My american bull just had a litter of 12. What a learning curve. It was our first time breeding so we used the vet to help deliver the puppies and monitor our dog during the birth. My partner does day shift and I stay up and do the night shift. I agree fully in what you have said. Research, research and research again, and still after all that you wont be prepared. There are alot of issues to deal with. From the puppies to adults there are all kinds of ways to lose money, puppies, and adults. Ive been doing this for 10 yrs the first 5 i bread pitbulls then i changed over to Bullies and hes right people dont get in this and think its going to be easy money. And believe its not. Ive lost entire litters to things i didn't know exist. Ive lost a stud to a spider bite. I had to fight heart worms and lost. Ive had puppies stolen, deformed puppies, mother's sitting on puppies, a stud who didn't want to stay in the yard jumped a fence got hit by a car, two weeks later the female i had bread him with got out her pin and died of heat stroke with the litter in side of her. There are times when I wanted to quit. I have 6 daughters and all of them help with the dogs and puppies and its alot to take in when the one you keep dies from something dumb or something that could have been prevented. This is a painful business.

Mane I’m doing my research I’m thinking bout taking all my savings and starting this American bully kennel for my son he love love love dogs … He is legally blind and I’m trying to start him something to do which I’m going to help to the fullest… I know it will pay off in the long run … but it’s the love of the dogs … not a hobby

He spitting facts 💯do it for the love not the money cause it cost alot of money to feed and care for the dogs so profit is at a minimum i got 9 bullys they eat about 100lbs of food a week plus snacks i got mine set up inside cause the mosquitoes in Florida are terrible and cause the heat so they house trained to handle there business outside pee and shit 😊make sure you have space for your dogs to exercise💪keep up the good work bro

Great video....info on an intact female: she has a higher percentage chance of getting pyometra, a deadly infection in the uterus that can take hold very quickly, if gone unnoticed, and occasionally the symptoms are very subtle, until it is too late. For a breeder, this is always a concern with their girls.

Amen, I’ve have just started in this breeding business. I started with 2 puppies and a full grown female. I have spent top dollar on each dog, igloos, roofs and top dollar kennels. I hope to god everything goes well with me, because I’ve had a lot of bad luck for the same reason your saying “rushing”. I bought a pregnant bully for $6000 and I ended up paying a $3000 c section the mother nor the puppies made it.

You absolutely correct about being careful about buying a bully. I didn't do enough research on the breed and ended up purchasing a beebul instead of a full blooded bully.. He looks like a bully but turns out he is a mix of Begul with Bulldog.

Been breading since 2016 an i put in mad work an 2020 will be the year i actually make a profit. All these prior years i been putting all the money from this buisness back into my kennel. Used Louis v an lost 8 grand with frozen semen, shipping, surgical insimination, stud fee an pg tests. All for the semen to come dead.

Bought a 4 months female Merle with one spot on her eye n back so technically is a birthmark but she my baby I just also put a deposit on a lilac male that’s gonna be ready ima.
