It looks like Jonathan really enjoyed the match
He didn't even look tired after winning the match and seemed to be fresh enough to play another match. The line judges were atrocious, they didn't even try to pretend they were interested in fair officiating to make sure LSF won.
I hope he wins gold at the Olympics, one of the nicest player on the tour with legendary endurance
If he wins at the Olympics he's the biggest overachiever in badminton history. Bar none.

This is what it feels like coming out of the pressure of top fours - lin dan, lei chong wei, chen long and taufik ...as long as they were there these players like axelsen and cristie and ginting struggled to make it to quarter finals now...when they're gone, the top fours there is some relief for players like chou tieb chen , Jonathan cristie etc....this also shows the league of difference between the legendary top fours and the current old players lol...kidambi also now is your chance, hs prannoy too

Jo looked very confident this entire tournament, like he will beat anyone in front of him. Confidence is very important and it radiates, something your opponent will feel. Some former pro players have told me it’s what Momota now lacks, pre accident Momota was full of confidence, but after he looked timid and unsure of himself.

Lin dan, LCW, TH, and LHI have smooth footwork but JoJo have solid footwork. He just not accurate with his smash
