunderstanding and lack of observation. Yes, I am honored to have watched the whole family grow together and strong. Sail on Zatara!
@@sedatedape315 I thank you sir. I had held back for a couple of days. Then I couldn't stomach that mans comment. Yes we all have a right to our opinion. I was taught that if you didn't have anything good to say, be quiet. It is also obvious that this gentleman hasn't watch very many of their videos. I have seen almost 4 years worth in the short year since I subscribed. I must admit that I love the water, in particular the ocean, and sailing got hold of my heart when I was only 8 years of age. The draw of the water is ceaseless. The smell of salt air is powerful.
@@bobbolieu9013 yeah. And we served so people like that have the right to be like that. Weird, I know. I picked up on another cruising family that the Zatara crew met while sailing around Australia . Their channel is The Cruising Kiwis. I see the same depth in maturity in the three sons on that catamaran. I have found this usually start with the parenting. And as the "kids" on both boats are growing up they are seeking to what their future might hold. Just we all did, with doubts and silent fears of the unknown. But none are afraid of the future. They know what they are made of. The Z-kids have sailed around the world!
Why did you mount the oil filter upside down? When you unscrew that, oil everywhere
Is it possible to do that? All the oil filters I have known could only be mounted the right way up 😢.
Looks like when he cracks it loose, it'll drain right into the housing to me, just have to wait 2-3 mins before removing it completely and it'll be empty. Seems a better design then having oil in the line above overflowing the filter. Oil system is pressurized so it will work exactly the same.
Kate is a beast!!! That sails got to be 100lbs.....she picked that up and put in that car with just a smig of assistance....just sayin .....It seems she has fully recovered from her broken arm in Panama......at that my friend is how long I've watched every episode since leaving the docks in Florida.. wow !!! Time flies..... Fairwinds from the @captains.chair
Thoroughly enjoy all your adventures no matter where you might be. Thanks.
"minor setbacks on a major adventure & small delays on big dreams" is a great reminder, Renee, that it is all part of the journey and how we respond is actually more important than the actual uncomfortable situation we may find ourselves in...Won't be long and you will have crystal blue water sliding by underneath Zatara's twin hulls again. It feels like FOR EV ER! So, relatable...Disorganization and tools lying around the boat make me... 🤯
Awesome to have sails donated to a great cause. My brother lives on Maui. He lost his beautiful sailboat in the Lahaina fire 😢.
I love a clean, well organized engine. I totally understand the love.
Many congratulations to Anna 🎉. Great job.
Closer and closer. You all keep getting closer to being back on the water. Looking forward to seeing water wisking under the hull again.
😮Congratulations on 600k subscribers guys. Love your channel. I wait every week to watch it in my down time. Recent hip replacement means I had a chance to watch the first 2 season's again and wow your kids were tiny little champions back then. Great work on raising great kids. What a life you've given them and yourselves. Just awesome.
Congratulations on Anna’s graduation. Enjoy and celebrate her accomplishment.
When you said Anna graduates, it hit me like a ton of bricks.....she was a high-schooler just last year it feels like and I've been watching ya'll forever! Thank you for being a down to earth common sense family and most of all, thank you for uploading and allowing us to be a part of your family.
I was thinking the same thing. I remember the video of her flying off to college from the boat. 🛥️ Time has flown by.
Proud of you Kate! Keep going girl 👍🏼💃
Your famliy is so amazing and fun. Im 16 and have lived my whole life in the city with people who just want to go to work, I wish I could be there.
Been watching you guys so long it is going to be difficult to see the kids all gone off to do their own things. Great adventures for the family over the years and the kids have seen wonders in their world not many can duplicate.
Momma say's "Small Delays on Big Dreams" love it!
Congratulations Anna on graduation.
We hope to see you back on the boat.
Kate starting to look like Wonderwoman, goodness me - lifting that sail! 2 tickets to the GUN show 💪💪💪💪
I love watching this channel. It's so adventurous.
Good to see the crews are back
I love that you upgrade your older boat because it is so spacious for your family. I have a "Magiver" son; so watching Keith's projects is very familiar for me. Love your channel, thank you so much for sharing!
Congrats to Miss Anna!! 👍Well done!!
I used to live where you guys are about 40 years ago and I loved that area and miss it a lot.
Should the oil filter be installed upside down? When removing your gonna have a flood of oil!
Love You SAILING ZATARA❤❤❤❤❤
@5:23 Keith, aint mounting an oil filter like that problematic? You can't fill it with oil, it'll be full of air, and it'll drip oil everywhere when you replace it, in that orientation. Flip it upside down.
Congratulations to Anna! Time keeps flying on
Cool. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Congratulations Anna! Have a wonderful trip tp Texas!
Thanks, Renee, another wouldn't miss video!
Love the side eye in the dingy when getting towed! LMAO! You Guys are always fun to watch!
Thanks Zatara great video.
Keith's expression speaks volumes at 0:38...... Too funny!!
Always good to hear the B side! Back on the water soon great video! thanks!
This was a good video, sometimes just a day in dock life gives perspective. Thanks for sharing
Its better to have these problems now than in the middle of a crossing
Awe..let those blues just float away😊 Keith always makes repairs and additions & projects look easy!
You are wonderful Renee. Sending you love and best wishes from Australia. x
wow that so much rain . great video thanks for posting
You have a lovely family. I’ve been watching you in seven years Jack from Australia love watching.❤️🙏
"easy girl".......keith is so funny ! xD
Once again greetings from Much, in South Africa
Good stuff! Keep it up.
Well done gang, you'll get there! Jack's in the thick of it as usual (excellent) even Kate and Kenzie in the act with sail shenanigans 👍🤗 Thank you Mama R and Skipper K! 👏👏
lovly tour, we cannt wait to sail to Alanya again
Trying to fix and improve, as things break around you. Wonderful
Amazing Anna's been off the boat for 4 years! Love following your channel and I think Renee's editing is what keeps it interesting. Seeing Keith giddy with the new engines is fun though. Looking forward to more diving videos from Kate and Jack. The 360 camera may provide some good future video clips! Keith supervising from the hammock chair was simply awesome! Donate for a Dream
Glad to see you back in the states for the time being... Lifes zooming by, one moment you're in the US one moment you're half way across the world. What an adventure it has been watching 🙏 Also Keith petting his engines, a man of good taste 😂
Great video! Everything looks to be coming along nicely, but as always, when you are the one waiting for things to get done it feels like they are moving at a snail’s pace. When everything is all done and things are cleaned up it will just memory that gets smaller by the day. The camera system you have on board is really neat in that you can see everything everywhere from anywhere in real time. Enjoy everyone while they are all there as soon they will be on their own ways. Looking forward to your next video!
Thank you for sharing the next chapter of your lives. Going stir-crazy at the dock. Ships are safe in the harbor but that is not where ships are meant to be
Yanmar engines are the best! I'm so excited for you!
Lonely and abused, just can’t be refused, really nothing left to lose, blues - blues - blues boat yard bless
😂😍🎶
Great video! You guys take care and have a good one! 👍❤️
Groovy episode....again! You might just have the coolest ship on the seas once your done with all the upgrades.
Love that camera on the Mast!!!
love the meanwhile back on the farm music ...love it!
You guys are getting it done!! 👏🏻 Hang in there, you are on the home stretch 😁
God Kate is a very strong girl. I love this family so much. I have watched since you guys bought your first boat. The mono hull lol.
Like the updates in your kitchen!
That camera is off the hook ! love it!
What a great video, congratulations Anna. I have been watching since the beginning, remember Anna was always steering. While Jack and Kieth needed to adjust the sails. Jack has really developed his sailor/boating skills. Kate is awesome,,, wow,, love the new engines. Love the Zee crew you’re my favorite.
Well, at least the rain is washing away your fiberglass for you.
god willing and the creek don't rise - see you next thursday -
You’ve got a lot to be grateful for
I really like how you have easy access to fuel and oil filter are on the bulkhead. I have smaller hands and I even have a problems certain items on my vessel.
Blues fishing! I fished the waters where your at ( for 40 years) and at night time when its quiet snook fishing is great with plugs, shrimp, live mullet ,buck tails. Very good eating Florida game fish try it if your bored at night also lobster in those waters!! 😜
Thanks!
Great video.
If I have to have the blues, I wanna have boatyard blues 🥰 I’m thinking your having more of the construction blues 🤷🏼♀️ but what progress you’ve made….yippee!!!! You two have raised some amazing kids….. congratulations to Anna, that didn’t Jack pulled out of the sky was great and the girls hauling that sail took grit !!! Awesome job on the camera install Jack, you have great skills !!! Love y’all ❤
Amazing family and another fantastic video. Lee uk ❤️❤️
Are you guys looking for another kid to rent for cheap. I'm 65 years old living in Ontario Canada and every time I see your show it turns me green, but anyway thank youfor lovely programsAnd I love you all.
Rain!! It hasn't rained for 5 months here in northern Thailand!
Your Yanmar engine remote oil filter is upside down. Going to be a real mess changing filters, yes?
Good job
Renee, you cant tell everyone, keiths running around with his tool all over the place..Hahahahaha
Oh boy! I can sense your frustration Renee, but it's all going to be fantastic in the end. Jack is an amazing help for Dad...lovely young man with a cool disposition. Great Vid Renee, your looking amazing yourself and your kitchen is gorgeous. Lots of luv Naughty Nana Jude from Auss xx
Your boat looking like a mess is twice as clean as our boat AFTER we've picked it up! It is difficult to contain the carnage on a boat as you know. Thanks for sharing the repower process!
having the filters in near the engines is a good thing because you will be looking in the engine rooms and might notice issues you might have missed.
